Hi everyone welcome to my channel 10 ways to wear it, i'm alicia and on this channel i take one fashion, item or one fashion trend and show you all 10 different ways to wear it now. Today'S video is all about the hair. I am partnering with betterlink to bring you some really cute fall hairstyles that will work for all the crazy weather we are going to be facing this fall and winter. I'Ve created some cute styles, using their kinky curly 3b 3c clip ends. I got them in a size 20 inch and they are the bomb and, as you can see girlfriend i worked these clip-ins okay, we got the bantu knots popping off. If you want to see what i came up with using better lengths, clip-ins girl, let's go ahead and jump right into this video, because these styles are banging alrighty. So this is what the hair looks like fresh out of the pack. As you can see, it has a gorgeous tight, curl pattern. Like i said in my intro, this is the kinky curly 3b 3c 20 inch hair and it is absolutely stunning i am going to give it a co-wash before the install. I love that better length also sends these satin bags to store the hair in it's nice and big, and i can keep these clip-ins in there and know exactly where to find them. They also send this little pamphlet to tell you how to care for the hair and everything you need to do to keep it nice and soft and in good condition. So love that for better length and let's go ahead and give it a co-wash i'll show you all what it looks like after the co-wash and then we'll start with the install alrighty. So i did go ahead and co-wash the hair and i just left it on the strings. While i co-washed it, i used the suave moroccan oil infusion, shine, conditioner, that's what i always use to co-wash any tracks that i'm using or any type of weave that i'm using it works really good and the hair is so soft. It kept its structure as far as the curls go. I didn't comb it out or anything too much, so this hair is, if i could just tell y'all this hair is just so freaking soft like it is. It is so soft, but i'm going to go ahead and cut it off of the strings now, so we can go ahead and get ready to install it. This first style that i'm going to do is going to be the easiest one in the video and it's basically just a low ponytail that i'm going to do towards the back of my head. I'M going to show you all how you can do that super easily. Without having to do too much blending or anything like that, and it's a basic protective style that we all can wear to work, we can wear it on the weekends. It'S elegant. It'S cute i'm going to be using some headbands with the look, but you can always leave off the headbands if you want to, but i happen to love hair accessories. So i got a few here, i'm not sure which one i'm going to use, but all you need is your gorgeous. Clip-Ins you'll need some scrunchies. Something like this to tie your hair back and you'll also need a little bit of edge control or some hairspray, or something like that, which i do have here. I have my pump it up gold, hair spray. I have some dry shampoo. If i need that - and i have my black panther edge control here - but you can use any of your preferred edge controls um whatever works for your hair, but we're going to go ahead and get right into the style low ponytail. Let'S do it. Y'All of you of you, okay, you all, so i'm all done with the first style, and this one was super easy, as you saw in the video all i did was part the front of my hair separated from the back and then i put the back into A little bun and started layering in the clips on top of my hair, so no blending needed no braiding needed. So if you're, not a braider and you don't know how to do flat twists and all that kind of stuff, no need to worry girlfriend, i'm making it easy for you. But i basically layered in the two and three clip wefts and i just layered them to about the area where my part was, and then i used the front to cover and to blend my hair. I just basically took my hair that was out on top of the hair and kind of twisted it with the clip ends and then wrapped it around to cover the bun. So if you all can see that i just kind of wrapped it around a little bit very loosely, this is such a comfortable ponytail. The clips are not digging into my scalp, they feel very comfortable. I don't feel like my hair is being broken, or anything like that. So i love this as a really nice protective style and you have that fluffy ponytail and you can definitely go up further if you wanted to just part out a small amount of your hair. I like to kind of do it like right, where my ears are just so i have a good amount of coverage over the clips, but it feels so comfortable. I really love this style. This is perfect for, like a holiday party girl, i am feeling this natural ponytail right here and if it's raining, you don't want to be doing too much to your hair slick it with some good gel honey and you are out the door so love this. First. Look: let's go ahead and get into the next one alrighty, so moving into the next style off camera. I went ahead and put my hair into three ponytails going right down the middle i'll spin around. So you guys can see the ponytails from the back. I just parted one at the bottom, one in the middle and then one at the top and just kind of used some hairspray to get them all together. As you can see, the hair ain't too thick some people have naturally thick ponytails. I used to be one of those people since i've gotten older that just ain't the case anymore. So that's why we got our clip-ins right and they're nice and thick wefts. So i love that, because when i go ahead and make these buns they're going to look so fluffy and cute and that's basically what i am going to be doing is like a bun hawk. So if you haven't heard of that hairstyle, it's basically where you have buns going down the middle of your hair. It'S such a cute hairstyle, especially for events and things like that, so i'm going to go ahead and show you all how i do it. Of course, i'm going to speed things up a little bit, but not too fast, where you can't see what's going on. But basically, what i'm going to do is just wrap my little struggle ponytails into little buns and then i'm going to take the clip ins and wrap them around those buns and make like nice little puffs going down the middle of my head and i'm going to Be using the five clip wefts as well as one of the four clip wefts, so i'm those are going to be the ones that i'm going to be using to make my fluffy bun. So let's go ahead and jump right into it. This is definitely going to show you how thick these wefts are because they're, nice and thick and they make really good buns. So let's go ahead and jump into the hairstyle. I'M excited because i look crazy alrighty. So here is the next style, and, oh, my goodness it is so cute. My little bun hawk is popping. This style was super easy to do as long as you kind of use clips like this to keep the hair separated so you're not like mixing up the buns. It makes it a lot easier when you do that. I do have a little bit of wrinkles here because i have a loose scalp. These ponytails are not tight. I do not put tight ponytails in my head, so make sure you're not putting them too tight and when you insert the bobby pins into your hair, make sure you're pushing them away from your scalp. You guys, because you don't want like tension alopecia to happen, or you know where it's like digging into your scalp. I'Ve had that happen to me in the past, where i'm like out somewhere and all of a sudden, my bobby pin shifts, and it's like digging into my scalp. Have you ever had that happen to y'all? That is the worst okay. It feels like somebody, somebody's just drilling into your head, so make sure you're pointing your bobby pins away from your scalp when you insert them, but i just use two in each bun. You can always use a hair thing if you don't want to stick bobby pins into your hair, because they can be a little bit irritating, but i love this style. Oh my goodness, it's so cute put on some big earrings yeah matter of fact. We got to do it now hold on hold on girls. I mean i mean girl. I ain't even got to say nothing at this point. Okay, this is so cute with hairstyles like this big earrings are just the thing to finish them off, but girl. I love this look, oh my goodness, so cute so easy all. You need to do part your hair in three ponytails. If you're not good at parting, have somebody else do it wrap your ponytails around into buns or if you have short hair, you can just leave it kind of hanging, wrap your clip ins around try not to stick them into your scalp, but these clippings i find Are super comfortable? They have like little rubber things on the end, so they're not like stabbing you or anything like that, but just wrap them around your bun and then wrap the hair around. As you saw in the video i wrapped it super loosely. So i can make my buns nice and fluffy, but girl, you know, and if you want to do the little swoopy swoop on your edges, you can do all of that, but i like it just the way it is looking uh. I want to leave my hair like this, but anyway we're going to go ahead and move into the next style. Okay, so this next style is going to be a pretty easy transition from the bun hawk that you all just saw because i'm going to leave in the top bun - and i just basically took the two bottom buns down and put them in a very low ponytail. At the back of my head, as you all, can see, i'm gon na go ahead and braid that ponytail, because we're gon na be doing a half up half down style. I want the back to be extra extra fluffy and i love that i got this hair in 20 inches because you can really have a lot of fun when the hair is longer. So honestly, i would recommend unless you're you know wanting to just wear really short. Styles, get the hair a little bit longer because it really does allow you more versatility as far as the styling. But i'm going to be basically using most of the clip-ins. In the back of my head and like i said earlier, if you're not a braider or if you don't know how to do flat twists, then i'm just making it a lot easier for you all out there um. Sometimes i just don't have time to braid my hair down and do all of that. If i'm going to be wearing the clip-ins for like long-term, then i usually will try to braid my hair down, but for the most part i take them out every night and stuff like that. So i, like it simple like this, you know just layering them. On top of a low bun or a low ponytail, it makes it so much easier for me, and these clip-ins are so thick and fluffy that um it covers my bun. You won't be able to see it at all, but i'm going to go ahead and start layering in the clip-ins and, like i said, i'm going to be pretty much using them all i'll spin around. So you all can see and speed things up a little bit for you, but we're going to do our half up half down style with a top knot. So let's go ahead and get into it alrighty. So, as you all just saw, i went ahead and layered the clips on top of my bun back there and you can't even see it at all they're so thick and fluffy that you can't even see that i have a bun under there. But i wanted to show you all real, quick, a trick that i've been doing to kind of cover the wefts when i get to that top part. I honestly don't even really care if it shows, if somebody's all up in your head, like that, then you know just like back up. Okay, we're in a pandemic back up off me, but you know. Sometimes you do want to conceal it, because you don't want it to be obvious that you're wearing clip-ins or tracks in your hair, so i have kind of been using a way to kind of cover the wefts and what i basically do is take a rat tail. Comb and i just kind of pull out some of the hair, and i basically just flip it over separate it like that, and then i just kind of bring it over the track. If you all just saw that and then i usually just kind of hold it or just try to you know, just keep it in place like that again, i'm going to separate some hair out and i haven't really combed out this hair. So it's still in its like full definition but, like i said, just separate some hair on the outside of the clip in and then just pull it over and, as you can see, it kind of covers the track a little bit and then once i clip it Onto my head, i kind of spread out that hair a little bit, but i'm just going to go through and do that all the way across the track. Just taking my rat tail comb pulling out some hair and pulling it over onto the other side, and that's not going to get in your way as far as clipping it onto your hair at all, it's it's still going to allow you to do that and i'll Try my best to give you all a close-up. Once the clips are on my head to show you what it actually looks like and how it does kind of cover the tracks a little bit. But i'm going to go ahead and do that real, quick and then we'll get back into the install alrighty so now that i've separated the hair. The way i want to this is what it looks like on the outside, and this is what things look like on the inside now, i'm just going to carefully go ahead and install this last weft onto my hair and i'm just going to clip it the way I normally do and that hair that's flipped over from the outside is going to kind of cover the tracks. For the most part, you might be able to see a little bit but, like i said, if somebody is all up on you, looking all up in your head, like that, it's like back up okay but um. I'M going to go ahead and clip those on and then i'll try to give you guys a real good close-up to show you what it looks like. So, let's get into that. Okay, you guys so i've zoomed you in to try to show you what it looks like, because i went ahead and took hair and flipped it over the clip ends to kind of cover the wefts. This is what things are looking like and, as you can see, you do not see the weft as good, because of that little thing that i did to kind of cover them up a little bit. So that's a way that you can do it without having to leave any hair out without having to you know, try to blend your hair or anything like that, because then it just becomes so cumbersome. You know these hairstyles can be super easy, but when you start getting into blending and all that extra stuff, it kind of becomes a little bit taxing, but you know we just want it to be easy. These are protective styles and we want all of our hair to be protected. So in a style like this, i can just grease my scalp really good, put in my top knot. Put my hair in a bun or braids in the back and just putting my clip ins, and this is such a cute style. You can never go wrong with the half up half down style, they always look cute. Let me go ahead and add some earrings y'all because uh you know it ain't complete without the earrings. So let me grab some real quick hold on alrighty you all. So i went ahead and added some earrings, and now i am even more in love with this style, and i love the fact that it looks so full with the bun and the hair in the back, and i didn't even use all the clip-ins. I only used eight of the ten clip-ins so girl, this hair is so thick and pretty, and i just i'm in love with this style. Oh, my goodness, i think i'm gon na have to film my next youtube video with this style, so stay tuned for that y'all. But yes, loving the half up, half down, let's go ahead and get into the next style, is free from the pain free from the pain alrighty. You guys here is the next hairstyle all complete and, as you can see, we have five huge bantu knots and i think this is such a cute hairstyle like i said this is another one, that's great for an event. If you really want to just stand out, this is definitely a hairstyle that is going to do that for you and i really love it. I'M going to go ahead and pop on some earrings that you can actually see and girlfriend they are always going to complete the look. Let me get it on first now it wants to act up. Okay, there we go y'all, we got our earrings on. We got our hair, oh girl, i love this hairstyle y'all know i am so extra, so y'all know i'm feeling this hair. It is so cute little bantu knots. I love it and you can definitely do more. You know you get 10 different wefts with these clip-ins. So you can do 10. If you wanted to, you, can make them smaller. You can do three in the back three in the front. If you want to, you, can leave them down. If you want to. You can also braid the hair and then wrap it around. If you want your bantu knots to be a little bit more tighter and more, you know just confined, you can definitely do that as well. I, like them nice and puffy and big, like this kind of reminds me of janet jackson in the screen. Video or you know just some of the real cute hairstyles you've seen over the years, celebrities rocking and we're not on the red carpet. So this is definitely a really cool red carpet hairstyle. So i love this one. Let'S go ahead and move into the last hairstyle. I'M super excited and we'll be done with the video i'm loving all these styles y'all, i hope y'all are loving them alrighty, so we're getting into this last style, and this one is pretty simple, but it is gon na require one two i'm gon na be using This quarter of an inch curler to blend my hair. Now i know i said this was all going to be real easy, but you know sometimes you got to put in a little bit of work and i've been wanting to try this out for a while. I got this curl this set of curlers on amazon and, like i said, they're three quarters of an inch really skinny, so i'm going to actually see how they work on my hair, as well as try to blend my hair, because i want to do like an All down look, and i want to have a little bit of leave out, so what i basically did with my hair is put it in a low ponytail kind of wrap. My bun, my my braided ponytail a little bit and i left about half an inch of hair out in the front on the side, because i want like a little side, part type of deal. But i'm going to go ahead and install all of the clippings. In my hair, i'm going to try to put all 10 in and then we're going to match this leave out with the clip in. So i'm going to show you all how you can do that if you're natural, i am natural, i am not relaxed, but i do press and flat iron, my hair, so you know if i were to wash it. It'Ll revert back for the most part, but you know i do straighten it. So we're going to go ahead and use these curlers on my hair and see how they work out. So let's go ahead and get into this last style, i'm going to speed it up. A little bit and let you guys watch alrighty, so i went ahead and installed all 10 clip-ins in my hair and as you saw in the video i started with the three clip wefts, then i went up to the four clip wefts. Then i went up to the five clip wefts and i saved both sets of the two clip wefts for the front of my hair to kind of really conceal the front. So, as you can see, all that's left out is my little bit of leave out here. I'M gon na go ahead and take my rat tail comb and part it straight down the middle so that i have a little bit to conceal each side of my hair. Just like that part it down the middle, then i'm going to take my clip and clip this side out of the way and, like i said, i'm going to attempt to use my little tiny barrel curlers to make my hair resemble the clip ends. So we're going to go ahead and try that i don't really have anything on my hair except oil, because i washed my hair a couple of days ago and i always oil, my scalp really really good after i wash my hair. So it does have a little oil. So if you see a little smoke is probably going to be the oil, but i'm going to see how this works out. I'M just going to take my hair and wrap it around these little curlers. Just like that and just hold it for a minute and then i'm going to pull it out alright, so you can see it left me a nice little tight curl. So i'm definitely feeling these curlers because look at that curl really good curl. So i'm going to go ahead and continue to do that and i'll. Let you guys watch speed it up a little bit and i'll zoom you in a little bit, so you guys can check out what i'm doing. I will be alrighty, so i went ahead and used my little curlers to curl my hair and, as you can see, my curls are a lot looser than the curls in the hair itself. But that's okay, because i have another little thing i'm gon na do, but i just have to say i love this little skinny curler, because it's skinny all the way down. It'S not like fat and then get skinny. So because my hair is not that long. It really did work good. I might try that out on my whole hair and do like a straw set type of thing, but anyway getting back to the hair. What i want to do now is go ahead and separate the curls that i made a little bit and then i'm going to take some pieces of the clip ins and kind of wrap them around into those curls. So i'm just separating my little curls a little bit taking some hair from the clip ends and kind of wrapping it around my curls so that they'll kind of blend in with the clip-ins a little more i'll. Let you guys just watch while i speed it up a little bit while i do that alrighty. So here is the completed look, and even though it is not a perfect blend with my hair, i do love the way it turned out and i definitely think using the curling iron to put some little curls in there helped it helped with me wrapping my hair Around the hair - and it helped it just to kind of blend in towards the ends of my hair as well, and i love this hair because it's so easy to split. It doesn't give you a lot of trouble when you're trying to split it like if you're twisting it or something like that. It just really goes to show how soft it is and the quality of this hair. I really like it and i'm feeling this style. It looks so pretty, i think i'm gon na leave my hair like this for the rest of the day. But yes, that is the last style you guys so tried something new. I will definitely link this curl wand for you and, of course, all of the information on this hair will be in the description along with a discount code, but girl, i feel so cute.
