Mhot Hair Review | Affordable, Balayage Clip-In Hair Extensions

Oh no! What is that this [ __ ] keep going like who, like knows what's up cuties welcome back to life today with vinta pay? How are you i've missed you? How is life so, as you can see from the title of this video, and you know my new locks today - i'm going to be showing you these new extensions from the company mott mha, something like that. I was so excited to have a new style for the summer. It'S been three months since i took out my last sew-in and so i've just been i've just been stuck. I didn't know what to do next. Do i do a wig? Do i do braids? Do i do another weave? Do i do red hair? However? One of my favorite youtubers lindsay anastasia, actually uploaded a video for like affordable clip in hair extensions, and i'm like i could use that. It looks like the exact hair that i was dreaming for and i got them so if you guys want to see how i got this look, keep on watching get my chapstick okay a good morning. I am so excited to show you guys these extensions. They came in like two weeks ago and they have collected quite the amount of dust, but i've remained patient and i'm so excited to open them. Finally, yesterday i finally got my hair relaxed. I'Ve been stretching out my relaxers, because that's when i noticed the most growth um and also having a pandemic will definitely force you to stretch certain things, go a little longer without certain things and that's what i did, but it all worked out. It'S always sad when you get your hair trimmed because you get used to that like dead length of hair but yeah, it was definitely past boobage, but it was all dead. So we're not even gon na count that anymore out with the old in with the new and now it's nice and healthy. So here is where we're at with length. Let me turn around on this little chair. It'S not the most comfortable, it's not the most flexible of a chair, but okay, not sure if you can see that but yeah. My bra strap is like right here or just above it. Just gon na brush through make sure we're good to go. So shipping was not quick at all. Actually, let me pull up my little like email. It was probably three weeks. Okay, so i actually placed the order on july 10th and then i received it on july 31st. Okay wow. It felt so much longer than that, but i mean honestly, it was like it took 21 days. Oh snap hold on 21. Isn'T that what seven times three is wow? Oh, my gosh stay in school kids, although i stayed in school and i still couldn't do that basic math, okay, it actually took exactly three weeks, so i was right but okay, we're so used to quick, fast shopping like amazon prime fashion nova, even sends things like Within two or three days, so this took very long. We'Re gon na give them benefit of the doubt because it still got here and it seems to be in great condition. So, let's get to opening it, it is so cute. I don't know if i've ever received hair in a box like this, but it has a cute little bow and you just pull that open that and today, all right, what's like actually in it, though so it looks like this, is a tester strip clip i'm already. This deep, i waited three weeks for this and probably an additional two weeks, because now i'm opening the box on august 15th, so we're just gon na we're gon na use all of it and we're gon na enjoy it. This is our strand, oh, that is beautiful. Although i don't really like all those little frayed edges, i really hope. Can you see that? Oh no? I really hope that the group of extensions in this box do not look like this, because, oh snap, i forgot that they send mink lashes, a part of the order. I love that i love receiving extra gifts when it comes to hair. This is what they look like. I'M opening up the bag now yeah nicely packaged in this little bag. Oh, and it has all the details right here, too p828 straight 20 inches and then there's one more thing in here. I don't know what that little box is. Oh, i don't like that sound, it really is empty wow and it was packaged in the cutest little spot like it fits perfectly. I don't know what that was for we're just gon na move on i paid 154.85. I think it's a pretty good deal for real human hair extensions. The color style of these extensions are balayage. Is that how you pronounce that? I really want to google that, because i feel like i don't say that correctly, google pronounce balayage. Oh, i actually said it right right, balayage balayage. I think i got it right the first time now, i'm second guessing myself and there are any hairdressers watching. This know that i am not a hairdresser. Ah, i'm just trying to get by doing my own thing and don't come for me in the comments i tried. I tried and now comparing this to the tester. Oh yeah, the tester is all types afraid like if i'm desperate at the end, trying to find more pieces for my hair, then i'll include that but right now this is definitely better. It'S not like perfect, but it's better and i think after styling it it'll look even better and more cohesive with the whole head. Also don't mind my room. I can't wait to move out and have a bigger space, a prettier space, more of a me space, but in the meantime, i'm just grateful to have a place to live a nice bed to sleep on all right. Let'S get to clipping. I have two four clip wefts two three clip wefts, two, two clip wefts and three one clip wefts. So i think i'm gon na start with one three clip weft. Just because my like nape at the back is a little small. I don't know if that's enough hair at the bottom for the weft to clip on to so i'm gon na take out some more hair all right, much better. I'M gon na take the three clip weft. These are constructed really nicely. They feel thick and i really like the lace. I'Ve never had clip in extensions with a lace weft. I can imagine that that makes it smoother on your hair and it probably doesn't tug at your roots as much so i'm just going to declipify them measure the base of my little head, blendy blend, going in with a four clip weft, i'm just taking little bitty Sections of my hair and then placing a clip on top of that oh yeah, i feel like i - should put a one clip left like here. I'Ll probably put another one clip left up here, but when we get a little higher, i just made space around my little crown perimeter, u-part section for a three-clip weft, there's like still so much black right here. So i might end up going in with the one cleft here: whoa one clip left there, but let's just finish the top first, so the top of your head is probably the most important part. When you have colored extensions, you want to make sure there's enough color at the top, so that it looks blended with your hair. I had to rearrange a few pieces uh multiple times, but i think i finally got it. I think after i rearranged the clips, it's starting to come together now and it looks better um and i definitely think that curling it will bring it out much more. I really didn't want to put extra heat on my hair because, if you've been to a dominican salon, you know that the only way to get this hair silky is to blow dry. It straighten it blow dry, it again straighten extra pieces, but i think i owe it to myself because of all the work i've already gone through, and i owe it to you guys so stay tuned. I'M gon na do my makeup and curl my hair, and i will give you the final result. Okay, so doing my makeup was a struggle. You can see the attitude on my face. I was just not having it and then my hair wouldn't cooperate with me. It was just a process. I did a few curls that i didn't like and so you'll see that i end up changing the pattern, but wait. Why would i concentrate my neck stands out like that? Like look at that? What is that this [ __ ] keep going like like? No don't do what the [ __ ] anyways after my neck, entered the chat. I ended up finding the curls that worked better for what i was going for and you'll see i'm starting to get my energy back. I'M listening to music all is well in the world. Well, not really it's 20 20, but you know what i mean: okay, guys. I think i'm finally done. I don't even want to tell you what time it is i'ma tell you what time it is. It is 2. 16.. 2. 16. I got a little over ambitious today and i figured oh i'm gon na be filming a video and doing my hair. Why don't? I also do two loads of laundry wrong choice, spinta wrong choice. It just felt overwhelming at one point, because i was not getting my curls another thing i think i haven't curled my hair since, like february, and your girl forgot how to curl your girl forgot how to curl. It wasn't until i got to this side, which is my more dominant side, and that's when i started seeing the curls that i like so then i had to run back to this side and try and retouch it. I didn't want them very tight anyways, but i think they're cute little loose, wavy curl things yeah and ignore this little chunk of my hair. All in all, i really love the hair. It was hard figuring out if i was leaving too much of my hair in between or too little that little tester clip from the beginning, with all the like frayed hair. I'Ve added that, because i just needed one more clip, and i don't even remember where i put it. I also think that my real hair was like too clean, too clean to just throw extensions in and too freshly trimmed like newly trimmed hair is just sticking out. Like that, i think i learned a lot. I do think that one pack is definitely enough. It depends on how full you want it, though, because this hair, this hair right here this color, oh wait, hold up girl, is giving me very early, beyonce destiny's child.
