Hi guys welcome back to my channel, so I have been getting a lot of questions about my love or long bob and I've done a tutorials on it before, but this time I wanted to show you guys how I get that super super thick. Look that just kind of flicked out, no matter what angle you're looking at it from and the secret the limo not is hair extensions. So I use luxy hair extensions, they're, really high-quality extensions, and basically I clip them in and cut them to fit. My hair and use them purely for volume and that the way I came up with this is because a friend of mine is a our beauty, editor, a magazine here in Australia and he's always. Cds had shoulder length hair that was like so beautifully thick and one day I just asked out like how did you get your head and look this big and I've never even considered that it would have been hair extensions, but that's what it was and I'm not Moving forward the way that I think about hair extensions, just completely changed like it's no longer just a way for me to get, you know, suddenly a really long hair, but for me I use them for different styles. I use them to collapse for ponytails, obviously for length, but my main reason why I really like clip in hair extensions is for volume. So if you guys like this, look, carry on watching and I will show you exactly how to place them, cut them and style them to look like this, alright, so let's get started. So what we're going to need for this look? Is I assisted a really high-quality, hair extensions? These are my favorite, thereby luxy hair, and I have gone for an ombre long for this look now. The reason I gone for this color here is because I feel it the dark top. It will match really well to a sort of dark roots underneath my hair and then I do happen to cut a little bit lower like here. For instance, I think those highlights are going to work really well with the highlights that have gotten. Naturally, in my hair now so this karma is going to go really well for my hair, I think I hope next thing we're going to need is scissors. They have to be hairdresser scissors. Please don't try me, like kitchens a little something like that, because it's going to be a lot harder to cut, really well you're, going to need a pretty water bottle. It'S just water in here, but the reason you need this is because it's a lot easier to cut hair when it's wet or damp. So we just need some curves. Any comb is fine and a hair clip. So my hair is freshly washed at the moment and I've blow-dried it with a little bit of loot lifting spray which is going to create a little bit of texture now. The reason I want it drive to begin with is because I find it a lot easier to clip in hair extensions when I have dry hair. So first we want to do is clip the hair extension in now I'm going to clip them in right towards the bottom. Here I don't really need them to blend, so I'm not going to try and, like you know, place them strategically. All the way up. My head, I really just want that extra volume under here so that when I style it up, you don't have all these little gaps. So you might have the wind blows you're going to have really really thick love. So I'm going to just easily divide my hair and just clip that top it away the first one I'm going to go for is one with three clips. It'S just the perfect whips to go from behind my ear. To the highlight me up, I'm going to put another one right on top of that one, and now I'm going to drop down just a little bit more hair so that I've got a little bit of hair here above my ear that I can actually attach some Extensions to as well now I'm going to go with one set with just two clips on the side and one set with two clips on that side. I'M doing that just behind my either so that it doesn't struck with me actually doing that. So I can still kind of friendly play with my hair and do lots of different hairstyles, because it's not going to squish down my ear or anything then right. On top of that, I'm putting in one with four Clips all the way across the back and onto the top of those two there and the great thing is this: one is going to cover those two clips there so your hand never get like stuck in it And they never got to come and show you through when you, you know just doing your thing, and this is the last one I'm going to put in its another wide one with four clips, and I'm just going to pop that straight. On top of that, one again so I'll show you what this looks like okay, perfect, so they feel really nice and secure, and you do actually get all these extra pieces here, which is typically really great for the size. I'M not actually going to use these. For this look at all, I just want to add a lot of extra volume to kind of the mid and sort of back of my hair. So I've got this really nice big lot. So I'm going to leave that on and just put these on here. I think it's going to provide enough thickness so now that I have these clipped in and they feel really nice and secure. You go remember where is Clifton, because this is where you have to cover every single time. You want to use them because you're going to cut them exactly to your hair now the easiest way to do this is to split it into a few sections. So I'm going to take one two and have one section of the back of it: we're going to deal with this section here step and clip the raft away. Okay and now the fun part begins. So I'm going to take my 50 water bottle and I want to strip all of this hair pretty down now to actually cut. You need to be really careful not to cut your own hair. So what we're going to do is we're going to use this lower part of my hair that you really see is separating from the hair extensions as a guide to how long we want this to be so. What you're going to do is just run a comb through there and you're going to get an idea exactly where your hair is and what a hair extensions are. So that's the guide are going to use and then you can just pop your comb through there and grab your scissors and gently cut along the edge. Now you can see here that I'm just doing some vertical kind of in tune into my hair and that's because my log isn't a lump. So I want to make sure that this is looking a little bit more natural and doesn't have like a blunt edge cut into it. So I'm still using my hair, which I can see, I'm teaching you is quite short as a guide and I'm just slowly cutting away at the extension once you actually do this. You can see a difference between your hair, so it's kind of easy to just keep playing with it and get it cut exactly where you need it to be, then I'm going to move on it to the other side and do exactly the same thing. Okay, so the back section can get a little bit tricky, but what you want to do is take small sections and then just keep comparing them to what you've done it right next to them, so that you can get a nice even cut across. So here we go okay and then won't be feeling pretty happy about where you've cut your extensions. What you want to do is drop your hair down and then just brush that out the comb so that you can see if there are any places where you might need to cut it a little bit shorter. So now that I've cut my extension, I'm just going to want to blow dry and style them, I'm going to spritz a little bit of root right into them, to give them a little bit of texture to match my hair and I'm actually going to blow dry Them up from underneath now start at my service is a service ticket log. First, I'm going to put some triple: no, no, like cell volume spray, so this is just dry shampoo and break up a little bit into my hair, just above new hair extensions. Just to give this roof a bit of extra, I'm going to massage that all through and you can see before I've even put a curl into it. That is just looking enormous. There is so much volume in this now to style. I just want to throw a few texted curls into it, so I'm going to divide out the bottom part, which is basically mainly the hair extensions and call it the top it I'm just going to take a thin curling one. So this one is one that has kind of a smaller barrel towards the front like a comb, and you can't use a thin one as well, either always totally fine. But what you want to do is grab small sections of hair and do some it to the back and some to the front and what you want to do rather than making it like a perfect curl is just wrap it once around and then kind of ready And stick out straight like that, because I want it to kind of flick out a little bit like kind of messy rather than perfect lady curls. So then that one's of the back. So this one I'm going to do towards the front so that it remains textured and separate rather than joining into one. This is taking significantly longer than with just my own hair, because it sorry thick okay, so that is that layer all done - and this is what it looks like it feels so sick and heavy, and I've got a really nice bouncy texture in there. So I think this is going to be awesome, drop down the next one and just leave the top section separate like that. You can be pretty rough with this, because it's just kind of a text to do you not meant to be in meat with it at all, so I'm just going to do the same thing all along at the second step. Alright, and that is layer. Two all done now, you can see here I'm like really letting the end just flick out like that. So there's just a kink in the middle of the hair and the ends I want them to end up. We can really be almost like a like an a yeah on my head, but that's the look, I'm going for so finish it off. I'M just going to take the top bit down and I'd like to do a center part. Obviously you can do whatever you feel comfortable with, and I flipped the front bit and just brush that forward like this, and now we stick one here. I don't want to curl it all the way to the top. So I'm actually going to angle my curling iron. There and just bring that across like that and flicking out of the bottom and then same thing, I'm going to do that all across the top of my head, there, probably only five or six curls there. So it's really quick to finish off. Okay - and that is all done so to finish it off - I am just going to pop hand under there and kind of massage my scalp a little now be very careful with this, because the idea is not to mix up these curls. You want them to stay intact. You can mess them up a little bit, but you definitely don't want to have like one big poof your head and then what I like to do is when you're pretty happy with the shape of it, get a flexible hold. Hairspray flip your head upside down pretty carefully and spray it, so I'm just going to pop here just kind of in the bottom there like that and there we have it. This is super super thick. It feels amazing I like just like showing my head around like crazy, but how look? How much volume is in that love? So I've got a flexible hold hairspray in there, so I've got that nice, bounce and natural look to it. The ends are really slicked up. I give it that cool, calm contemporary style, rather than like very much flick hood and I am thrilled with that. So the cool thing is now. I have a set of extensions that for special occasions or photo shoots or events, something like that. I can just clip them in and feel that extra special. So that's the one thing that I feel like I've been lacking with a love is: how am I going to get that like on and that kind of Wow espero still on I'm really dressed up, and this for me, is definitely doing that. So if you've been, you know considering getting a lot but holding back a little bit, because you think your hair might not be thick enough or you really want this really thick thick style. Maybe tie clip in hair extensions because for me they are just such a perfect accessory to try different, looks with your hair there's low risk and you know you can have a bunch of different ones for different hairstyles. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Please do let me know if you try it and if it works out well for you, I would love to get your feedback. Please remember that I am NOT a professional hair, stylist or haircut off for that matter. I just made sure that I didn't cut my hair at all and only the extensions I'm just showing you guys what you can do to play around with a couple of hairstyles at home. Hope you love it I'll see you next time.
