Hey guys welcome back to my channel, if you guys are new my name's bree and if you're not welcome back, stop right. There make sure you click that subscribe button as well as turn on your post notifications. On that way, you guys get notified whenever i post a new video, but for today's video i am coming at you guys with a hair tutorial um. I in my last video that i made of my sheen clothing haul. I got a lot of compliments on my hair and a couple of you actually asked me if i would be able to do a hair tutorial on it and it's super easy. Just this half up half down hairdo um and i do use clip and hair extensions. So that's the only thing that gets a little complicate complicated. If you guys don't use clip in hair extensions, then it's literally super easy. You can just follow these steps and not include the hair extensions. It is the easiest thing and it's super cute, and this look is super popular right now. So if you guys would like to see how i style my hair, like this, just keep watching it is so hot okay. So this might be a little bit of a struggle, because usually i do my hair in the bathroom and i have like a big mirror and i do it standing up and then i can also like see the back of my head. So bear with me. I'M gon na try to do this as clear as possible. Usually i've only done hair tutorials, i think with myself curling my hair, so it's easy, but this time i'm actually going to be doing like a whole hair tutorial. So hopefully it works out. Bear with me. So first thing is: i didn't grab my extensions hold on i'm using my newer camera, the m50, and i am praying that it cooperates with me this time, because the last few times kind of played me on the autofocus. So i hope that i'm in focus right now. I really wanted to use it because i have not used it in this setting. I think i haven't filmed a video with my vanity or on my vanity since my skincare routine video, so it's been a while, but first thing is first, so we are currently working with three day old, hair, thursday friday saturday, three day old hair. So today is sunday and i have not washed my hair since thursday. Just so you guys know i like to wash my hair on mondays and thursdays. I try to only wash my hair once a week, sometimes in the winter i'll i will only wash it once a week i like to wash it on thursday nights because then i feel like it's fresh for the weekend, um, but obviously right now it's super hot And you're sweating constantly so this hair, i probably can't i've worn it in curls the last two days so um, it probably wouldn't have been the cutest type of curls um right now. If i was to do it, but this is why this hair tutorial is perfect. For old oily hair, so i'm starting off with my hair, the first product that i like to use, which i have mentioned in my previous videos before - is this. So this is the ag haircare bio fire wall, argan, shine and flat iron spray. This just helps protect from the heat, so we're just gon na go ahead. I have a mirror over here, so i might be looking in this direction and then obviously you guys already know. I have like that problem with the screen popping up this way. So i'll. Try to look at you guys as much as i can. This just protects from heat, and then you want to comb your hair out and if you guys have watched my previous hair videos having the mirror here is actually perfect, because it allows me to see back there in that mirror. What i'm doing so. That worked out great. I think this might be a success. Um i like to use well the name kind of came. The name completely came off, but i buy this comb from you can get on amazon um, but it is the coconut oil infused comb. Combs are a lot better for your hair than compared to brushes. So this is the only thing i used to comb out my hair, wet or dry um. So once you comb out your tangles and you prepped your hair with um your choice of heat protectant, i really recommend the ag firewall. This is super easy you guys so easy um. The reason why i wanted to do this hair tutorial is because you guys requested it a lot on my last video and i got a lot of compliments on it and then i, if you don't wear hair extensions, then this video is going to be extremely easy. You can just follow the steps without the hair extensions, but if you do then now you know how to do it with clip and hair extensions, and i am thinking about doing a more permanent hair extension um. I wanted to do it for my wedding, but then that got cancelled, so i'm was hoping to do it for my birthday. I hope i can still do it um. So that's why i really wanted to film this tutorial now, because i'm not sure if i'm going to be wearing the clip-ins for that much longer. I just want to try them out and get them maybe sewn into my hair, but i'm not sure yet um. So prepped hair, combed out the tangles and now all you're going to do is you want to part your hair pretty much where you're going to want it to be parted? So i can usually do a good part just by using my nails because i'm so used to it. Hopefully, you guys can see it now, but so you just want to do your hair half up half down and you can put as much hair as you want up and leave as much as you want down. But this seems to work for me wearing the hair extensions and you can leave. You know front pieces out if you want you can just do this part. If you want to i um today. I just want my hair all out of my face because it's hot, so i'm gon na - be putting it all up um, but i have done it in the past where i'll, like leave with sure enough hair out just to like little bangs or something. I turn around and hopefully you guys will be able to see um how i parted my hair, but you want to make sure and check the back to make sure it's like a clean parting. Just so, it looks good okay, so you're gon na have this part clipped this part down the clips. I'M using are just these um clips from from our, but i'm sure you can get them anywhere on. I got them from the hair supply store, cosmoprof uh because i'm a licensed hair stylist, but i'm pretty sure they sell them on amazon if you're. Just looking up these clips are really good for you when you're styling, your hair and sectioning it, and you want something good to grab it like if you're flattering it or curling it. I really like these clips to clip out of my face and section everything so now what you're gon na do you're, not gon na touch the top yet, but now what you're gon na do is you're gon na part, your hair, with the section that's down you're, Going to kind of part it in the middle, so you're going to still have some hair down and then part this one, and then you want to clip that out of the way. Now. What i like to do is start to curl that part um. The curler that i use is just this um regular gold barrel from the brown paul mitchell. It'S a one and a quarter um curling iron. So you can just use your favorite curling iron um, a wand, just whatever you feel comfortable with curling your hair. So now, obviously, if you don't have clip in extensions, you can skip this part, but i like to wear yeah bellamy khaleesi in platinum blonde. I believe it's shade number 60. um. This is the khaleesi hair extensions. I have made a video about them before but they're my favorite um they're already pre-curled, because i've been wearing them and i don't wash them that often so you just want to make sure to get the tangles out the curls, usually last um. What i like to do is usually i'll clip it in and then, if i feel like i need to re-curl it, then i will but i like to clip in a the three clip my camera decided to die, so we had to take a little break and Now it's kind of sunny out here um, but we're gon na make it work. Okay, so first set of the three clip is installed and now you are going to put your hair. The rest of your hair down and the rest of your hair down should cover your extensions if they're placed properly and now you're, just gon na curl what you just brought down. Okay, so now we're gon na work on the top part and first off what i like to do is get my spray bottle. This is the best spray bottle ever because it has like a continuous mist um. You can probably get it on amazon, and then you just want to smooth out the top of your hair and i'm just using like this comb and you can make it as loose or as tight as you like. I like mine, to be pretty tight to show off my big old forehead. If you're going to be adding extensions, make sure you have them like ready on deck. I used two two clip extension wefts um. I just find that's what works for me. So now again, once the top part is smooth, you just want to split it in half. Hopefully you guys can see but you're going to split it in half again and you're going to take the bottom part clip it out the way. So now you have this piece. I know this is like this is so awkward, but you have this piece: you're gon na bring it to the front and you're gon na, take your clip and extension and you're going to clip it this way. So obviously, normally you would clip it like that, but you're gon na do it the opposite way. Hopefully you guys can kind of see what i'm doing so. Okay and now i unclip the bottom part, and then you just want to smooth out your hair again and then be careful, obviously you're most likely going to feel the extensions, but just be careful to not pull them so much and sometimes they do stick out. So you just like kind of try to hide them. Now, i'm just going to take a regular hair tie. You can use whatever you'd like you, can use a scrunchie um, a cute little scrunchie, i'm going to use a regular hair tie because i'm going to cover it up and i'm going to show you guys how i do that. So you want to make sure that you lean down a little bit, so i i like to look down when i do this um, because i feel like that way. The tension is more up high, since i do want it up high. So now you just kind of want to adjust it i like to loosen to loosen it up a little bit. Okay. So now what i do to cover up the hair tie is i take a little piece of hair from the back and all you're gon na? Do is wrap it and then you're going to take a bobby, pin and just pin it back there, and this is pretty much when you just like look at it touch it up, see if you need to re-curl some pieces to make sure it like all blends. Um i like to take a little bit of lay right pomade, i get it from amazon and then i just like to kind of smooth down the edges, and i use one of these little toothbrush teasing little combs, and then i like to go in with my Masterpiece hairspray by bed head. I love this hairspray go over everything to make sure everything is super sleek, another little tip that you can do um. You obviously don't need to do this. Usually i don't do this is if you make your hairline appear a little bit. Crispier um by using a eyeshadow, my hair is brown, so i'm gon na use like a brownish eyeshadow and then i just like you can pretty much just tap in any little tiny, bald spots that you have and i'm just gon na go over and curl a Couple parts that i feel like need to blend in more make sure your extensions, your extension color blend in as much as possible, like this is a pretty good match like this is literally my natural hair, and then these are the extensions. So you can't really tell, and now what you can do is just hair spray. It give it a little bit more volume and fluff it up. Sometimes what i also like to do to blend to help blend everything is taking my comb and then you want to like kind of brush up and tease your hair, and it also helps give it more volume. You can take your shine spray, um heat, protect it and then just so, your hair looks nice and shiny. Okay, you guys so that concludes today's video. I really hope you guys enjoyed it. Let me know what you guys would like to see next. Thank you. So much for giving me this video idea. I spent a ton of money on some hair care (just recently wen blond) but my hair is still dry after I blow dry it :( I got: Redken Protein Complex Shampoo It’s a 10 Miracle Deep Conditioner It’s a 10 Miracle leave-in Silk Redken Play Safe heat protectant (the store I went to was out of the AG Firewall) And I also got olaplex hair Perfector (haven’t used it yet) So on my wash days I use my deep conditioner as my “regular” conditioner, then I use my leave in & heat protectant before I blow dry. What else do you recommend I get, to help?! Thank you so much in advance!
