Hey guys um normally i'd, be wearing a ball cap or something to hide this mess, but um i'm doing an unboxing for something i ordered on amazon. So i'm going to be exposing myself anyways, so i might as well just let you see my lovely mess um. So this is what i ordered and uh yeah, let's rip her open and see how it is, and for those of you who don't know what a topper is. A topper is basically um a toupee for women. It'S an amazon, so yeah um. I started losing my hair, i don't know like a year ago and just like in the past few months, i've got 12 inches off my hair, so yeah not too excited about the balding okay. So i just opened up the box, and this is how it arrived and what it looks like i'm going to carefully see carefully, but it's not going so good um carefully, try and get it out of the package without causing any damage to it. Okay, shake that out a little bit okay. So this is what it looks like. Okay, i got the one that doesn't have bangs because um, because i don't want to have bangs um, but you know they do have them with bangs too. So if this ends up working out um, i can always look into that. I'M actually kind of impressed. The hairline looks pretty pretty real. I don't know if you can see that, but it doesn't look too bad, so you're, probably like okay. Well, how bad can this really be here we go, i will show you how wonderful my hair loss is see my scalp through my hair and um. Honestly, it's been really hard on me because my hair is, you know, part of my femininity and losing so much of my hair. I'Ve really just yeah not been happy with how it looked and i'm always wearing ball caps. When i leave the house - and i just really like to try and not wear a ball cap for once so anyways - let's give this bad boy a try, so we're gon na find a spot to plug him into okay. So the first issue i'm having is this clip, doesn't want to pop into place there we go. Okay, first, clip is in second clip third clip and last but not least, fourth clip is in place. Okay, so it will take some work. Obviously, to get this lined up on me properly because my part isn't a natural center part, but i don't know how this looks. The color is good, but it seems like it might be a little too short. I thought i was like worried that i ordered it. Maybe too long because my hair is so short, i don't really like how it looks in the front. Maybe if i like do something with the bangs here you know, can i even oh? I can okay, okay, all right, i don't have a mirror in here, so i can't really see the back. So i'm just kind of gon na rely on how this looks via video but anyways, so um in the package also came. I read me first thing which i took my glasses off to make videos, so i can't really read it first and this um and it also came with some extra clips. So, okay, so that's that um, we'll uh, let you know or might you let me know what you think tell me what you think, does this look like horrible or does it like? Is it viable? Does it pass for real or part of me, or does it just look bad like? Let me know what you think in the comments um. I might actually order a longer one, or maybe one that has some curl to it or something to see. If i can um pull off this look and fix this, so i can walk around with some confidence again all right, anyways, okay, thanks for watching um like and subscribe, and yeah i'll see you guys later. Okay, stay, beautiful, hey, okay, so um, just quick update! I uh took a straightening iron and straightened out the topper toupee um and yeah. It looks much more natural um. I still have to pull my bangs up because it's, i can't seem to get the front to line up, but i think once i buy um a longer one i'll be able to make it work better. Um because i'll be able to actually bring it to the front like i'm supposed to so anyways i'll. Keep you guys posted on that um. Don'T forget to like and subscribe we'll see ya.

Donna Swift: First, thank you for this review, I hate seeing all of the brand specific ones. I know how upsetting hair loss can be, and even though I think your natural hair still looks fabulous, I get it. I think if your bio hair was layered a bit more, you could probably easily make that work because the color match is great! I've only been wearing a topper for a few weeks, and I love it so far. took a little time to get used to blending it and making it work for me. I hope you find something you absolutely love!
Heidibee: I ordered a topper with bangs. It got somewhat bent in transit but mine was supposed to be heat resistant (stylable by curling iron) so l managed to straighten it out. Yours looks really good from the front. The back curls under and gives it a sort of bulgy look in the middle. I think you're right. Get the longer one. Other than that, it's an incredibly good match.
Mary M: Matches your color really well & looks better after straightening. Maybe a longer one the length of your hair to add fullness to the bottom would blend really well for a more natural look.
Jaye: I agree with your conclusion that it is a little too short for your hair length, but the colour match looks really good. Also, it may be just the video, but the hair itself looks a bit "slick". If you have dry shampoo, that might work to reduce the gloss a bit.
Leenie125: My hair’s been thinning* for the last 10 years and now it’s really noticeable, but your natural hair doesn’t look thin at all to me. I’m sure you know how your hair really is, but it looks fine on camera. The topper did look too short but maybe you can find a stylist that will trim your natural hair to blend better with it? I’m thinking about getting a topper and hope you’ll make more videos and let us know how everything turns out. You are not alone in this.

brendaj helps: You need to order higher quality toppers. Watch the YouTube videos on toppers. They cost more but are well worth it.

HBC CAZ: The topper shouldn't be placed that far back. Also, it's too short. Order one longer than your natural hair because you can cut it to the length of your hair. The color is spot on....your beautiful and I know how you feel. I live with it everyday.....they can send rockets to space but can't figure out hair loss. Get ALL your hormones checked...read up on hormones and how important they are.
