How To Cut Natural Curly Hair - Kinky Cut And Color Tips And Salon Visit

If you watched last week's video, you would know that I told you guys I needed a cut and I kind of showed my ends and stuff like that. Well, today's the day, I'm getting a cut, I'm getting this color, updated and revamped and, of course, I'm bringing you guys along with me, because the girls just y'all just eat up my salon visits. Let'S go. Oh child y'all. My eye keeps watering okay anyhow. So before I get my cut, I do want to share that. What you're seeing right here with my hair is no products. It'S freshly washed, no conditioner. This is my hair in its natural state and when you get the mazani air cut, because that's what I'm getting today is the mazani haircut. I showed this previously on my Channel with Jada. When I had a taper cut, you guys ate it up, and so today, I'm back with Jada she's, also the person who or The Stylist who does my color and keeps me on my toes with the color and takes really good hair good care of my color. However, the mazani haircut you come into the salon and you don't see important that you come with no products on your hair so that you can see where exactly your natural curl Falls here. She is listen. Y'All always ask me on YouTube. What cup they asked me? What color is my hair and I'm always there like what like a specific color and I'm always like I can. I always go. I can't answer because this is a custom color by Jada that has held up really really really well um, and I can never answer it, so this is Jada yeah she's been on the YouTube channel before with the mazani haircut. She does my color and she's gon na do another custom, color uh today kind of you know just bringing this to life to life. Flossing it up getting your roots. Together there we go getting Amazon, ear cup back and forth. There we go. You can just be popping and do your thing girlfriend is fall, so we got ta make sure you look good there. We go um gosh, oh my gosh hold on. You have to tell this story again. This is funny. This is hilarious, so yeah every time, I'm in this Salon minding my own business, okay and literally every time I come here, somebody's like. Oh, that's, Chinese! That'S how I found out about Jay, the mazani air cut, focuses on creating pockets of air within the hair to create maximum volume without any styling products. I can't wait to see them color, not just because you saw on the TV but understanding and learning your color that you're using right and what it can do for you. So your this color I'm putting on you, doesn't have any ammonia in it. So it's not going to do any harm to your hair. It'Ll! Be fine! Oh that's cute! It'S full! Yes, yes, giving fall! Okay! Now we are adding in some pot. I like this. A lot it seems like it's gon na, be easy to maintain too. So this is where Jada applied. The highlights what I like to call the Razzle Dazzle these highlights are just going to be in the front of my hair and she's. Just I don't even know what the technique is called. I'M just gon na call it like creative highlights - and you can see here that she's just taking apart pieces of my hair in the front to give me some pop and Razzle Dazzle again. These are going to be blonde highlights. After that, we washed out the highlights washed. My hair conditioned. It sat underneath the hair steamer to replenish the moisture that was can be, or that can be taken from you know, just processing your hair. I love that Jada styled. My hair, with both a mousse and a gel, because this is what I do at home. She used the Mizani, styling foam, hair, mousse and mazani's perfect coil oil gel the foam. Mousse is similar to other mousses, in that it's lightweight, foam, wrap infused with nourishing and strengthening properties. Its ingredients include monoi oil, shea butter and anti-breakage ceramides. The perfect coil oil curled gel is really a curl activator gel that is made for curly to very tightly coiled strands. This gel is made with a moisturizing coconut oil, marula oil, olive oil and it's designed to Define and shape natural textures, I would have to say, is very very similar to the pattern. Beauty curl gel that I showed last week where it's like really creamy. But it's a gel, listen! I had to rush out of the salon. So Jada ended up diffusing my hair. My preference would have meant to set the curls underneath the hood dryer, leaving Scurry out of there to go, get my son from school to go. Take him to basketball practice, long story short it's about four hours later, since I left the salon, I ended up wrapping up my hair and pineappling it, and then I'm gon na check back in tomorrow. So you guys can see the final results of the cuts. The final results of the color and we can close out this video - it is the next morning and let's go ahead and get into it. So this is the big reveal of the color look at this. This is terrible. So listen. I have no idea how my hair is going to turn out, because I pineappled it and when I pineappled it it was very much still wet. Even though I left the salon hours look at this color, it's like screaming fall right like this is fall. I'M so excited okay, so excited, oh, my god. Let'S get into this color, oh my gosh, so cute now I am just really trying to revive this pineapple situation and resuscitate these curls because baby they are smushed and the hair is not giving at all. I have to keep it real. This is not what I was hoping for, especially with the pineapple. So I think where I went wrong yesterday. Remember I had to rush out of the salon. My hair was still wet, even when I pineappled it. I could tell that it was still wet, so it's just it's not straight, but it's just not falling like you can see it obsessed. Okay, so I'm going to go ahead and re-wash my hair, redo it and come back to you guys, but like better results, but sometimes I don't know pineappling at this length just always work for me and it's been a while, since I've had hair this long. So I'm gon na have to find something that works for me. Typically, it does, but because I think the problem is my hair was like really wet. Okay, now we are in business. Okay, listen! I love going to the salon. Jada is my girl. Like look, look at this color y'all Jada hooked this up, okay, but you know I kind of like I like the way I do I like the way I do my hair listen. I think we're all kind of like that. We like how we do our wash and goes. That'S why there's no one size fit all in terms of like how you want your wash and go to look okay. So what did I do? I ended up washing my hair from start to finish again. I sat underneath the hood dryer. You could tell why, because look how smooth my hair is like the roots are smooth look at this so cute, and then I took the Bonita Apple bomb removed the cast - and this is where we're gon na be at notice that my last week's video I had This huge fro because I used a diffuser - I had the pick. I was like this one. No, no it's none of that. I have the super defined curl. Okay, this style is going to last a very, very, very, very, very back. Look at that. I'M obsessed with this cut all those split ends that I had last week are gone. Look at that curls are just beautiful without the straggly ends. Ah I love it.
