Hi besties lexi luxury here how the hell are you welcome or welcome back to my channel? So in today's video we are doing the perfect slick back messy bun moment. I'M gon na show you guys how to do this with extensions, and today we do have a sponsor so shout out to full shine, hair we're using seamless extensions today. Essentially, they are extensions specifically for thin hair, so i will be talking about those in the video as well as walking you through how i achieved this look from my hair. Looking like this to begin with, so if you guys are ready for the video make sure you hit that subscribe button and turn on your post notifications and also give this video a thumbs up, if you like videos like this, alright, let's get into it hi besties. Here i am, i've got my hair straightened for those of you who are new. I do have curly hair, so i always got to straighten it for these videos. Today, we are sponsored by full shine hair, and these are specifically seamless extensions. You guys will see that in a second, but just showing you the box, real, quick, all right. Let'S dive into these extensions, shall we gorgeous highlights in them. They honestly have so many different colorways. All the information will be in the description box down below, but here are those seamless extensions, really really thin, wefts perfect for thin hair and they're, so long so stunning. So, let's start putting these bad boys in here is my natural hair by the way for anybody who doesn't know and my hair is so so thin. So don't worry guys, i'm going to show you how you can still get a bomb messy bun within hair. So once i've sectioned off my hair, i section it like kind of towards the top, but still kind of in the middle above my ears for sure just teasing the hair a little bit grabbing the four clip weft and going in upside down. With these clips, you guys can see what i'm talking about here, but that's how we are going to apply all these extensions and i like to start with the bottom one first and then work my way up and we're pretty much using all of them. I'M using two of the four clips right now, adding in one of those three clips by the way um. This is what is in the pack, so you have two four clips. Two three clips, two two clips and two singular clips. So i'm putting in everything except for the singular clips just because i didn't feel like they were necessary for this look today, but you can see. I still have them right here. Alright. So now we are going to start putting up the hair, i'm going to take down the top section and i'm not going to worry too much about my part or anything we'll get back to that in a second. Don'T worry, but just gathering the hair right here and making sure that none of the wefts are showing in the back. But now i am finding my part in just pulling down two little framing pieces on each side. You'Re also going to see me pull down side pieces, i kind of end up putting these up later, so you can skip this part. If you don't want those totally up to you, make sure you have a really nice clean part by the way, if you have thin hair like mine, which i'm sure you do if you're watching this video i started cracking up, because i looked like how i used To look when i had on myspace: oh the side part days, anyways, just cleaning up the hair that is going back into the ponytail, so it is nice and slick. You can flick it back a little bit more later on, but we just want to clean it up as much as we can doing the same to the back, just a little bit of hairspray and my wave brush and then taking just a basic hair tie and Just going ahead and putting this in a ponytail, you can see how careful i'm being when i'm making the ponytail. That'S, because my clips will literally rip out if i just start like yanking on this thing. So just be really patient and i think i went around about three times with this ponytail, just until it was tight and secure. I pull on it a little bit just to make it a little bit tighter and yeah. That'S what it looks like as of now so we're gon na slick back this hair, even more just being super picky with it. We want this to be like a nice mixture between a slick back bun and a messy bun, so you know making sure we don't have any flyaways, so you're gon na part, your ponytail into two sections, you're gon na grab a little comb and tease away on Both sides do a little hairspray in the middle of that as well it'll. Let you just get a little bit more texture going with new extensions, they're, obviously really silky and gorgeous, so the hairspray helps get a little bit of a grip on it. Then you take your two ends and you're going to tie a knot. Yes, a literal knot and then you're going to tease each section again spray it and then tie another knot guys this messy bun is literally so easy, i'm not even joking you. So once you have your two knots you're going to take both sides and kind of wrap them around the back, flip them around and then do the same thing to the front. Obviously, the visual is a little bit better than what i'm talking about, but you guys see what i mean then once you've done that in the front as well. You'Ll take your little pieces in the back and you're just gon na stick them into your hair. Tie that is holding up your bun. This is really messy. You guys that's kind of the whole point, but it does look put together i'll show you guys the little back section real quick here, so you can see what i'm talking about, but yeah as long as she's, secure and she's good to go. Add a bobby pin. If you need to, but i feel pretty good to go with this, so here's where we're at right now looking a little funky. Obviously i will re-straighten these front pieces, but if you want to leave the side pieces down, you'd pretty much be done, but i'm going to show you how i continue this look and just make it look a little bit more elevated. So i am teasing the front two pieces, as you can see spraying it a little bit and then once i feel like they're teased enough by the way you can play around with this as much as you want, but once you feel like they're teased enough you're. Just gon na pin them into your bun and it gives you a little bit of volume up there. So you could leave your hair like this, but, like i said, i'm gon na go ahead and brush these side pieces up just to make it a little bit more clean. Here'S what it looks like right there, but i wasn't finished yet. I wanted to take down those framing pieces in the front just made sure they were nice and sectioned off, and that is the end of this tutorial. You guys super easy. The most tedious parts are just like slicking, the hair back, obviously, and putting the extensions in, but on any given day. This would really only take me about like five to ten minutes and yeah. That'S everything let's get into this outro, okay, besties! That is everything for this video. I hope you liked the tutorial. This is definitely something new for me. Today was actually the first time i was trying the specific messy bun, and i can tell it's gon na - be a style that i'm wearing over and over again. I feel like, for the longest time i've been on the hunt for the perfect, like messy bun, a good balance between messy and slicked back. If you know what i mean - and i feel like this is perfect, like all of my musty bun dreams have come true. If you guys have any questions, you guys know the drill make sure you drop them in the comment section down below. I will have all the information on this hair in the description box right below this video make sure you click that subscribe button and then also give me a big ass thumbs up. If you like this video, i love you guys so so much and i'll see you in my next one bye. Do you
