First Hair Color Ever | Red Hair Color | Cassandra Olivia

Hello and welcome back everyone. It is your girl, Cassandra, Olivia back with a tutorial for you guys now, if you're on my membership, you've already seen this so disregard. All of that so like get in where you fit in, so I have my client here. Monty she's been coming to me for a long time um. So it's like 2014 2015-ish somewhere around then, and this is actually her first hair color. Ever she is natural and she went away for college and she decided to come back. She wanted to do a nice bright red color, so I am going in with some blonde Me by Schwarzkopf and I'm also going to go in with some Wella Color touch. This is a six volume as well as some olaplex, and I'm just going to mix that together and what I'm going to do is just lift her hair all over. So I am going to start and just part, her hair in the four sections I'm going to start in the back right section, and then I am going to start to work my way from about a quarter inch away from the root all the way to the Ends and then we are going to save the roots for absolute last, so make sure whenever you are doing color you are using olaplex. It is pricey it's 200 for the starter kit, but there is another kit: that's 65 dollars for the traveling stylus and I highly recommend it because you can add that onto your service and it does make a huge difference when it comes to like the Integrity of Your client's hair, so if you are going to do color, make sure you're doing it right and you're doing it thoroughly. You do not want to cause damage to your client's hair, and this is why I can charge a little bit more because not only am I doing a great job with the color service, but I'm also making sure that my client's hair is nice and healthy and Starting in February, I will be posting a whole bunch of reels and um not reels. What are they called on here, shorts, so be on the lookout. For that, I have a ton that I post on Instagram and some that I haven't even edited yet, but I um wasn't gon na post them until I started getting paid so now that that is in full effect. You guys will see that starting February. So I will be adding clients that have like, before and after color and showing you guys how their hair is grown out and every behind that has come to me that has taken care of their hair and listened to my advice. Hair is really really nice and healthy and thriving, and you can have healthy natural hair with color um. Don'T listen to people that say color will make your hair fall out. It can only make your hair fall out if you're not doing it correctly and if you're not taking care of it. So I'm just going to apply this lightener all over just watch. So I just did the same thing for all four sections and then once I was done, I did go ahead and hit her Roots, which you see me doing here and I'm just cross checking any section. You just want to make sure that um, depending on the brightness of the red that you want, will determine how much lift you get so mommy wanted like a pretty bright red, so I just gave her like a lift to about a level seven, but if they Want it brighter, you can do like an e I'll say you don't have to take it too light unless you prefer that or if they want it darker. I would take her to like around a level five or six, so it really just depends on the client and what their desired end result. Is she let me freestyle. She just showed me a picture of what she wanted and then we took it from there and I always add my little flare on there. So in today's video I am going to be using joyco Color. I'Ve used this before. I just don't think I've used it on my channel. If I have please don't quote me, I do a lot of color on here and I don't remember everything that I've done, but I don't remember using joycoat on here. I do remember using like Pravana, but I'm just going in with joyco passion, Berry red and the shade Ruby. So it is three different shades and I'm just going to put these in my frame marbles. They actually click together, but I didn't think of clicking them together. In this video, for whatever reason so inside the red, I'm just adding in some passion, Berry and then that darker red that you see in the back is Ruby Red and I'm just mixing this to a nice consistency. And then I will be applying this all over money, while she's at the bowl. Now I did put olaplex number two in her hair. I can't remember if I did that on camera here, but just know that I always use olaplex number one and two together. They are a team, so now I'm just applying this red in her hair. There is a reason why I part of this a certain way, but again I explained that thoroughly in my membership, but just watch the application and then I will come back shortly to show you guys the end result - and I did let this sit for about 25 - To 30 minutes just so it can get a nice saturation and then once that was done, I did rinse her out and use some leaf and flour um. What is it? The molecular mender and I also use the molecular oil as well as olaplex number six. You just want to make sure that you're being thorough and just making sure that the hair is healthy throughout the whole entire process, so just enjoy me applying this red and I will be back shortly. I lie so in case I forgot to mention I am going in with my frame our products, so I like to use my framar products when I'm doing color. It is my favorite brand. By far I've been using framework for a long time. I haven't really used anything else since I started doing color so um they're just very consistent. I love their customer service and I just love their company in general and they're. Just amazing people like I love watching their tick, tocks and everything just very down to earth. Very personable and relatable, but I am using the frame or pink Paws, and I'm also using The Fray, more power painter brush, which you see right here, and I also use the frame our backwards bibs, as well as like that framework tray frame. Our bowls, like y'all, get the gist. So if you have not already check out Fremont's website, they have some really really cute products and I actually just ordered their collab that they're doing or not collab their collection that they're doing for Valentine's Day and they're. Doing like those candy hearts, and they look so freaking cute, so I just ordered some of those as well as some more of their um. I can't remember if it's like Moon, foils or like Galaxy, I forget what they are, but I just ordered whatever the last two launches were um. They did send me some, but I didn't have a chance to open it, but I just ordered some more because they are the cutest foils ever and I just love collecting, Fairmont foils and just using different foils for different clients and just having like a nice variety Of I don't know just personality added to my services. I feel like that's one of the things that makes my job fun just having a little bit of fun with it and adding a little bit of like my own personal Flair but um yeah. Now you guys can enjoy this application. I will be back in just a second foreign foreign foreign foreign, foreign, foreign foreign foreign, and in case you guys are wondering towards the end. I stopped trying to be really cute with it and I just started applying this with my hands um. You can do this. If you want you don't have to, you can definitely use a brush me, I'm a turnip, so I want to make sure it's in there. So I went in with the brush first and then I decided like okay. Let me just run this through my fingers and here's how it looks when she's all blow dried um. I did take my gloves off towards the end, because I was rushing and I know you guys see the red on the back of her neck. I am going to use a color white by framar as well and make sure I remove that after her service was done. I kind of forgot to do it on camera, but just know I do that for every client I run the nape of their neck and around their hairline, and I'm just going in with my custom flat irons. They are currently sold out. I'M not sure if I want to bring them back or not, but I'm just pressing her hair out and I'm using some heat protectant by influence the S3 spray and as well as the leaf and flower molecular oil, and I did use the um olaplex number. Six. Prior to blow drying, so our hair is very protected and now I'm just going in and just pressing her hair on sections and then I'm going to add some really big curls and then show you guys her end result. Part, her hair out and curl it. I did trim her ends as well, because Monty didn't need a trim, but that is on my membership. I'M just going to cut right to The Styling for this video, but um yeah, I'm just going to curl her style. Her up I'm getting ready to get back to work, but I just wanted to post this on here before I post the newer videos, because this one I did a while back and I need to just catch up on my content.
