Luxy Hair Extensions Review | Classic Auburn Red

Hi guys welcome back to my channel for today's video I'm going to be talking about hair and I just been keeping my hair in a bun so much as of lately and just hiding it underneath wigs and I kind of just want to. I don't know I just I'm bored with my hair and I wanted to do something different, so I decided to get new extensions and these are from Lexie hair. I have reviewed two previous extensions from them. I think I have reviewed the 28 inch dark brown extensions and I also reviewed recently the 16 inch dirty blonde hair extensions. So if you guys haven't watched those I'll go ahead and link those videos towards the end of the video in case, you guys want to see my reviews and thoughts on those extensions last year, if you guys weren't with me, I had green hair, and now this Year I wanted to have like Auburn red hair for the fall and moving into Christmas time. I wanted to go with the red hair, so I have the 20 inch classic Auburn red clip in hair extensions. These are 220 grams and yeah. Let'S take a look at them, so I seen on line. Hopefully they match my hair color, I'm pretty sure they're not going to be the exact shade. My hair might be a little bit darker and a little bit more on the red side. When I took a look at the extensions, they look a little bit more Orange. I assume that Auburn red was gon na have more of a red tone, but these look a little bit more on the orange that I'd like I mentioned. So when you open up your box, it has one weft of extensions and it has a little card that goes with the extension in here when you open it up. This card here says read me first, and it says this is one of the pieces of your full set of luxy hair extensions. It'S designed for you to test the color and quality of your new set. You may take it out and it must remain fixed in this card. Please do not wear or style this piece until you decide to keep your set once you're sure about keeping your Lexi's. You can add this piece to your full set located below. If you're not satisfied with the color that you have going on here, then you can ship it back to them, and these do provide you with a return label. So I think that's pretty cool of them to provide you a return label in case you're, not happy, so you keep it on the card right. You don't style it. You place it next to your hair and see if it's a good fit on their website. They weren't gon na have anything similar to mine, so if I have to, I could dye these, but I'm not gon na. Do that, because I kind of know my hair, even though it might be a little bit darker than these hair extensions. Eventually it my hair's gon na start fading with how often I wash it so I know for a fact: it's just gon na end up matching these extensions. So here is what my hair looks like. You guys see that red tone this here has a little bit more of an orange tone. If you guys can see that there here is a close-up of the hair color, we have a really pretty shine to it and they're very, very soft. Again, I'm gon na place it next to my hair. This almost reminds me of like a ginger hair color but yeah. So as I'm as I start to wash my hair color, it's just gon na start fading more and more and eventually it's gon na fade into something like this, and, if not, I don't mind dying. My hair extensions or dyeing my hair to match these hair extensions, but I just kind of wanted to be sure that it was gon na be close to my hair color. So let me see if I can get them to blend in I'm gon na show you guys how they look on my hair, so my hair, I am trying to grow it out right now. I previously cut my own hair into a bob. You guys might have seen my video here on my youtube channel me cutting my own hair right now, it's not straight so it looks a little bit shorter. So let me go ahead and open up this box. This box, by the way, is taped right here so that you're not supposed to open this, so it stays taped and if you decide to keep them, you can go ahead and open up the rest of your hair extensions. So we have a four clip. Weft looks like this here. We actually have two four piece for clip weft and then we have two three clip webs. The demo is a two-piece weft and we have two of them so so far we have six total wefts and then we have four single webs. So they look like this here. Sorry, I got them all taint. I tried to like stuff them back into the box and they're all tangled down so yeah. They have four of these. In total, you have ten west's, and these are two hundred and twenty grams of once again and I believe they are two hundred and twenty dollars for the 20 inch hair extensions. I just know how to get them to look like my actual hair color. Even if the color is not like a perfect match today, I might not be able to do that. I want to show you guys what they look like on me, so I will do that, but they're, probably not gon na, be an exact match, so I'm gon na have to eventually dye them. I don't want to do that in this video. I just want to show you guys how they look, how I apply them and how I style them. So, if you want to see me try these extensions on, I want to get an idea of how long they are on somebody that, like me, I'm 4 foot. 11 and let's just go ahead and jump into this video know, I've had to be like and put you set a phone room step with the night on way in a no. I don't want to be just a little bit about my hair. I wanted a bulky haircut because I have very fine at very thin hair and I just wanted that fullness on my hair. So that's why it looks like this. But if you were to be applying extensions over this, it would just not go because of how bulky it is. So what I like to do is section out my hair. Just this crown area, and you just can see how thin my hair is in this area. It'S kind of growing out because I'm taking vitamins girl, so I'm gon na take a little bit of a thicker section right here only because I hardly have any hair on this side. This side is a whole different story. I have more hair right here. I'M gon na just take this hair away. I'M gon na clip it aside and then with the rest of this hair. Here, I'm gon na be braiding it and moving it towards the back. So just go on with your braid girl. Hopefully you can braid so once I've done that it doesn't have to be perfect, just make sure you're getting it away. I'M going to tie it right there and then do the same exact thing to this side of it head. It really does not have to be perfect. Not only does this here help with making your extensions blend, but it also protects it from heat, because you're only gon na be putting heat on this top area. So I'm just taking a bobby pad and I'm going to pin this down like so and just make sure that these little things are pinned down as well. Okay! So now, once I have that done, I'm going to take the three clip weft and I'm going to be applying that to the bottom right down. Here I'm going to take the second three click left and I'm going to be applying that up here you can just apply them randomly on your head now taking the four-piece wet, I'm going to apply that the second four piece or clip weft there we go now Taking the two clip left, I'm gon na put this right on top of the braid and that braid kind of helps the extensions stay put so just like that. I'M gon na grab a single weft and then place it right. On top of that one, then I'm going to take the second single clip weft and I'm going to apply this right underneath the other one just so that it kind of frames the face right here repeat the same exact thing over here, just like that. Okay, so now we release this top part, and this is the only part that you're gon na be styling, so I'm gon na turn on my straightener. This here is the eye on one stroke: volumizing a straightener looks like this here and it does have different settings for you to apply heat. I'M gon na just keep it at 350 degrees and let that heat up for a little bit, I'm also gon na part. My hair right down the middle so that I can bring some of the hair that usually falls on this side over here, because I don't have any hair here and we want to cover up those tracks. So I'm gon na be doing here. Cuz, I'm gon na grab a strand of my hair with the extensions I'm gon na grab the straightener and just kind of bring it in this way. Like so just one time and then I'm gon na grab my ear, the bangs and then just kind of give it a little bit of Perle at the end that so the hair extensions do have a curl towards the bottom. My hair is a little bit too short, so I'm just kind of straightening it and making it go with the extensions see it's almost going like the color kind of matches, sort of not really but kind of my hair right here is so short. It doesn't grow past that length like the I don't know it just breaks off after it. Certainly so I'm gon na be grabbing at this front part so that it doesn't look so big and just tuck it behind my ear like so I grabbed it a little bit too much, but I'm gon na attempt this little part behind. There then bring the other hair forward, so that is how I get my hair extensions to kind of blend in my hair. Color, as you guys know, is from red. It'S gon na start fading out to an orange color and they're gon na match a little bit better, but it doesn't look so bad, like you guys. It almost looks like I'm gon na quickly apply a bra so that I can show you guys what it looks like cuz. I got no bra girl, alright guys. So these are the extensions and they come right down to my waist. I am 4 foot. 11. Don'T forget that you guys so you look like I'm gon na put some of my hair to the back and then just keep the fret extensions in the front. So you guys can get an idea of how thick they are here. We are in the back. That is what they are looking like. I just love having. Why do I cut my hair? I don't know I don't know. I will never know again. These are the classic auburn red hair extensions.
