How To Make Clip-In Hair Extensions | Teresa Michele

Hey Guys! This video will show you how to make clip-in hair extension. I will also show you the differences between a traditional clip and a new clip I found, clip-eez. I personally LOVE the clip-eez clip. You can make your extensions so fast and they are still secure! I will say that you may have a little problem with security if you have a super thick weft. I hope you all enjoy this tutorial! Let me know what makeup looks or other videos you would like to see next!!!

Hey guys, it's Teresa, so this blue background that I have going on right now. It'S just amazing what I just do this to my hair. I just I don't know this is what we got going on today. Okay, today, I'm going to be showing you how to make clipping extensions. Now look I found these at my local beauty supply at MVP and they are called clipping. Okay, I was just like so excited to find these cuz. I was like this is the greatest thing ever so now. I need to try to find them online for you guys, if you guys, don't have them in your area, so I think you guys can get these clippies too, because this is just so crazy. So basically, it's a clip just like a regular clip. Okay, let's see, I don't know you doing this. I may have to like take a picture and then I'll put it right here. It'S a clip. It has some little clamps. You just slide it on wet. That'S it okay, so this is how I like to make mine. I got actually take this hair out. So when I make my clipping extinctions, I like to have my hair just out regular just down and then I'm like. Okay. How far do I want to go so I start. I just pull the rest up. That'S what I do, then. Obviously you need your hair, so I was wrong with hair all right. So then I take my hair. I mean I'm like okay. How far over do I want to go, but I wanted to go all the way to the edge right here. Do I want it to go somewhere like in a little bit? How far me I like to go in a little bit so that you don't see you know the weft in the edge of it hanging off so I'll, just start a little bit in okay. So then I'll take that and then I do a measurement with my finger and then I'm like. Okay, that's as far as I want that back piece to go so then I will just cut the left and you cut it. This way do not go or I'll show you. Let me cut this off. First, don't go up like this and cut your way. Don'T cut your work like that? Okay, because then you'll be cutting off hair and stuff, so you want to just take it from the left cut down boom. There you go right and then I just continue all the way up and I just like long pieces. I do not do short pieces like I don't do like one little short piece over here like this. I don't do one short piece over here and one short piece over here, like you know how sometimes I buy a pack and they come like four pieces right here and then like to one side to one side now, like I just like mine, to be kind Of like a weave so I'll just do a like all the way across and then depending on the length of it. So this one, I would use two clips when I get to the middle of my hair, like when I get to from here to here, because I will do one from here here, like this boom right here. You'Re gon na want to use about four clips. So you'll do one one ending spaced out the other two towards the middle. There a needs four, okay, so guys, I'm just so excited to just you know you guys this cuz I was like, so this right here is the clip that I just found with the little clip hooks on it. This is a regular clip, so you see how at the top there's these holes up there. That is for you, too, so when I saw this, Oh like what so it says, slide the clip down make sure braces are secured onto the web and the extensions are ready to wear the supplies that you're going to need our hair scissors and needle and thread And your clips, this is the packaging that the clip use comes in six, come in a pack, there's a little rubber piece for hair protection and, as you can see, there's the two clips. What you're going to want to do is line the clip up with the edge of the weft like so then you'll lift the prong up and place it over the weft and slide the clip down and you're going to want to hold the edge of the weft. In place when you do that, so that you can pull it up at the same time and then you're going to do the same thing with the other side, you're just gon na lift up that prong and place the left underneath it and you're just gon na Slide that clip onto the weft and there you go it's really secure and the clip does not slide off I'll show you how to remove them in another video. It'S really simple for this method: you'll take your regular clip with the holes that are on the top on each side and you're gon na line the clip up against the edge of the weft. Just like you did the other one and you're just gon na begin to sew, and these holes are large enough for the sewing needle and the thread to go through it. So it's fine and I like to loop, the needle through the thread and pull it tight for added security, and you can sew this. However, you want to, however, you feel is more secure. That'S fine you're just going to want to sew it and just make sure that it's really tight in there. So then, I'm just gon na loop, the thread back through the hole a couple of times and you're gon na want to make sure that you keep this thread straight, because if you don't it will get knotted up and then you're gon na have to cut it Off or uh knot it and it's just gon na take too long and on the second loop through I'm gon na knot it off creating a loop with the thread and sliding the needle through the loop and then tying it off and again. However, you guys knot. It off or tie it off whatever. That'S fine, just make sure that it's secure. So now I'm going to cut the string and then I'm gon na tie two to three knots and then cut off the extra string, and I am going to do the same thing with the other hole and, as you can see, this method takes longer than that Of the clip ease, that is why I love the clip ease, so I've worn them since I made this video and they're both secure. Obviously the needle and thread is secure. The clip ease it was secure. I didn't have any problems at all, so you're gon na want to do the same thing with the other side which I'm not going to show, because I'm sure you guys get the point. But here is the finished product and you can see with the clip ease. You can see the prongs that are on the other side of the weft and with this so in you can't like out this little clip right here, how it just hangs over on the edge. That'S the only thing that I you know how to complaint about, because if you use the regular clip, then all you will have on this side is the wet? So it's whatever you prefer like? Do you prefer this? Do you prefer this? I don't know. I think that this is so innovative and I'm just so excited to try it. I'M so excited I'll show you guys how to install it in the next video cuz. I'M not really gon na install it right now, but I will show you guys how I do that alright I'll see you guys next time. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you guys enjoyed my video.
