Rave Hair Tutorial | Slime Tour

Hey Beans! Sorry this was a bit poorly explained, I do suggest watching some videos on how to dutch braid if you are unsure about how to go about that!

Braiding takes a bit of practice, especially when you are doing feed in braids on yourself! Using a hair styling wax has always helped me to get my hair nice and tight!

I buy my braiding hair from amazon by searching for: (colour) + Kankelon braiding hair and I am always able to find packs of 3-5 bundles of hair for anywhere between $10-$20USD!!

You can buy your own set of hair extensions from my hair Instagram @hairbyhera for $60USD (but there will be a black Friday sale so get ready for that!)

If you'd like me to make another video explaining this in depth a bit more on how I do my hair let me know!

Be sure to check out my other social media and subscribe to join the bean squad!

Hey it's here and welcome back I'm going to do a little hair tutorial or hinted the slime tour tonight, and I wanted to do my hair and, like this lime, green neon vibes. So I'm going to show you guys how I do that I am using this pair that I got from Amazon, 24 inches hold it in half and then 48 inches long unfolded. So I'm just going to leave that on my lap for now and then what I'm going to do is I'm going to section my hair? That'S! Okay! That'S fine! Um anyways hurt you here somewhat down the middle. So that's pretty good going to tie this section of my hair up, so it's nice and out of the way, then I'm going to section this piece down, starting from like the middle top of my head, all the way down to like the back of my ear Kind of area - this is the section that I'm going to work with, so I'm gon na tie this part back to. Are you gon na make them I'm putting gel in my hair? Now see you got to be glued super glued styling wax. I just put it right onto my comb and then I just kind of brush it into my hair, taking those big chunks and then re incorporating them like down here so brush. All of the end, I'm gon na go into my hair going to section this in half boom. We only need one half of this hair. The whole thing in your hair. It'S too much so I'm gon na split that half in half again well like that and then with that last half, I'm going to split it in half again. This is the piece that we're going to start braiding into our hair. So I'm gon na go back in with my comb and take a front piece of my hair and kind of like weasel in there with my fingers. This is where we're going to start the braid. I'M gon na separate this into three parts and then I'm gon na take this piece find where it is in half put that half into my hair this one that half that I just tossed back is gon na get braided in and this other half I'm actually Gon na hold it in my mouth, so it stays nice and tight so like at this point, you're just gon na start braiding like normal, with the other half of the extension, I guess, and after going through like the braid a couple times I'll, take that other Half and now I'm incorporating it into my braid pick up a piece of hair and then make sure it's nice and tight. Then you're just going to continue to Dutch braid for a little bit and now that I'm here we're kind of like halfway down. I'M gon na add that other half of the hair in toss it back and pick up that piece now and toss it back in. I always want to bring it back in on the same side just so that when you're braiding, it kind of gets like tucked right underneath, like the actual Dutch braid, if that makes any sense, we're just gon na finish, braiding this, like normal. That'S the only two pieces that we're putting in so it's about a quarter of that whole entire pack of hair, which isn't that much shouldn't. I do these braids on myself. They don't exactly turn out the best, which is totally fine with me. You'Re gon na have a lumpy and bumpy as you can see, but that's okay, I'm going to just braid this all the way down like this, so that's kind of like about as far down as I can go. I'M just gon na tie it off with an elastic and whatever that extra is I'm actually going to just cut as close to the elastic as I can so. It kind of looks like a little nub. Okay, after you bring it all the way down and you cut up all the ends and you have that little hair tie up there. I put like I'm putting another little black one up here, just for extra security, fine to undo you braid. I just got my elastics everywhere and now you have this cute little pigtail that has some added hair extensions into it. Normally, when I do these, I will actually take my natural hair and wrap it around the base to give it some volume, but I'm not doing that to date, because I don't care do the same thing to the other side. I do a little part here again, since this is for one night well do or I can't see anything, I don't care about even issues. Okay, so we're doing Jesus. I can't speak same thing grabbing our work home, putting a little bit of that gel on there and then just kind of bring it through. So we're gon na section out the small part of her hair and we're going to split it into three strands like so so I'm gon na hold them just in my fingers, whatever wait just so that they're all separate and then we're taking our here and wherever That halfway point is I'm gon na put it into this outside strand. Here kiss I love you. My sister just brought me my pink drink anyways. You learn, take that middle part and you're putting it right on to this strand of hair and then the one. That'S already facing the back for bringing it to the back of our hair, and it's going to become a part of this outer strand this strand in the front of your hair. Either. Have somebody hold it for you or just look right in your mouth after it has some sort of tension, you're, just gon na start braiding these three pieces like normal, Oh, outside infront, under and under, and under so that first round I actually don't pick up any Other hair from my head, I'm just trying to weave my hair around this strand enough, so that I can pick up this one and now incorporate it into the braid and then, as I'm incorporating this second piece here. This piece that was in my mouth into the braid, I'm also picking up just a little bit of hair from the front here, probably just like something, though, that big and then you're just going to continue to Dutch braid it normal. If you can't Dutch braid, I highly sar just learning before doing feet in braids, because they can be a little bit difficult when I get to this kind of halfway point again so right here, I'm going to take some of my hair up into it like that. Much and into that, I'm adding the next piece of hair. So halfway point in this piece goes in the back and then this half is going to and you're just going to continue braiding as normal and then, as I'm already coming back, I'm taking this piece and I'm bringing it back in the braid, and I am going To continue braiding, I have all the pieces of hair that I want into my Dutch braid again, I'm just going to braid it all the way down, so I can cut it at a decent length. I want this to be relatively the same length as this one. So I'm going to snip it kind of here see how that looks. I guess eyeing off my little thing again. Oh, my god, there's hair all over my arm with a clear elastic, just bringing it through my pigtail thing, whatever a bunch and then I will take just a regular black ponytail just so it matches the other side and it covers up any like reflections from the Clear ponytail and just wrap that around a bunch and just make sure it's extra secure and then we're just going to tighten that and that's how our little pigtails look. So now I'm gon na put in my regular hair extensions, along with my neon green to black hair extensions. I make these myself over on my hair Instagram, which is out here by Hira, and I sell these guys for $ 60 us, which is pretty good. Knowing that a lot of companies will actually Sully's for close to $ 200 - and you know what they're not worth $ 200 - but it's very overpriced - do these take forever to make yes, these took me about 3 hours to make, but I don't see it to be Right to be charging so much for hair, especially wave hair, it's expensive enough as it is like. Okay, sorry, quick cutaway, I'm using my luxy hair extensions they're pieces of, but they go in my hair and they're great for reefs. So I'm just going to apply those in as normal and then as I'm applying these guys in I'm also gon na, be adding the green hair extensions as well. There'S that one breeding people company - I don't wan na like miss, say the name just in case they're at Bass, Canyon and Paradiso this year, and they were doing like two regular Dutch braids with hair, I'm like provided by them, like with the braiding hair for, like 135 dollars, I was very overpriced, so um. I don't really agree with that, like I don't agree with something being that expensive and it's extremely overpriced and like looking at their brains like they all right, they're like you're, all right anyways, I'm only going to put in a couple of these brown ones. I always tease my hair before I put my clips and just so that they have extra hold, especially when I'm going to a an event, so they don't want them to fall out. Oh my god everywhere. So I only have two racks of my extensions and but it just adds like that slightest little bit of volume that I really want to have, especially with the green hair on top Inc. I'M going to add one more like smaller left near the top of my head, just this little tip. Now that I have all of my hair extensions, I clip in hair extensions in just of my natural hair color, I'm going to start putting in some of these guys. So these guys are super cool, since they have it's. Eight braids total on the four clips that you get there's two clips with these regular braids and then with the fishtail kind of to like pull through loop braids. I guess, let's Michael it and then we also have two sets of the bubble: braid and regular braid. Now, I'm just kind of figuring out where I want to have them sit. I'M just actually clipping these like right on top kind of right into my Burnett hair, extentions, just cuz. I know that they'll have a really good hold there. If you want a super secure hold with these braided hair extensions, I do actually suggest using your hair before putting them in just like with any kind of hair extension. I have like a little bit more extra hair up front here, so I think I'll add one kind of like your one again so now that they're all in this is what they kind of look like. So it's just like nice little peek through fun, little braids to have in your hair and I think it looks super cute and it's like super fun and Raby, but I still feel really natural with my regular hair. The last thing that I'm actually going to do is just run my straightener through my pigtails. Here they tangle a little bit less if you're at an event, and you have a hairstyle like this, and you find that it's tangling quite a bit. You can always braid them all the way down, like you kind of did in the beginning, or throw them up into buns, so they don't tangle as much or even create like your own bubble, braid just like this, and they will tangle a whole lot less. When you're running through these hair extensions, especially since it is synthetic hair, be very careful and don't hold your straightener on to the hair in the same spot for two to one, otherwise, it will melt because it is plastic. I have my straightener on four hundred and fifty degrees right now. It'S very hot I've never had a problem with the hair melting onto my straightener. I don't really care if it does, since it's a really crappy straightener that I got $ 40 at winners. If you have a really nice straightener that you're worried about having the plastic vault just keep the heat really low and go through the hair, a decent pace without staying in one spot for too long. I think this is my finished hair. I just wanted to keep it nice and fun and simple and really cool for the evening. This video is going to go up after the slime tour. Obviously so, if I see any of you guys there or if I saw any of you guys there, it's really nice to meet you and I had a lot of fun and I will post updates I'll, probably have an update post on how well this hair last. Didn'T me so, but I hope you guys like this video, I hope you kind of learned something from it. If you want me to do more, like in depth, hair tutorial, I will it's kind of hard to get a nice angle from here like into mice. Here I talk a lot of nonsense when I'm bringing it like everything through into a tutorial. So I'm really sorry. I have nothing made sense, but really bringing - and I hope you guys enjoyed this - please like comment subscribe and having a lot of fun with this and yeah. Hopefully, my hair holds up for the night. Alright, you guys I'll talk to you later bye, you
