Curly Hair Clip-In Extensions | Alexandra_Nx

Hey everyone welcome back to another video today i will be showing you guys how i put in and dye these gorgeous clip-in extensions to match my hair. So stay tuned and don't go anywhere, so you can see how it's done. This is the clip in extensions and it's almost jet black, so i'm going to be dyeing it to match my hair color, so you're going to need a level 2 bw powder, lightener and you're going to need a bowl to mix it in. I start off putting three scoops of this powder. If i need more later on which i probably will i'll make some more of this mixture, but for now i'm going to stick with three scoops and then i'm going to be adding in a 30 volume lightener developer. You don't want it to be too thick or too thin, so i'm going to start off by putting little by little and then i'm going to be mixing it with a knife. Just because i find that it's easier to mix with it's a little too thick. So i'm going to add a little bit more of the developer for this next step. You want to make sure that you have on gloves and what i'm going to do is just dip my fingers in the mixture and i'm going to be applying it to strands of hair. I'M not going to be applying the mixture on all of my hair because for with my natural hair, i have highlights - and i do have some dark spaces, so i'm just going to try to match these extensions as best as possible. With my natural hair, you want to make sure that you're applying the same amount from top to bottom. Hopefully that makes sense, but you could kind of see it in the video you don't want to have too much of the mixture at the top and then a little bit at the ends of the hair, because then you'll get lighter areas at the top and darker Areas at the bottom - and you want it to be kind of even i'm just going to be repeating these same steps with all of the clip and extensions. Once i'm done applying the mixture, i'm then going to wrap it in aluminum foil, and this will speed up the lining process after about 25 minutes. You want to check it and see if you got your desired color, and this is what it looks like for mine. After 25 to 30 minutes - and now i'm going to wash it, this is what it looks like after i've washed it. But i want certain strands to be even lighter, so i'm going to go through the hair again and i'm going to be applying the mixture to certain strands again. The same thing that i did in the beginning - and i'm just going to be repeating until i'm done with all of the clipping extensions and then again i'm going to be wrapping it in aluminum, foil and letting it sit for another 25 to 30 minutes. Or until you get your desired color make sure you don't leave it too long, because then the hair will break off. This is the final look and the final results i'm going to be applying these extensions on day, one hair only because day one is when my hair is less frizzy and the most defined, and i want it to match the extensions as close as possible. So now i'm going to be sectioning, my hair and small sections and then i'm just going to take one of the clipping extensions and i'm going to clip it to that section and i'm going to repeat the same process and the same steps until i've applied. The extensions on my entire hair - these clip-ins, are from diamond dynasty virgin hair. They have a lot of different hair patterns and if you go on their website under info and hair patterns, they show you pictures of how the hair patterns look.
