How to make clips on hair extensions? We would need two piece of lace in this video i'd like to show you a blonde clips on hair extension and the very dark brown clips on hair extension. So we would need two pieces of laces and we would also need some clips and then we would need a wefted hair extensions if you don't know how to weft the hair. I have another tutorial on how to make a weft hair, so these wefts are going to be turned into clips on hair extensions. So we are wide opening our weft hair and then we're gon na be cutting it into a few pieces. And then each piece is preferred 27 centimeters, which is going to be about 10 inches just over 10 inches. So each weft can be cut to as many pieces as you like, but the preferred width of the weft is going to be 10 inches and then you might be uh. You might want to leave one weft with some extra width on it. So uh. Let'S say you are cutting your wefts to 10 inch pieces each one, and then you will have at least one of them to be 11, so one inch wider than the others, and that weft is going to be needed at the end to cover um to use It as a cover you'll see it you'll find out what i mean, but so just keep in mind. You would need one width to be cut one inch wider than the others, so this lace is going to be bent into right on the middle of it like once or twice so, to make sure it's strong enough to hold the wefts on it. So further we're gon na be sewing the wefts right on to these lace. We would need to shoot this lace few times, usually like eight times horizontally and then maybe a few more times vertically. You don't need to look for any special laces. Just any lace is going to work the most importantly, you would need to make sure that you've got the color matching place so for the blonde hair you want blonde color lace and for the dark brown hair you would want dark brown color place and it's such Fun and this lace is available through amazon or ebay. You can find easily no problem, it's pretty cheap, the uh widths and the lengths of the lace i will put on the screen in a moment. So you know what dimensions to aim when you're cutting it into piece. The most important thing is also the thread you are gon na use, color matching a thread to lace and hair. So in this video we are using now very light, blondish color thread. So now we are done with securing the lace uh and, as you see, we have about eight piece of these wefts and the short width. Uh weft is gon na be uh soon. First, we would start from bottom to top. So what i mean is we have eight wefts and then the first, the shorts wide the shorts with weft is going to be soon first and then the second one and then the third one and end so you know so on. So please look at here. We are uh starting shooting right in the middle of the lace. You could do it. You could start sewing the weft on higher up on the lace or lower below on the lace, but i prefer on this situation to start with right in the middle and then the rest is gon na go top toes up, as you see in here now. Second, weft is being added slightly higher than the first one slightly higher like uh, like you know, steps like first step and then second step and then third step. You know what i mean: it's you don't put every left on top of each other. You never do that, but you go first and second left is going to be sewn that way, so they are not on top of each other, but they are very close to each other. You should not shoot them on top of each other, never ever because it doesn't right. You know it doesn't look right and it won't be right. On the clips on here, it's going to become very thick. You know those portion, those lace. So what you do is you go first one and then the second one and then the third one all is gon na, be very closely tightly uh, soon, uh next to each other yeah exactly next to each other, but not on the top of each other. Well, usually, it's better to shoot the weft twice on the lace, and that should be way enough. It'S gon na hold it very well on the lace. Now, if you see in here, we are sewing vertically from top to bottom uh, when you have attached most of your wefts, i would say most not all so, let's say in my case, we have in here eight piece of wefts and we already attached five of Them yes, five of them, and now we are doing this vertical stitches. Why? You would need to do this? Well simply because it's going to hold the wefts on the lace, even more secure, even better, you know, so you simply wide open the hairs on the left. Just please take a look. What is she doing and then go from top to bottom vertical line, so this is going to make sure that you are simply applying extra. You know extra, i would say you know strains on holding the wefts together and and also on the lace and also later we will be attaching clips on the weft itself. So this is going to help us a lot, so this is very recommended. You know you would need a few vertical lines like in here. We did like six or seven, i believe yeah vertical lines and once you've done with vertical lines, you can go ahead and then attach the rest of the wefts on the lace. As i told you, you usually sew it double times, every weft needs double. You know stitches on them, so that's gon na hold it very. You know strongly on the lace. So by now we have attached seven pieces out of eight on the lace and now this is the last piece. So the last piece, if you remember it, was slightly wider than the rest of the pieces. So you see the edges it's gon na, be we need uh, those slight uh extra widths uh on the edges on both edges. In this way, the last weft is covering the whole weft. You know what i mean uh. It just makes slightly. You know um nicer a bit better. You know more beautiful with this covering stuff. It'S just you know it covers all the rest of the wefts. So if you leave the last weft slightly wider than the others, it's going to help a lot so and then you just you know, attach it on the lace and you've done. You know you've done it. It'S gon na look very beautiful nice smooth soft wefted hair. I mean clips on here well without clips, yet so further on, we will be attaching clips on this wefts. So this result blonde hair and - and this is our very dark brown hair - we do exactly the same steps exactly the same methods on the dark brown hair. Besides, we have a very dark brown lace and very dark brown thread other than that everything's exactly the same one by one, each step each method. So there is no need for me to uh. You know show you another uh, 20 minutes of video, because it's gon na be repeating itself now. Let me show you how we attach the clips on the left collection for now. So now you see, we will be attaching five clips on this weft. In order to attach this clips on the weft, we would need to take two wefts high up and rubber them and then the rest of the weft states on its um on its way. You know so you just lift up two of the wefts. Usually two is enough: you don't need more than that. You see she's, just lifting two lifts upwards and the rest is just staying on its own uh way and then we will be attaching clips um. It'S better to look at the way she does it foreign. As you see on this clip, it's got like uh one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight or nine uh holes. Well, you could use every hole. You could fill them up with the thread. However, you don't have to because usually uh you don't need that many holes to be. You know stitched with a thread. However, i do prefer uh doing it all the way, all the holes so because this weft is going to be used for at least a year or so it's going to be washed. It'S going to be uh, you know colored, uh, toner, etc. So the person who's going to use this west she's going to really uh. You know, use it a lot so that that's the only reason i i'm um sewing this uh clip onto the weft. Very, very you know securely, i'm just using every hole that it it's got. You know on it, so every hole is going to be soon through 2d. Weft and you'll see it, and this way we will be attaching five of such clips and 5 is usually way enough. So, as you see, we start from one end to another. So when you have two clips attached on the hair on both ends, then it's gon na be very easy to attach the rest on the middle. So that's usually how we do it, but again you know uh, you may do it on your own method. On your own way, there is no uh requirements to do it. This way there are all kinds of ways to do it, but it's just the preferred way and then you see, we've got now the middle one um being attached on the hair weft, and then we will do two more on those empty space on both sides and By the way, there are all kind of uh clips offered on the market. The one i'm attaching right now on here is considered to be one of the best one uh, because it holds the weft on the head. Very you know securely and, as you see in here, it's got 11 pins 11 teeth. This is one of the best one. However, there are other ones also offer like 90s. Sometimes you would see it with 16 or even three. Well, those ones are a bit weaker than this ones. I prefer you know using this one, and it's just you know, uh been experienced within these years that this most you know, clients. They do prefer this one, even though it's uh lightly uh, slightly larger in its dimensions than the other clips. You know, however, the whole purpose of the clips is to hold the weft on your head, and this one does its job pretty well. So by now, we've done attached all of them and now spread some pure water. On the clips on hair extension. Now we can call it clips on hair extension and then comb, the hair, detangle them nicely smoothly and then one more thing left. Can you guess it? What do you think well for those who guessed it? Congratulations! Yes, you're right, we will have to cut the excess uh. You know amount of these lays so we don't need all those um left and right portions. So, let's remove them, let's get rid of them. It'S not going to look very nice on the head, so you know nicely start cutting them off. You can leave it as much as possible. There is no any other rules on here, but the main purpose of the lace is to hold the hair wefts together. It also covers covers those hair weft lines. If we now remove the lace, we will see eight rows of wefts and also they've got their birds. You know those small tiny returns, so lace holds those birds, and if we didn't have lace, then it could be itchy on the head because of those returns. Those birds so lays in this way works as a layer of protection. You know between those returns, birds and in the head so and also we've got these clips attached on the lace through those hair wefts also, and then that's it. You know once you remove the unnecessary portion unnecessary parts of the lathe, then that's it. It'S ready ready ready, so we do exactly the same. You know steps exactly the same methods. Only black, i mean very dark brown hair and yes, it's ready now. This hair clips on hair weft extension can be colored washed toned, no bleaching. You can't bleach it because it's already bleached and do whatever you want with that, except for bleaching, so now uh going back to our dark brown hair. Yes, as i told you many times, we do exactly the same. You know similar steps on here, and the only thing is: please pay attention to the color of clip and the color of lace and, very importantly, the color of thread, so the colors must match with the hair other than that everything is going to be exactly the Same so, there's no much comments on here. So now we have our weft our clips on hair extension. So it's got now new name clips on hair extension. It'S not a weft anymore! So now we've got these clips on hair extensions, ready on hand. It can be washed, it can be worn and i just wanted to say thank you so much for your attention and for watching this video and hope you enjoyed it and stay safe. Please stay safe. That'S very, very, very, very, very importantly, thank you. Bye. You
