Hey everyone, it's shannon and welcome back to my channel so for today's video i'm going to be doing such a requested video over wearing my instagram, which is how i style my hair. If you guys have been watching me for a while, you will know that my hair is very, very short, like it's got short and short over the years, because i'm obviously a bleach queen and, as you guys can probably tell i've got 20 inches of lich. I'M just obsessed, i'm literally speechless, so this hair was kindly gifted to me and i'm going to be showing you guys how to put them in because these actually clip ins um so a brand over on instagram called louisiana hair. I'M sure that's how you say it guys if you're watching this correct me if i'm wrong um, they kind of gifted me these clipping extensions and i'm gon na, be showing you guys how i put them in and how i style them because they are insane. But this hair has given me a whole new lease of life and i'm like buzzing and of course i've got a discount code for you, guys which i'll be talking about a little bit later on in the video. But it's a good discount code, we'll leave their instagram account down below so definitely go check them out um. So i'm just gon na get into the video now i really hope you guys enjoy. If you do, then, please make sure to smash the like button and, of course subscribe down below and also on instagram um and yeah, let's just get into the video okay. So, yes, i know short hair, like i say last time, you're gon na see with this short hair, because i'm a long-haired gal now, like i'm the 20-inch queen over here, so i'm just gon na quickly run through you guys how they come in the post. Uh run you through about the hair and stuff the box they came in. Is this beautiful little pink fox, who doesn't love a pink box and then the hair extensions themselves actually come in a satin bag? When i got them, they came the net around them or nice and organized in this bag. Obviously now because i've used them, i don't have the net anymore, but they come in a certain bag which i love. Now i've got my extensions that laid out right now, but in this bag i've got my extras because i haven't used all of the extensions, as you guys can probably tell my hair - is a little bit firm. You know i keep my spare ones in here. Um and then, when i take my other ones out, you do put them in, but i keep them like separate. So i tie them up with one of these like plastic hair bands that don't like really damage their hair, and then it also gives you the care instructions for the extensions now, because i've got clip-ins if i used to wash them after, like 30 uses and to Not wash them a lot um, so i haven't actually washed them yet as to wash them using a mild shampoo and to leave the conditioner in for at least 10 minutes. It also says to use a heat protect spray which i do use. I use this one. This is mainly up for towel dried hair, so i lightly dust this over the extensions and kind of leave them for a bit, but then i usually spray this on my own hair. It has the mark here one, but i ordered it off boots and it leaked all over my stuff. So i literally had like a tiny little jewelry in the bottom and it's currently sold out so i've kind of been using this one, which i love. It smells amazing to brush the extensions. I just use a comb. I want to kind of get a wider tooth comb, but this is the only one i have. I haven't managed to get myself down to anywhere to get a wider tooth one, but this is the one i use and it works really well on the hair. So this is one of my extensions. I have the 20 inch platinum blonde clippings, and these are unreal. The hair is 100 human hair, it's remy hair. You can style them, how you want, and i just love them. So i'm going to show you guys how i put them in, and i also have a discount code for you guys, which is 10 pound off any extensions which is so so good. So the code is lh2020ss i'll pop it on the screen now and i would leave the instagram link down below and let's just get into showing you guys how i took them in and how i style them. Like i say: i'm not an expert. This is kind of the first time that i've really used extensions. However, i found it quite easy to pick up and i've had so many compliments on my hair and saying how nice it looks. A lot of people haven't even realized that they're clippings and i'm like love that so i was trying to think about the best way to kind of show you guys how i do this and, to be honest, i'm not really 200 sure, but i'm going to roll It try my best, so i'm going to section my hair kind of show you guys what it looks like from the back after i've sectioned it and we're just going to see how it goes. First off the first section, as i like to section it from where the top of my ears are and then just run my fingers round clip it up, of course, a good old primer grip. We love it. So i'm going to turn around now and show you guys how what my hair looks kind of looks like from the back. This is what my hair currently looks like from the back. I'Ve got this backcomb brush and i like the back combs of my hair. So then, the extensions properly grip into place first off extensions i like to use, is the ones with the free grips, and i literally just grip them into place. The first set of extensions - i hope you guys - can kind of see so just move you guys back a bit. So hopefully you can see a bit more because, obviously now i've got long, hair, i'll style it in sections just going to make sure i've got all of the hair, as you guys can probably tell the extensions are already slightly curled from when i wore them yesterday. I was going to straighten them them, but i don't really want to put loads and loads of heat on them, so i just want to leave them a little bit curled, but obviously my natural hair is straight, so i'm now going to show you how i curl My hair, so what i like to use is actually one of the mark hill pick and mix ones. This is actually one of the newer ones. It'S like a straightener and curling wand. Now, because the sort of how you do it is like this, it's not as good as a straightener, as you can't probably like count down, but it definitely does the job wasn't like uni and when i have extensions in, i don't really tend to have my hair. That straight anyway, um, but the wand on this is so cool. It'S like a curved kind of play and it really really helps to curl my hair now, shannon you guys, obviously know shannon done quite a few videos together now on my channel and on hers, um i'll link it down below. If you want to see her, i could not curl my hair with straighteners for the life of me. She told me how to do it. My mum got me this and now i'm like a pro i'm a straightener color pro. I can't believe i haven't pronounced to it for all these years, just like to take a section of my hair. I also try to take a bit of my natural hair as well. So then it kind of like all curls together and then on this side. I just twist it away from my face. I sometimes hold the extension as well just so then it doesn't come out of my hair and then i always like re-clip it in after i've curled it um so yeah. This is the first curl like look how beautiful that is. I literally love it well like. I need a literally count like this video. If you think i need to literally count because i feel like i need one, and i just said it so many times in that sentence. This is one side curl now, if you're a hairspray user, then definitely go ahead and hairspray it. I personally just don't like hairspray, i don't know how it feels in my hair um, so i don't usually use hairspray. However, i find that the curls do actually stay really really well i'll. Show you guys how i curl the other side of my hair, and this side took me a lot longer to like learn how to do it. Um, i feel like i've got it now, um, so yeah, let's just twist it away from your face. Honestly, it's the most satisfying thing when you've, just cold beautiful, even say, but i feel like quite a few people will be like your hair, isn't like platinum blonde. However, my hair has like loads of different kind of like colors of blonde in it, and it just blends in with my hair so so well. This is the first two sections of my hair, curls, okay, so for the next section i kind of aim to go from, like the tip of my eyebrows and round. There isn't like a major gap between the first set of extensions and the second set, because my hair is quite thin and how i, like my other hair i've gone, make sure i've got enough hair on top of my head to cover the other extensions. If that makes sense, just repeat the same process again where i just like backcomb my hair, is it such a good background by the way i would link it down below, but my mum bought it ages ago, um. But this is what it kind of says on it and honestly, it's um my dance comps all the time. Obviously, at the moment, kroner, no dance cons, love that and then the next set of extensions i clip in is this one, which is got the four things on it. So if you can see these little kinks from wherever i made waves, yet um so yeah, i'm just gon na pop these in having hair extensions, is like getting your nails done or like having eyelash extensions. I thought once you once you do it. You can't go back. This is the next set in. Has everyone been watching on netflix at the moment since i moved to uni like i had like freshers week and like meeting everyone, so i haven't really probably had a chance to probably sit down. Obviously our binge watch selling sunset, like probably everyone else, just started watching um emily in paris or something it was like number one. I was like i'll give it a go and i'm literally hopefully watching it all day. This is the next section called. I always do. Go through and just make sure that all of my natural hair has been curled and not been missed. Sometimes it happens so for the next section. I don't really have as much of a guideline as the other ones, just kind of go, maybe like a bit above the tip of the eyebrow and then go around. I make sure i try and pick up as much hair from the back for this one, because the hair that i'm using it doesn't go all the way around the back of my head and sometimes it doesn't get covered by my hair. So i have to make sure that you probably like go around the back of your head and get as much hair as you can so. The next bits of hair are these two bits here with this, because i've already curled them. I have to hold them up and make sure i'm clipping them in on the right side, so i clip this section in here and then just fold it around the back. Show you guys now from the back what i mean as as these clips clip in here. I have to make sure i've got enough hair here to kind of like cover the clip, so you can't see them, i'm just going to take a little bit of this hair and curl it in with the extension just so it blends in a bit better. Don'T always go in and curl every single segment of the extensions like this bit. I probably won't curl, but like the bit behind it. I did because it had some of my natural hair behind it. So i don't like to use loads of loads of heat on these all the time so sometimes i'll, mermaid wave it and if i'm mermaid i'll have it mermaid wave for a bit until they've properly like dropped out. So i filmed the final segment and it didn't press record, but this is kind of like what the under bit of my hair is looking like now, so i've just taken the top bit down - and i kind of do this a little bit different to how i Do my other bits so, first off i get my back comb and i just section it off here and then just fold it over and brush it over. This is kind of like the lazy way of me doing it, because i can't wait to clip it, and then i just backcomb this section here, and this is where i use the single clips and then i just flip it in here these bits. On top of my head always stay really really well. This is my hair, all the accessories in i'm just going to quickly run the curlers through all the top bits of my hair, the back bits of my hair, that's the most important thing is just to make sure you curl a bit of the backs. Then it all blends in and then i'll be back, so i've just finished cutting the rest of my head and now we're going to do my favorite thing. I honestly love brushing it through is so says, that's fine! So i'm just going to use this comb and just brush through all the curls and if anything like drops drastically, then i'll just quickly go over it again with the curlers. Oh my god, it's actually so satisfying. I love it. This is my finished hair. I just honestly love it so much it's actually giving me so so much confidence that, like i didn't kind of know that i needed, but i just love it like i said i do have a discount code, which i will leave linked down below definitely go check Out their instagram, the hair is honestly insane. I really hope you guys enjoyed this video. If you did, then please make sure to search for that button and, of course, subscribe down below and yeah. I will see you all in my next video
