Hey guys, it's Laura and today I'm going to be back to making videos, because I continue with this channel because I had complete regrowth of my alopecia for the past year. So that was awesome, but sadly it's back, and so I want to start making a bunch more videos for this channel, just different um reviews on hair pieces. How to question answers at that type of thing, so yeah, let's get right into it. This video is going to be in. I apologize, I'm not like the most expert filmer so and I need the mirror. So I decided to just film in the mirror, and so I'm going to try to keep looking at the camera. So it doesn't look like I'm yeah. So I'm sorry if the filming is a little bit strange um, but today's video is going to be how I cover my hair loss using clip in hair extensions. Those have been a literal lifesaver for me. They have kept me from having to wear bigger, hair pieces or full-on wigs. I don't know how many times right now my hair loss is pretty extensive. I would say I only have about 50 % or even less than 50 % of my her own hair left. So I'm kind of eating at the end point of being able to use extensions, and I am actually bought a wig and also a topper, which I will be making videos on showing you guys that talking about them doing reviews how they worked for me, etc. Um. But yeah, so if you have hair loss that is not like, you know very severe. I highly recommend investing in a set of human hair. Well, Orson said it and synthetic, but human hair is the best for extensions, because it blends much easier um, because that are stairs such a lifesaver and they literally like I, you know I only have like a few percent of my hair and they're still. You know it's getting pretty hard to cover them at this point, but they're still they're still able to cover for the most part. So let me I'm wearing two of them now. Let me pop them out these. I got I'll leave the brand in the description because I'm not sure of the brand right off the top of my head, but they are were only the echo that Sally beauty, so just one of those stores Sally baby stores and they were about $ 80. Let me just show you on the camera: here they were about $ 80. Sorry, it was doing in a little so that might have been really close yeah. They just have clips here. I think you it comes with about ten pieces of different sizes. This is the largest size. This is the smallest size of the full pieces and then there's some few just single clip pieces for like near the front um. These were such a great investment. So, as I said, I just got them at the Sally Beauty store only about $ 80 um, and these I've had them for probably three or more years now, and they were, you know what I'm not even kidding like. I honestly I'm going to fully admit I did not. I have not like taken really careful care of them. I'Ll go like way too long between washes than I should. I you know brush them quite violently. I use heat on them all the time and literally they have held up so so well, they haven't really lost hair um. They just they've just held up perfectly for not being like some hugely expensive, expensive thing. So highly recommend getting this so depending on the amount of hair loss. I have is the amount of extensions that I will wear at a time and also depending on how, where I can clip them in so it's getting pretty challenging now to do it, but I will show you, even with extensive hair loss, how I can still manage To cover it, I have my hair parted, where I usually you know part it. So I'm going to show you a little bit of the extensiveness of the hair loss. I have bunch gone. I hope you can see this from the sides here and then, as you go back large large spot here, the most expensive part is, I am missing all under here. So if you can see that I hope you can see that um. You can't see that I will you'll be seeing it now, but I'll film, a separate part showing my hair loss. If you can't see this um yeah, I'm just on the sides here, it's pretty much identical. It'S also thinning up here at the top, which is why extensions are kind of becoming not very useful, so a lot of hair loss. So what I start as I take the first piece um, it's very natural for me. Now it's a little awkward at first. I just take the piece kind of part, my hair, under where I'm gon na want it clip it down these clips. Even if you clip it to barely any hair, they will stay really well. I just continue parting, my hair around just lifting the hair that I want to be over them clip feel, but it covers the spot like this big spot here then wanting to cover it's covered it bring it around. This is worth a little bit tricky. There'S not much hair here part, it shape the hair down me over clip and then that spot there it's pretty much covered um, that's the first one. As you can see, I could kind of get away with just wearing one, but wind boy, and I want a little bit more volume so thickness. Take my second one. Just do the same thing right below that um. Usually when you put in hair extensions, I'm just normal hair, you start at the bottom and work up. You don't put one in and then put one in like over top of another one. But since I don't have that much hair to clip it in, I use that other extension that I just put in to help have more hair to grip to so I'll, actually clip extension to another extension. I'M sorry! If you just heard something that was my phone going on um, so yeah just bring it around and clip it in see, there's a there's, a bald area there that I need to clip um right that little too far out. So I just bring down a little bit more hair, even though that's not much. These clips will literally stay in, like, as I was saying before, not taking very good care of these and another example. I'Ve swam in them I've swim in the ocean, some violent waves. My hair was braided, but I waves and it's probably not the best saltwater but, as I was saying, I haven't taken the best care of these innate held up great. So that's what I was saying and yeah these stay in, like they do not ever ever slip out. So if you're wanting something very secure, they stains. So if I'm in a hurry, I will just leave these two clips in and there's two extensions in and not do any more. If I'm going to take more time - and I want to do more I'll - add a third one below that. Second one and um yeah, but a lot of times I will just keep the third one so then, finally, I check the back to make sure your no clips are showing or no spots are visible. So that looks really good. Also, as you can see, I don't you can see that, but it's thinning up here so a lot of times. That'S why extensions are getting a bit useless when I'm like moving on to toppers and wigs um, but I'll like fill that in with some dark eye shadow. So that would be my last step that you're not going to do that since I'm not going on it anymore today, so yeah. This is how I use hair extensions to help with my hair loss and they have been a literal lifesaver. So they said, oh, my goodness, gracious they have been a little lifesaver. I'M kidding, use them so much so long, great investment. These ones, I believe, are 14 inch ones. You can get shorter ones or longer ones longer it is the more expensive it is obviously, but still for hair pieces $ 80 for human hair, for something that will last a long time is a great investment, and I highly recommend, if you have a moderate hair Loss, so I hope you found this video helpful. I will leave the brand of these hair extensions in the description for you guys, as I don't have it off the top of my head and I'll leave the color to if you guys are interested. It'S just kind of like a medium to dark brown um if you guys are interested yeah. So thank you for watching this video and come back to my channel I'll, be making more videos on my wig after I get cut in style tomorrow, so I'll be making a video on that and my topper and just more videos about alopecia. So if you in, following with my alopecia areata journey click, subscribe down below and I will be making more videos, alright, bye, guys
