3 Easy Hairstyles Using Hair Rings | Halloween, Festivals & More!

Hi everyone, I'm Holly and welcome to the luxy hair channel today, I'm gon na be creating three different looks all using hair rings. Herring'S have been trending for quite some time now and they've been seen on so many different celebrities and what better time to try out this trend than for Halloween, especially if you're looking for a last-minute costume idea and if you're. So if you want to see the three different looks, I'm going to be creating using hair rings and then just keep on watching for the first look, I'm going to create a center braid with a high ponytail, I'm brushing all my hair back and then I'm sectioning A piece of hair on my crown and this bit is the bit I will be braiding and then I'm just tying the rest of my hair back loosely to keep it out of the way. While I do my braid to start the braid, I'm taking a small section in the center of my hair and I'm separating this into three sections to create this braid you'll be crossing the sections of hair under each other. Once you've crossed the hair over three times. You can start picking up pieces of hair and adding it to the section you're about to cross under continue adding hair, as you braid, along to the back of your head until you've picked up all the hair tie the braid off with a little a stick and Make sure you tighten it to keep everything in place and then I'm just pulling up sections of my braid just to make it a bit bigger and create some more volume and texture. Then I'm gon na create my high ponytail now by brushing all my hair back and then I'm just gon na use my hands to smooth it out and a tip. I have I like to tip my hair upside down to ensure that all the underneath is smooth, and this will also help you create a higher ponytail and then I'm just tying this off with a normal hairband. Ensuring it's secure - and I also like to use a hairband, that's similar to my hair color, I'm going to add some volume into my ponytail now by taking sections and I'm just back combing them with a comb. Now the fun part adding the hair rings, just pull the rings apart to create a gap in them and then just weave them into your braids starting at the front. And then once it's in position, you can close the gap so that the Herring stays in place. I'M going to be adding about ten in total and I'm just going to space them out evenly in my braid. Now, if you want to add even more volume, you can click in some luxy hair extensions mine are in the shade ash blonde. This will also just help to hide your hair band. I think I have enough volume, so what I'm going to do is just take a section of hair from underneath my ponytail and I'm going to wrap this around the hair band and secure this into place. Using a bobby pin - and this is the first super - easy hairstyle with hair rings, it's perfect for day old, hair or, if you're, in a rush and want a style that looks like you've made the effort, but really it only took you five minutes for the second Look, I've pulled my hair and I'm taking my lucky hair extensions in ash blonde. These are the 20 inch ones and, if you need to you can add these in on the side of your hair that we're going to braid just to create a fuller and thicker braid. For this look I'm just going to be creating a side part I'm taking the front section of hair and I'm dividing this into three sections and I'm going to start braiding it again. I'M going to be crossing the sections of hair under each other and I'm going to be picking up sections of hair. As I go along each time you cross a section under tighten the hair to prevent your braid from loosening too much, I'm going to be braiding. All the way to the end of my hair and I'm just going to tie it off with a clear elastic, I'm creating a bit more texture into my braids now by pulling gently on the sections. This is also going to help to thicken it. Now I have these really fun: hair rings in all different textures, and I'm adding these all the way down my braid. This look is perfect for a festival or even if you just want to glam up a simple curly hairstyle. Lastly, and this one's my favorite, I'm taking a large section of hair at the crown of my head and then I'm parting, this down the middle, we're going to be creating two identical braids so ensure your part is straight down the middle. Then I'm clipping the rest of my hair back just to keep it out of the way a while.i braid then taking the first section, I'm grabbing a piece of hair at the front and I'm going to be creating three smaller sections. I'M doing exactly the same thing as the previous hairstyles crossing their hair under each other and picking up sections of hair as I go along and then I'm tying this off with a clear elastic and I'm just going to do exactly the same to the other side And I'm going to be stopping the braid at the top of my head so that our space buns sits high up now to create the buttons I'm twisting my hair and then I'm wrapping it around into a bun shape. Don'T worry about being too neat with this? I think it looks nice when it's a bit Messier and undone and then I'm just using a hairband to secure that into place. Then I'm adding in the hair rings to my braids and this time I'm gon na put about five on each side. But you can add as many or as little as you like, and this is the final look. It'S such a fun and super cute hairstyle is perfect for events, festivals and especially fancy dress, so that is it for this tutorial.
