How To: Ponytail With Hair Extensions Hairstyle | Valerie Pac

As I wake up every ouch, the Dale hey guys, so today's video is on this hairstyle that I'm wearing right now, it's a big voluminous ponytail with a side, little braid on each side to give it something a different, and I used my Sally's hair extensions. I just bought them at Sally's. I use two packs because one pack isn't enough: their extensions are actually really thin, but they do the job so yeah. I just show how to put extensions in a ponytail without getting any clips, as you can see, there's no hair extension clips showing underneath and it's actually really comfortable they're not pulling on your hair right here. It doesn't have to be this one: a dry shampoo for texture, a teasing comb to give us body, and you will also need hair extensions. You don't need hair extensions for this, but it really just gives a big difference and mine are from Sally's. You also need that little tiny hair tie into big hair tie and a brush to brush out your hair and your hair extensions, which I already brushed mine out here, I'm going to be spraying my dry shampoo at my roots, my hair is actually freshly washed and That'S why I'm spraying this, because I need to get that extra body so that it goes up nice in the ponytail, so I'm just shaking it out and yeah. This is the finished look just kidding so now you are going to take a little piece of hair in the crown of your head and you're, going to put that in a mini, mini ponytail, which sounds really weird but you're going to take a really small hair Tie and you're going to tie this in a little ponytail, and this is what we are going to be wrapping the hair extensions around, as you will see in this next clip. So here I'm taking my first extension left, which has three clips on it and, as you can see, it's very thin. That'S why I'm using two packs. So what you're gon na do is clip the extension upside down and you're gon na clip it around the little mini ponytail in a circle, so you're gon na clip it in the form of a ponytail, but your extensions are going to be clipped upside down. I know what kinda it's hard to explain and it's hard to show in the video, but as you can see, they're clipped upside down, so I'm gon na take my neck swept, which is another three clip weft and I'm just going to put that in the same Way that I Clips the other extension just upside down and I'm clipping it around each hair extension as you can see so we're we're forming a ponytail around each other. If that makes sense, I know it's kind of hard to explain, but this clip is - or this extension left is a three clipped wet, but it's a little bit longer and has a little bit more hair. So I'm just gon na do the same thing clip that around and it should look something crazy like this, I'm taking another three weft clip and I'm going to do this same thing just clipping it upside down around the other wefts. So now I'm going to section off this top section because we're going to be doing the side little braids, so I'm just clipping that off so now, you're gon na do your side braid. So this is what you're gon na do: you're going to section your hair off in three pieces and you're gon na just do a normal French braid. So, as you can see, you're just taking the three pieces and doing your French braid, I like to start it off like a French braid, so take more hair, add it to the braid and then I stopped adding hair on the top section. I just I'm only adding hair on the bottom section, so you want to add more hair to the braid and then you're just going to take your top piece and just leave it at that, but incorporate and it in a braid. So I'm just adding more hair on the bottom and not the top. It just looks neater that way so you're, just like I said, adding more hair and you're going to clip that and you're going to take the bobby, pin and clip it into the braid so that you don't have any bobby pins sticking out and I'm doing the Same thing, on this side, it's got nothing left to say like me, so now we're going to take the section, that's clipped off and I'm taking a little bit of bang down, because I don't like when my hair is just slicked back. So I'm going to just tease this whole top section. So now I'm going to get my ponytail started, so I'm taking this top section and really just forming the top. The way that I want it, I wanted the top to have more volume in it and the sides to be tighter. So I take this side on the side of my plain tail and I'm going to get it nice and tight and then keep the top section loose. Now I'm just combining the bottom section with the top section and I'm going to get my hair tie and tie that up now, I'm going to tighten the ponytail and kind of push it up so that it gives you that body and then you're gon na go In with your curling iron and curl, the ponytail, I'm just going to take random sections and curl them, I switch it up some sections, I go towards my face and some sections I go away from my face. That'S just going to give you that messy textured body I'm going to speed this portion of the video up, because if I didn't, we would be here just watching the same thing over and over again, and I don't want to bore you. So I will be right back and finish this up. It'S got nothing left to say, okay, so now we're almost done. We just have one more step and that's going to be to hide the hair tie so you're just going to take a section of hair and wrap it around. The hair tie to hide it, and this just finishes the look off and gives it a nice sleek. Look so that'll, be it guys.
