What'S up beauties, it's lindsay welcome back to my channel today, i'm going to be showing you guys how i blend balayage extension, so that you're not seeing any of your natural hair and it's looking like it grew straight out of your scalp. This is great for those of you who want to achieve a new look this year, but you don't want to fully commit to dyeing your hair. I feel you i understand. This look is definitely inspired by i love sedai. I love her balayage. Her hair always looks perfect top tier anytime. I see balayage extensions like this nice neutrals in there um and ash tones. I always think of caring. So if you guys want to know how to achieve this, look and know my little tips and tricks for blending keep on watching. So first, let's get into a little unboxing. This hair is from mott hair and if you stay tuned towards the end of the video, you can find out how you can win these extensions yourself all right. So inside the box, you will first get your tester strip. This is what you can use to see if you do like the hair, if you do want to send it back as long as you haven't opened, the bigger package of all the clip-ins you're welcome to still return it, but just use this test to strip first To see if you like, the quality of the hair, the color and everything like that, they also threw in this hair drying. Scrunchie i've never tried one of these before, but i've actually been using this. Every time i wash my hair, i throw my hair up into a bun with this, and my hair dries so much faster. So i do love that and then we've got the extensions themselves, i'm so picky with my balayage extensions, because a lot of companies will have it looking very choppy and it doesn't blend very seamlessly the colors and the different tones that they have throughout it. But this is honestly some of the best balayage i have seen. If you guys saw the video last year. You saw that we had a similar balayage going on, but it was a lot warmer and we didn't have as many cool tones like we have in these extensions. And then these are the seamless extensions. So, as you can see at the top where the wefts are sewn onto the clips, it's very flat, it's a very taped, look so that it lays really flat to your head, alright, so let's get into the application process. So this is what my hair is looking like right now, it's like half straight half curly. I don't, i don't really know, what's happening, um and it actually. I think this was like day three hair. Honestly. I'Ve just been throwing it up in a bun and yeah, not not the cutest, but we're gon na fix that. So when it comes to blending balayage extensions, i want to see more of the tones and the extensions and less of my natural hair, because my hair starts at more of a 1b color and the extensions start at more of a two. I just kind of want to tuck it all away, hide it all away, so we are just going to have some leave out for this application process. So that's going to be the top section that i part and section off and everything else is just going into two braids, so you guys have seen this in a previous. I think it was a clipping extension video i did or no it was the it was. The the weave, the no glue weave no sew weave everything like that. I just bobby pinned it all in we're going to do a similar technique here, so i'm just braiding each side of my hair and then i'm just going to clip those back. Here'S a quick demonstration of what i was talking about. You see how long my hair is, and then you see the color of it. Then you see that those tones are not in the balayage. If i just clip the extensions in how i normally would, in the other extension, you're, definitely going to see that, and it's not going to look as seamless as it could. So that's why we're just going to braid those bottom sections together. First and then i'm just going to use bobby pins to clip them on either side. As you can see, the part isn't straight you're not going to see any of this, so just lay it as flat as you possibly can, and you can also take some gel or hairspray or anything. You want to just kind of slick that down as much as you can, because you do want that, laying pretty flat for where you clip the extensions on all right. So, let's start with a three clip weft. This is what we're just going to use underneath the braid, where i have that crisscross going on in the back. I don't want to start above that because you might see the braid in there, so we kind of want to cover that on the bottom and the top of it. So you won't see it so we're starting underneath - and this is where i'm going to clip the first weft and you won't have to worry about having any of your natural hair poking underneath you know sometimes we'll see those little hairs peeking through. We don't want to see them, so that's why we braided it up after we've done that. I think i took a four clip weft and that's what i'm going to um clip in on top of the two braids, so that one's going on top the three clip weft went on first and so from there. You really just keep clipping them on to your head, filling out all the spaces and making sure you don't have any gaps or anything like that. Now i was sent two packs of extensions. Each pack has 10 wefts in there. I ended up not needing both packs. I only use like a pack and a half, maybe maybe 15. I think i use closer to like 12 or 13. um, so yeah. I really actually didn't even need all two packs if you do have a bigger head than mine and you also have thicker hair. I definitely recommend getting two packs of hair, even if you don't use every single weft, you still have more hair to use and more hair to work with, for a fuller look so, like i said, i only used about 13 clips here and i didn't need a Full two packs, but i was happy to have those extra wefts to work with so that i could achieve my maximum fullness that my head could take all right. So we've reached the top of the hair. We'Ve reached our little leave out area, which is uneven. A little bit but don't mind that um. This is where i'm just going to straighten my leave out, so it can blend a little bit better. Well, a lot better with the clip-ins, and even here you can see if i'm just brushing it just that little section. I did brushing it it blends so well with the extensions, but we still wanted to cover the darker sections. So this is where i'm just going in with the two clip wefts and more of the one clip wefts to cover all of that up all right. So we've got all the clip-ins in. This is what the hair is looking like, blended with my natural hair, and you can see how sleek that is you're not seeing any of my natural hair peeking through or anything like that. So we've got a very seamless. Balayage. Look and from here you can kind of style it. However, you want. I did like it straight, but i wanted to add more body like i said this is inspired by karen's hair and she definitely always has body in her extensions, so um i did just go in with my straightener and just kind of curl. Those ends in this kind of gave it a faux blowout look all right. So after i curled those ends in, i just took a little bit of hairspray sprayed my paddle brush and brush through the hair i wanted to brush through those curls that i did um. Just so it's a little bit fuller and, like i said i wanted that faux blow out. Look, so that's what we're achieving right here, and that is the final look. So thank you guys so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. So, if you're looking to do something new with your hair without fully committing to dyeing it or anything like that, just use these tips and tricks and get some balayage extensions girl and if you're over in a couple weeks, you can just switch it up again and If you're interested in winning these extensions, i've got a link below where you can sign up and be entered into the giveaway so that you can win a pack of the mochaccino extensions. Jess: Omg I’m definitely gonna try this method this helped a lot! when I get my extensions definitely trying this out

Jodi: Hi! Thank you for the tutorial! Your hair is awesome and the cor looks amazing on you. I have black hair and wanna do some peekaboo highlights from dark brown #2 and #6 light brown. Its really hard to find the mixed color and textures that I want with the u tip so I was thinking about buying a weft or tape in, cutting it and pre bonding it. My question is, if you know, should I try to blend the 2 colors into a pre bonded strand, like the tape ins, or leave the colors separate and just place them wherever I think they should go? I hope that makes sense!

Tenacious Dee: I love this method . It’s like a Clip-Weave , just like I do my Quick Weave but with Clips ! Genius

Maria Nolasco: They don’t give you this nice packaging anymore and the eyelashes extensions plus the scrunchie .... I got mine in a little box

Ha Abc: Can this work on long hair? I don’t wanna bleach my hair

JESSi ✨🍒: Bro this trick would’ve SAVED me from looking stupid in highschool

Itsknotsoeasy: Love this

Ellia: Omg you’re a life saver

Anna Harris: The hair is so dry even after deep conditioning and oiling which causes them to get knotted up very easily with wear. They have breakage from just a few inches down and very thin at the bottom where you can actually see the split ends. Oh and the refund policy is crap. You can color match a very nice sample. But if you break the seal to look at all of them, you are not allowed a refund. So pretty much, their refund policy is nonexistent as you cannot see all the hair without breaking the seal.

Rae O: I know this is a late post, but has anyone with thin hair tried this? I’m assuming the leave out hair wouldn’t be thick enough to cover it…. Anyone experience this?

Abigail Tovar: What is the eye palette you used in this video?

Jéssica Whitaker: Amaaazing!

Violin Noobie: I will try this just ordered some extensions to try out
