How To: Dye Your Bellami Hair Extensions

Just a little DIY on how to dye your hair extensions by yourself at home. Why buy new ones when you can dye them? I DO NOT recommend bleaching them however, only go darker.

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel today, I'm just gon na show you how I did when I dye my hair extensions as well as my own hair, and this is actually pretty simple and you can do it with any real hair extensions that you have And I'm not gon na talk too much, I'm just going to jump straight into the video. So you want to start with your hair extensions. I am using the sterling silver from Bellamy, which are the ones that I used when I had silver / gray, / blonde hair and you're. Also gon na want to use a brush or ask me a tangle teezer just to brush out your hair, making sure that you don't have any knots or anything and I'm also using a little brush just to more easily apply any hair color and making it more. Even for the color I'm using L'Oreal pony's Feria, you can use any hair color that you prefer, or you can buy your own mix and I'm also using a few drops of all the place into my hair. Color is to make sure that I don't get any kind of damage that is unnecessary for both my own hair and my hair extensions. So you're gon na want to just protect your for lay out a plastic bag or plastic wrapper, or anything that you have around. It'S not you, know important and, as you can see, I'm just brushing out my extensions and laying them flat onto the plastic bag, starting with the tops and working. My way up is how you should do it and I'm making sure that all the strands of the hair are covered just because I don't want it to be uneven. I don't want to get into spots and I just want to make sure that I just keep working my way of making sure that I covered oh yeah. When I'm done with this side. I'M going to flip the hair over to the other side and, as you can see, it's not enough to just work on one side. You have to work on both sides. We used to make sure that you really cover all strands of the hair on your extensions, and I just kept going like this on all of my extensions just covering them up making sure they have color all over slipping it over and then I just lay them Out flat before they recommended time which, for this header color was 25 minutes and then of course, you'll want to rinse out all the hair color in your extensions and just really make sure that you get all the color out because you're not gon na wash. Your extensions as often as your own hair and you don't want to remove a new extensions by leaving any color on em. So you just as I'm sure you know to just do this to all your extensions until they're are completely clean and rinsed out. So the last thing that I did was to put on the little hair mask onto the extensions. I highly recommend doing this because you want to moisture your extensions and you don't want them to get dry from the coloring or anything like that. So either use the one that you get with your hair, color or use any hair mask that you have at home just making sure that they stay nice and shiny and moisturized. And after that, I just lay them out flat like this on a towel to let them dry out - and here you have the final results with my own hair and hair extensions. As you can see, they are the exact same color which looks pretty nice. I hope you guys got some help from this video, even though it's a really simple process, and you can do it with any hair extensions that aren't real hair. I hope you guys liked this video. If you did, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to. My channel and I will see you guys in the next video which will be up very soon. I promise
