Hey guys welcome back to my Channel today, I'm gon na do kind of a repeat video, but I think it'll be better. My second youtube video ever was my how I put in hair extensions and or something like that, but you know it was very very like no talking nothing and I did the trick. I think, but I can kind of talk you through it today woke up and I was like you know what I have not worn my extensions and such a long time. I'M like. Let'S do it again: let's do this better um, so this is complete bedhead guys. This is yep, that's what that is. There is mmhmm yeah, so I've decided I'm gon na just keep it this way. I'M gon na do the extensions i'm going to show you how I do that and i use the remy hair human hair. This is a bunch of them together, um he's a bleached out. These are the one inch. I believe I've had these guys for about two years, and you know if you wear them daily. If you take really really good care of them and not over wash them not you know, I'm just brushing them out hold the tops and brush them out. These can. Last, a very long time I mean, I don't want to say forever, but I mean it potentially could you know just depends how they're treated and how they're stored - and I really like doing this - I have done the I tip extensions, which are the ones that are Like the ends of them, almost look like shoelace ends. You know that, like hard plastic part, and then you link those into your head, you put it in to your real hair, with like a little metal round, um clamp thing or a little metal round thing that clamps you do it with like pliers yeah. My husband did it for me by the way, do a good job, and I you know that's the other thing too is like extensions to go. Get them put in, you know usually you're the one actually bind the hair for one and then you have to pay for someone to do it, which I'm not suggesting. Don'T do it's just I was like you know. I looked on YouTube. How does this work? How do you do it and I found tutorials the people that did themselves to like actually did the clamp in kind like that, and I'm like. I couldn't even imagine what that said. It did show me how to do it, which then i showed my husband have to do with it, and he did it for me and it it was a process like I mean it wasn't that he didn't even do a good job and eventually he got his Rhythm with it, but it took some time and I think I had like 300 pieces in total yeah, I loved it. I loved the look that I got from it. I really did, but I'm the type of person you'll even notice in a lot of my videos in general, I'm not even a huge jewelry person, our necklaces and bracelets, and that kind of thing or earrings like I have some and I wear them as much as I do, but i don't like that like trapped feeling, i guess, is what it is like. So i don't like things on my neck. I don't like things just get it off and I felt like what the hair was. The same I got loose hair. I felt was kind of this, my problem with it I by the end of the night, just like makeup. You know it's fun, it's pretty yay, but by the end of the night, when your time to take it off. Oh, thank you right, and so I just uh it wasn't for me with that said I do still have them, we can redo it and may never say never, but I really really like clip-ins, because they are so fast and I think they really accomplish the same Thing and you can take them off every day, and I like that so yeah, I just brushed these out guys. I don't know if you're going to be able to pick up on it on camera, but i have actually even died. These not all of them, though i did this, i want to say, is the original. That'S the dark brown that it came as, but then i took a couple and died on like a very, very dark, dark brown um and if you compare them to each other, you see the difference, but otherwise all together. It just kind of I wanted to give it a little bit of dimension. Can you tell once darker maybe this one's darker, this one's original? What i recommend with having said that i highly recommend clip-in extensions. I really do get real hair. You know um you're gon na see such a difference in the longevity of them you're going to be able to die them, you're, going to be able to style them and put heat on them and all those things that we do and if you don't go that Route, yes, it is cheaper, but you're, not it's gon na. In my opinion, look that way and you're not gon na be able to do much with it really so and again. Having said that, I do not spend. I don't feel that crazy amount of money - these are just the ones i'm going to use today - that i have for wefts you'll, hear people call them West tracks. You hear a bunch of terms for it, but I'm going to use for of my bigger ones. The longer ones like this has three little clips um. This came, though this set came with, I think 10, but the other ones that are left are a little bit smaller they're like singles even and those are good too, to let kind of put where you feel like it's just a little thinner or whatever, but I Always find that these three to four work for me so um, but i want to say i paid a hundred and forty-four it. I think i think again not saying it's cheap, but again I've had these for two years. I don't have to worry about how I treat them as far as putting heat on them or dying them whatever it is. I'Ve washed them a handful of times, they're still good. I will say when you do wash them, though, can you first get them? They are like silk, they are. They are like silk, but almost to a point of as great as it feels it's almost like. Okay, putting that in my real hair, my real hair is not that silky. So once you do wash them a few times, though, that part does kind of go away, but they're still extremely soft. They just aren't as slick which I kind of prefer, but that's the only real difference that time has done for them. I think I really like these, so I'm going to show you how I put them in and led to my best to give an angle here, but I love doing this yeah. So to start, I'm going to turn around for you guys too, but to start I just have these little like bobby pins in this is what it is. Oh, doesn't have a whole yeah um, I'm going to use like a little claw clip, but you know whatever just to get parts of your hair out of the way. So what I like to do, though, is I like to put up pretty much I'll? Try not to use you guys as my mirror, but might end up being that way. I like to put up most of my hair and you're gon na kind of like Kyle you're gon na do a ponytail. Let me turn around, so it should be something like this. Okay, all they are. Is they go like this just like that? Just remember those old Brett's that every girl had to wear kind of like that, and what we're gon na do is we're just going to put that right on our our hair line there so make sure they're all open. First, I'm just going to feel around until I know where I'm at kind of like that, you got your first layer of it and it's now mixed in with your real hair, when you clip them in start with the middle clip, because if you start over here Or on this side it's going to be harder to like gauge. Did I get it more in the center of my head, not the end of the world, but I mean, if you're trying to you know, get it into a certain spot. That will help a lot. Then one pole down here and do the same thing just a little bit higher my hair holds these and you'll feel like it feels kind of funny. Just reek lip it you, probably just when you pull down your hair. Maybe one got stuck, you know um. If you have really really fine hair and really really silky hair, you may want to kind of tease that section that you're going to put it on because that'll help let this like stick into it. Mine doesn't really slip on me or anything um that I've noticed or had a problem with in the past. So I'm okay, but that's a good trick to definitely do if needed. You know guys. I didn't pre do anything to my hair. Like I mean, like, I said this bed head um, I'm gon na, probably curl it a little bit, but I'm going to wait till we're all done. This one is still a three clip type, but it is a little bit longer like wider, and so I'm going to use that one where next, because it's kind of the biggest part of my head and so it'll kind of cover more ground. But let me show you so yeah I have the first layer and then I pull down some more hair, so then go and do the same thing on this one you go and guys they don't have to be like perfectly put in there. As far as oh that one's a little lower that one's a little higher it doesn't matter, you're, not gon na see it at all. So just oh you're really wanting is to make sure that it feels okay to you, cuz really. You should feel like there's something there, but it shouldn't really bother you at all. So keep that in mind. I think that my hair is a little bit like that. I'Ve layered it so much like it's a little bit thinner than normal, so that I'm used to. I may not even get all four of these in we'll see. Do the same thing, and the only thing is once you start getting to like towards the top the crown of your head and stuff. Like you know, you just want to make sure you're hiding these, where they're clipped in as much as you can so make sure you leave enough hair to go fall over it. You know I'm gon na take this darker one. Why not I'm just gon na? Do it right here, guys you get it, you get it not throw the hair of the candle, but I love doing this. I really do it just how it lately and done much with my hair. Lately, hmm and then you can even kind of go over and brush, obviously don't get in there at the root. You know um, but you can totally brush it. It'S it'll stay. It'S actually probably good test to do just to make sure that it is adhered as much as you want it to be. Now i will say for someone like me where my hair is extremely layered and choppy. If i was to straighten these completely pin straight, you know, i think it totally work. It'S just. I think it's a little bit more noticeable, then that you have extensions, but when you curl it and it doesn't have to be like curly curly curly, but just give it a little body to it. You don't know at all. You cannot it's fun. A lot of people do this to not even for length, but just for thickness. They may have like identical length hair, but it's very thin and they want more body to it. So you could totally do this for that as well. Be CU. Chi see it's long eat so then drink. I'M, not i'm going to use this. Fourth one. I think I'm good um, but I'm gon na. I think just give it a little bit of curl to it. My even a lot just a little bit just to kind of tame down my hair, it's bad, i'm just i'm grabbin part, my hair part, not my hair he'll, actually, maybe even see right there. That'S that's me. That'S not! I have curled these like a ton and I've had like myself a curls man in it they're very pretty, I'm not used to curling this long of hair. What else can I tell you what we go through this yeah see? I can see the color differences in there. I don't know if you're gon na pick it up or not, but I kind of liked that too, when I did diet months ago, you know you could totally like sleep in these. I I don't um. I don't think most people do, but you could I mean you could um, but I think again for like longevity of keeping them, you don't really want to. You know that's the kind of stuff that's gon na make, probably them shed a little bit faster and therefore not last as long um. Could you lose a few hairs out of it when you brush them out, you'll see a couple came out and it's I don't know, but as much as it doesn't even look very thick and stuff there's a lot of hair in there. There is so don't freak out, Oh for that, but over time eventually you may need to get new ones. I just haven't yet well, like I said I don't wear them, often just cuz. I don't technically do my hair that often that's the truth and a few of my Lake very first youtube videos I have. I was wearing these. I think yeah a few, but my hair was even a little longer than two, because i have recently semi recently cut it. The other thing with, like the i tip extensions you know so the pro to that real, quick, the pro to having the type that, like kind of like you, would hear in whether they're like tape in kind. I'Ve never done but tape in or the little like, clamp min type thing. You know the pro is that you have them. You know they're. Always there you wake up with it in it. Your it's you con is that it's always with you. You know like it's: is you know the first night when I tried to sleep with them? Mmm, oh, my god, I hated it. You do get used to it, you do and it does your head sore and everything just from being picked at. You know, um. Sorry no sub weird angle, because I'm trying to like do this in like this tiny. What I think is also kind of a con of it, though too you're, basically adhering those types to like half inch to an inch from your route where your hair begins right. So what happens your hair grows, and you have to go, get them tightened, will say, maintain as you kind of have to basically go through that process. Again and again, and you know people can make it shorter or longer than others. It just depends how fast their hair grows, but I just for me, like I went once we my husband in grant. Probably a professional could have done it faster, but it still does take time. It thought one sitting through that, like we actually even did that over two days worth of time, because we couldn't do it in one day's work. We were both exhausted and yeah. So all I good enough um, but you know you can put your hair up in a ponytail like this to all that, but yeah. I just think that, personally, having done each type now, I can see the pros and cons to both, but this is what I like to go to, because it's just so simple and quick. I mean really to put these in, takes a few minutes in reality, and you know now that I've even kind of curled them they'll keep their curl and so the next time they're already kind of curled anyway, and if your hair is already kind of naturally curly. There you go, you know, so I just this is what I like to go to. I want. I got these at Sally's Beauty Supply on my original video that I did doing this. I linked it below I'm assuming they're still available. I will double check and i will link it below if i can find them again, but Sally's and it's the remy hair, it's either 18 or 20 inch extension and again, you can kind of see like boo blanks, basically a little bit below hope. You guys enjoyed this if you have any questions, I'm not like a pro with this, but I have had experience now with kind of both kinds, so yeah leave them in the comments for me thumbs up. If you like these videos or if you want to see more like hair type videos, i am not a pro with hair at all, but i know i really haven't done any hair videos like hairstyles and stuff. So let me know I can do that. I can try, thank you guys so much for watching. Please subscribe if you have not already - and I will see you guys very very soon -
