I will be doing a hairstyle for you guys, but for this hairstyle, instead of just doing my natural hair, as is I'm going to do somewhat of a protective styling by adding clip ins to my natural hair, so first things. First, I'm sectioning off my hair and also guys you know already you've made sure your hair is washed. All that shindig like obviously make sure that your hair is clean. So I didn't stretch my hair. I know it's looking sure. Sometimes you guys ask. I'M sure. Did you cut your hair? No sis like have you guys heard of shrinkage like yes, it's real, it happens, yeah whatever, so, basically for this clip in hairstyle, you don't have to do like perfect braids under your clip in this. You just want to make sure that your here is laid flat, but he doesn't have to be super flat because, especially with curly clippings, like there's, no perfection to this game just improvise make the style your own. So instead of braiding, my hair, because my hair is kind of my stuff - is kind of tender right now. So I'm, like you know, I'm just gon na put some Plex in the back and leave it, as is so. Some people like to blend their natural hair with the clippings it's too poofy for me, makes my head look extra small, with the hair being too poofy. So I like to put away my hair, especially since it's supposed to act as a protective styling, so I want to put away as much of my hair as possible. So that's what I did at the back and now for the front section, I'm going to part it or sexually even further cuz, I'm gon na do like a little braiding situation in the front and if you guys are new to my channel, the usuals might my Regular studies, but my love's know that I can't breathe that well, but I will be attempting to do two braids in the front for this step, because I believe I can I've been practicing since sis I'm getting better. Okay, we're getting better we're learning together. So that's what I will be doing parting off, that section that I'm gon na put away where I'm not gon na need right now and then we're gon na move on to the next step. Now guys, you know the struggle with finding good edge control for um for type here, like it's so funny, like listen, um, this edge control, it's glossy, I love how it looks. It'S not giving me any residue Buster's, all inhale was all it could hold. Was air and not my edges? Okay, like it held my edges all of five minutes, and that was it like. It is so funny because I used the same edge control a couple months ago. I don't know if my my hair got used to it now and it's like subsist. It'S not gon na happen, but after five minutes it wasn't happening so yeah use your very best edge control or whatever you use to slow your edges. If you want this to stay okay for more than five minutes and then I'm gon na part it in two and then I'm going to attempt my breathing situation, so I'm not even explain the braid to you guys, cuz, I'm not gon na even act like. I know what I was doing, so you guys can just watch to see how I do those two front. Braids, okay, guys know that I've gotten my hair in the ponytail, I'm going to add my clippings and these clippings. I got from better length dot-com, and this is therefore a so it's three C for a afro kinky curly textured clip-ins. This is a 16 inch. I use these clippings in a video I think, a month ago, in a previous hairstyle sort, the the clippings are freshly washed. I think it was way over a month. I don't remember, but it was. It was some time ago that I use these clippings. I love natural hair clippings like since they it's just the best okay, so I added two of the pieces in the front and then I'm going to try to disguise it as much as possible for the ponytail, especially for the wefts of the clippings. So I'm just gon na take a little piece of the hair to cover the web. So it doesn't show so, as I say, to pieces in the front because I needed to be full so that it falls backwards and doesn't look too thin. But at the same time I didn't want it to be too truthful, like you, you guys get what I'm saying so, I'm gon na put away this front section here, while I put the clippings in the back now for the back, I use about five pieces. All you need is a bundle for your entire head. It comes with ten pieces, I believe so. I use two in the front and then I use I believe, five in the back and if you want it fuller than that go ahead, but I got a pea head. I can't have too much here. Well, let me not say that, but yeah I didn't want it to be too big and poufy. It was just the right density for me, and that was perfectly fine for me now too late did I realize that girl, you didn't even leave a little piece of my natural hair out to cover the width, but that was okay, because with how much hair I Put on the ponytail itself, it was able to comfort the hair. So I'm, like you, know what it's a win-win situation, because less of my hair out, which means this is a one protective styling. Okay, so it worked out for the better. Now I'm just gon na play around with it just to get a feel of it. You know just play around with the hair. I don't know just how you want it to be styled. Then I'm gon na take the side bridge that I did. I'M gon na use a pin, a bobby pin to just pin them in to make it look like it's going into my ponytail cause. Y'All know my hair ain't got long and yeah. I think I can see my wife's are covered. Everything is full and lovely and yeah. That is the end of the tutorial. If you want to do like those ghost rings around the base of your ponytail, you can do that. I didn't want to do it because I didn't want it to get a little. I don't know is sometimes with that ghoul thing, it kind of looks a little bit childish on some styles, and I didn't want that and yeah. This is the end of the tutorial. I know I should want some blue lipstick cuz, I'm like why not you know, I'm saying like it's summer, it's a hot girl summer step out of your comfort zone. Ameerah Needham: You have to set your edges by tying them down for at least 10 minutes. Also there is a gel called Got 2 Be Glued in a yellow tubsle that works. You have to mix 8t with water or you'll have white residue.

This will be my first time ever leaving a comment tho I must say I'm very proud of your improvements on your braiding, or "canerow" as we would say in Jamaica . Anyways, I notice you mentioned about the edge control, just a suggestion..... You could probably start off by using that same edge control and then apply a small amount of got to be glue (black tube) over it! That may hold your edges a little longer
