Hey guys, what's up it's a girl, cam and welcome back to my channel and if you're new here then welcome, and I really hope that you join the cam fam by hitting that subscribe button down below, especially because, as I kind of revealed in my previous video, I'M gon na be doing a really big 500 subscriber giveaway and I'm not quite there yet, but I really want to send all these amazing prizes to one of my happy campers, so I love it if you'd subscribe and then get to be a part of that Giveaway that will probably be happening very soon, so today's a little bit of a different video for me, I'm like not quite used to, I guess you could say filming my intro right off the bat. I did want to show you the before of my hair and yes, this is gon na, be another hair video, but basically uh. So let me tell you this story. I'Ve wanted extensions for years, probably and first of all, like usually they're very expensive, so I'm not like willing to drop Jen multiple hundreds of dollars on something, especially you know, if I'm not sure, if I'm gon na, like it or not - and I would say that Probably also like the biggest thing that was holding me back all these years from getting extensions, is that, like, I wasn't sure how to color match my hair, you know. Obviously I know what level hair dye I use, but I don't know like what exact color that corresponds with regarding hair extensions like, for example, the ones that I got were 613 and I use a level twelve hair color. So it was very confusing for me not to mention the fact that every single company seems to have like a different color range, and so every company is like different blondes were all like very unique from each other. Obviously, the best way that they suggest to color match your hair is to order one of their color rings. But I got ta be honest, like I was too cheap to do that and I didn't want to get a color ring having none of the colors match and then be stuck with it, and so for the longest time. I just kind of eighty-sixed it and was like I'm just not gon na get extensions. I'M gon na try to grow my hair out and it's not bad like you can see that just these ends are thinner and it's really hard to get the volume that you want. Sometimes, and just you know, I've always wanted have these along princess mermaidy locks, and so I decided to go for it and take the plunge, and I ordered the Bellamy Bel Air 20-inch extensions, and these are in the color Beach blonde. So another thing that I kind of wanted to avoid with getting clip-in extensions, because I'm definitely not ballin enough to go and get like a semi-permanent set for a thousand dollars, or something like that. So one issue that I had is the fact that a lot of times there's a lot of wets and I was just scared about placement of them and it being heavy throughout the day and, to be honest, like I wasn't sure that I would like that. So when I saw this kind of like halo extension style, where you have like the thin band and then really just the one piece that you need to use, I figured that that might be the best compromise for me as far as getting something like a clip. Inset, but for it to be really quick and easy and not require a lot of different pieces, so I already opened up this bottom portion, which I'm going to take out, and this is basically like the set comes with these two little side pieces. Just in case, you want more fullness in the front, and so this is these two pieces, and this is what they recommend that you open up, first, just to make sure that what you ordered is indeed a really good color match for you. So, as you can see, this basically looks identical to my hair color, so I'm definitely like kind of calmed down about. Finally, finding a really good color match and part of what helped me is, I actually like, ended up going to a wig store. That also had like weft of extensions, and I did notice that my hair was very close to like the six thirteen platinum blonde that they had there. Some of them were like an exact match like this and a little more on the golden side, and some of them were a little like whiter, and I just figured that I would order these because they looked like light enough, but also having that golden undertone to Them to match - and I figured worst-case scenario if they didn't match, then I would just give my hair a bleach bath to lighten it up a little bit bump it up and then hope it would match. But I'm so glad I don't have to do that and it looks like it's a really good match. Now I will say my hair might be looking a little cool toned because I just did my roots this morning, and so I don't know if you can see it's kind of looking a little bluish and cool toned. But that's literally gon na fade in probably like one or two washes it kind of just comes down and I would say brasses up a little bit more, so I'm definitely not concerned about this being a good color match. So I just want to point out that if you do get this set, I don't know about their other sets. There is a sticker here that says warranty void if removed. So basically, you do want to open up the bottom color match yourself. First and now we can break this sticker all right, so I just want to warn you guys like. I am in no means a hair extension expert and, like I said this is my very very first time even trying them on so this is definitely not a all about hair extensions and how to apply them right. It'S actually gon na be more of like a first impressions and kind of how beginner-friendly is this and whether, if you've been on the fence of getting extensions or not whether it is something that you want to consider and something that you'll get the hang of right Away, basically, alright, so the first step on the back of this says to horizontally divide your hair above the ears leaving bangs out and top not the sectioned hair. So I'm just gon na do a section at the top of my hair off now I do want to mention that I'm not going to be doing the second step, which says to tease your hair below the part. I definitely never ever tease my hair. I kind of like think that it's super damaging any time. I'Ve done it, it's just not in my hair and been a disaster, maybe if, like your hair, is really really thick. It could not be broken off by doing that, but I think especially if you're, like a light blonde like me and dye your hair a lot, I wouldn't really recommend to using your hair. So I'm not gon na. Do that and I don't I'm gon na - have a problem with it clipping in so I'm just gon na go straight into the next step, alright, so the next step says to bring the clear wire over the top knot and adjust a size. So basically, this is what the set looks like. It'S got a clear wire here, I'm going to flip this over and kind of bring that wire over the front. Okay. I know that crazy right now, I'm hoping this works out all right, so I'm clipping it to my hair in the back right now. Alright, so I just clipped this all around and now I'm going to take this top part and put it down and then I'm just kind of gon na pull my hair over the wire to blend it in. Oh, my gosh, I look crazy. Did I do this right? Oh my gosh, okay. I definitely feel like I have to brush these out, so I'm gon na do that. First, okay, so starting at the bottom, because this was like already pre curled, I'm just gon na brush through this, and I feel like I may have to like kind of curl it with my hair to meld it together. We'Ll see - and I do kind of feel like it's sliding around a little bit as I'm brushing it, so I'm probably gon na want to read just this. Considering it's my first time, I probably did it wrong. So let's see okay, and so I think I finally got the hang of it, and I do have to admit that, like my biggest fear, especially with this belt air set with the string, is that the string would be visible. But I got to be honest with you guys, like I really don't even see where it is, and I thought that it would be really hard to like. You know, pull your hair through it and not have it create a line of like separation through your hair. Basically, but it's not, and so overall, I just feel like it's definitely like you can't see where the string is especially with having like on here like this, I feel like. Maybe if you had darker hair, then the clear string would be more visible, but here I don't see it at all and I don't kind of have any like you know visible lines through my hair as to where the string is, and that was a big fear Of mine, so that's good um. I think what I'm gon na do now. I don't know, like I said, I'm not an expert on this. It'S kind of like go through it with a curling iron and just like blend my hair with it a little bit better. So I'm gon na do that real, quick and so, as my wand is heating up, I did want to point out that I still have these two little like side pieces, but I just feel like this is already a lot of hair and it's gon na. Take some getting used to for me, so I'm not quite ready to clip those in yet you do have that option, but I'm just gon na rock this and see how it goes. Basically, alright. So I am using the thirty two millimeter attachment on my nume octa wand and I'm just basically going to curl this hair together a little bit just to help blend it in alright yeah. Now that I have that a little more blended in it's definitely looking a lot better as opposed to this side, I feel like okay, so I feel like that looks a lot better. Now that I went through with my curling iron and just kind of like you know, tried melding them together um, I will say I feel like this piece is sticking out a little bit, and so I definitely recommend putting a little more hair up in that top Knot that I first did just to have a little more hair covering this um, but I don't feel like it's that big of an issue and yeah I mean, let me know what you guys think I'm just kind of like not used to this. I definitely feel like Rapunzel. I can tell you that I'm really loving this I'm starting to get used to it. It'S really not feeling very heavy on my hair, but I'm a little bit scared that there's a bump back here. Okay, so basically, I ended up seeing this for like the second or third time now, because I just wanted to put more of my own hair above the extensions just to help blend the edge. And so I'm going to show you what it looks like from the back now, keep in mind that I have not like waved the top of my hair quite as much as these extensions are so obviously I have to do a better job as far as that Goes to go end it, but this is what it looks like I feel like. I could probably still try to do a better job blending them, but you know it's probably a learning curve. So overall, I do feel like there's a little bit of, like I've said a learning curve as far as using these. These are a lot of hair. I actually like kind of pre-measured in my hair and from the top of my head. It was about 20 inches. So I wasn't expecting these to be like that much longer than my hair. But overall I really really like this. I wasn't expecting this to be quite as long as it is, and I do feel like I need to style these a little bit better, especially in the back, but that's just something that I'm gon na have to learn how to do, and so I definitely think That it's gon na take a little bit of getting used to it's, not that I would say that I feel weight on my hair, but I'm very self-conscious about just like you know the weft showing through. So that's something that I'm definitely gon na have to get used to and yeah. Overall, I think the color match is really good. I'M pleasantly surprised if anything where I just did my roots is a little bit light so once that brass is up a little bit, it's definitely gon na do a better job of matching the rest of this. So yeah again I don't know much about hair extensions, but this does feel like really good quality hair. I probably would still want to put an oil through the ends just to make them feel extra silky but yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed my unboxing review and me trying to figure out how to apply all this deep hair. I don't know how else to say it. This is over Jer, oh yeah. I love it. I just so glamorous and Lux, and I think that you know if you've been wanting to grab your hair and can't or you know, just want to keep your hair short and have the option of having a super long hair like this set is great. But overall I really like it like the ends. Look super thick and healthy, especially compared to my hair, and so let me know what you guys think if you have any pointers on how to work this and use this again. This is my very first time ever applying any sort of hair extension and I don't think I did a terrible job. I'M not the most impressed with what I've done in the back here, but hopefully I'll work on that and yeah. I really hope that you guys enjoyed this video by the way I did just become a new me affiliate, which, like I can't believe it's essentially the first brand that I'm working with and that like I've chosen to work with, and so I'm really excited, they actually Gave me my own code, which is cam 25 for 25 % off, and you can see it in the link below in the description bar all right. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video, and hopefully this helped you, especially if you've been on the fence. As to whether you should get extensions or not, I know that I'm really really happy with the fact that I did because I feel like this is a look that I just can't get. No matter like how much I grow out my hair, how to buy it, and I take how much olaplex I use in my hair. I would never be able to get my hair to this point. Basically, so I'm really happy and excited, and yet hopefully I can work out a few of the kinks in the back. But thank you guys so much for watching this video. If you liked it, if you found it helpful, then definitely hit that like button down below for me and as always, I'm gon na leave you with a couple more videos by me that you can check out and if you haven't already you've been definitely click on.
