The Easiest Clip-Ins!

I wanted a protective, low manipulation style but I needed hair that came close to my natural texture. I found it!

Hey y'all um, it seemed like the stronger my curls get the shorter. It is when it shrinks. You think when your hair grow is going to sit out bigger, but it don't really be the case. It just just be getting tighter and tighter. Anyway, i just added satin shield to my hair, because i'm going to need a little bit of protection because i am about to blow dry it out. You want to always make sure to use a wide tooth comb, while detangling or detangling brush, and be gentle with your hair, because it's most weak when it's wet. This is my favorite blow dryer i've been adding the link, but they've been selling out um every time. I added so hopefully they're back in stock, i'm going to try and leave the link there, and hopefully you can get yourself one. You can also get this continuous spray bottle at deeperthanhair.com. I just use it to kind of wet my hair back down because it dries out pretty fast while i'm blow drying. So sometimes you need that water on standby. Now that i'm all blow-dried, i'm just going to take a red tail comb and i'm going to part it from ear to ear, because i am going to do a half up half down today with natural extensions. So i know a lot of you like, oh my god, i know you're worried about getting the street part. Getting the straight part doesn't really matter because it's going to be covered anyway by the ponytail portion of the hairstyle. So don't freak out about that or if you have somebody around just be like hey, can you help me and part my hair from ear to ear? So that's what i'm doing right now do now that i have my back section parted out. I am going to cornrow the back now again, you don't have to have perfect braids uh they're going to be covered. So maybe you have somebody around who might can help you um, but if you don't just just break your hair, don't don't overthink. It is now, while cornrowing this braid, you want to take the excess hair from the previous braid and add it to the current one. That way, you won't have any hair hanging out. Everything would just be put away now, i'm just going to take that last braid and i'm just going to take a hair pin and i'm going to lock it up with the rest of them. Now i always like to make sure that my roots are being nourished while i'm wearing a protective style, so i'm using tiffany renee's super stimulant: hair growth, serum. It'S going to revive my hair, that's what she says and it feels like it's doing what it says. I mean i mean it's like a really cool breeze going through my scalp. I decided to use the roll-on because i don't want to use a whole lot of oil because i don't want it to travel onto my extensions, so i'm just going to use the roll on, which is super convenient and you can travel with it now. I'M just parting out another section which is going to be used to cover the weft for my back section now. This step is totally optional because, like i said before, the ponytail will cover everything, but i just don't feel secure without some hair covering the web. So i'm just going to take out this little piece of hair and i'm just going to put it um away for now and i'll come back for it later shine and jam is one of my babies and i'm gon na take it, and i am going to Slick, the top of my hair up and get it ready for the ponytail. Now the cool part about shiny jam, it's like it's so good. I just like slicking my hair down and i didn't put any heat in my hair outside of the blow dryer and it's going to have it slick and laying. But it's also going to give it that natural wave so that my natural hair, texture and curl pattern can match the extension hair. I know y'all like why is she using this little dumb brush? But let me tell you about this: breast child. This is ashley's brush. She nicknamed it the little devil, because it is a gangster brush seriously. It'S so gangster, i'm so tired. My arms hurt so now you're going to put your ponytail up and make sure you use a ponytail holder with no metal pieces, because you don't want to break the hair off. I think ponytail holders with metal pieces should be, i think they might be obsolete at this point, like i haven't seen one in a really long time, but if you do you run the other way. Next, just go ahead and braid that ponytail down, so the hair we're using today is by motely. It comes in these beautiful sandbags and it is kinky coil bundles. This is the original curl pattern, but i'm gon na wash it so it can look more natural, see that, oh, it's so pretty! I love this hair. Now. Let me just tell y'all something i was so sorry. I thought i got my clips. I thought i got the clips already made because she sells them in clips already made, but i didn't - and i ended up having to make the clips myself, but it's okay, because i wanted this hair in my head. So bad. I was down to do the work. So the clips i'm going to use today are called sulfate clips, so this is the pro they have wings on the sides that you can just slide the hair up in them and lock them in place. The con with this is that you can only put one weft in at a time. Usually when i sew my clips on, i put at least two tracks on each clip, and that way you can put less in your hair. So ultimately, it probably evens out with the amount of work so whatever now we're going to just clip this hair in i'm going to take the first one and i'm going to start clipping them in from the bottom or you know at the nape of the neck. Now, you're just going to keep stacking those tracks or wefts, whatever makes you feel better and go all the way up to the top. Now i'm taking my shea butter and flex seed curl cream by african pride. It smells so good, i'm obsessed with the scent and i'm obsessed with how it works for me. But i'm going to take out the hair that i'm using to cover the wefts, and i am going to get it to match the hair in the back, i'm just going to saturate it with some water. I'M also going to wet the extensions too, because i just find it easier to start with the hair being damp. I just keep smelling it. This was ridiculous. That'S how you know i like it, but anyway um and just i just want to get this hair to match my hair uh. It'S going to take a little while, but it's going to happen, see it's finally starting to crinkle up a little bit. It'Ll get tighter as the minutes go by, i'm just going to make sure that my hair is saturated with everything and then i'm going to get started on this ponytail is now. What i'm going to do is take this braid and i'm going to fold it in half. Then i'm going to take the beginning of my weft for the leftover bundle and i am going to secure it with a hairpin and start wrapping. It upward to the base of the braid. I was getting tongue tied so secure with a hairpin some people like to glue their ponytails on, but i'm not into glue whatsoever. I'M not saying that it's better, but i just believe that it's better for my hair not to put any glue in it. I know a lot of times. The glue doesn't even touch your hair, but it's just you know. I don't know it's still secure like this. I rather just hair, pin it in and the fact that there's no hair pin at the base is even cooler because none of those pins can agitate your scalp. So i'm just going to take this and i'm just going to keep going up up up until i get to the base. Now that i'm at the end of the ponytail, i am going to take this extra piece and i'm going to put a little shiny jam on there just to get all the strands together and then i'm going to use this to wrap it around the base of The ponytail to cover the wefts, sorry, i was talking a lot in the background of this video, but we was watching pea valley, y'all, watching p-valley like how y'all feel about it. It'S a lot it's a lot, but it's good, like i think um i actually we didn't watch it like three rounds like three times, so it's just something to pass the time, but i really do like this show tell me how y'all feel. As you see, i didn't even use a pin to secure it. I just tucked it and it's going to stay now, i'm just going to separate the hair because from twirling around their braid, it's just all over the place and i'm going to give myself not baby hair, but just kind of you know lay them edges a little Bit so that they can be, you know a little swoopy swoop, but not too much. My hair laid pretty good without any concentrated heat, and i feel like it matches perfectly now that the hair is dry. It'S nice and fluffy and big and a lot of people say: oh there's your real hair, i'm like no, not at all. I wish, but it's so beautiful and i love it. Thank you, motely girl. I am going to wear this for a while. I'M getting a lot of compliments, so it's up and stuck thanks for watching bye.
