Hey guys, i am really needing some caffeine this morning this evening afternoon, whatever it is and if you haven't had this before you are missing out, but that's that's not what this is about. Hey guys welcome back to my channel if you're new, here hi i'm hannah and my channel is full of budget friendly, hair beauty, makeup and lifestyle type of content. So if that is something that you enjoy definitely consider subscribing, because we would love to have you here. Okay, so today i'm going to be reviewing gugu, hair extensions which, if you've been doing any kind of research on affordable hair extensions on amazon, i'm sure you've heard of the brand gugu, and i am very happy to be working with them today. In this video - and i want to give a big thanks to them - they sent me this hair in exchange for review. Now i am still going to be 100 honest with you guys on how i feel about the hair and all of that good stuff. So if you want to know if this is a brand that you can trust, keep watching okay, so i, like literally just got this package in the mail. I'Ve been waiting for it showed up and i'm like all right time to shoot the video fresh content for you guys. That'S that's what this is tada, okay, so here's the box very nice packaging. Let'S just go ahead and open it up, huh frick! All right! I got a few things in the box. The first things that fell out are these little booklets. Here we have the goo goo hair instructions, which is super helpful, has all sorts of stuff in it. Other little paper thing we have is they have a little q? A on the back of this card and the ways that you can contact them, which is pretty cool next, they gifted a pair of eyelashes, hey. I haven't tried glue on ones yet, so these might be the first ones i try. You know thanks goo goo now for what you're actually here for and excited to see the extensions. Let me tell you a little bit about what i got. I got 16 inch. I did that cause. I wanted it to kind of match my hair length and i think that's about a good length for me. So these are 16 inches. There are seven pieces and 120 grams. That'S a good number for a 16 inch from my experience so far with hair extension. So that's exciting and mine came in the color ash blonde highlighted platinum, blonde human hair extensions all right. So let's get our first impressions in, shall we i do see in here they've. Given some extra clips. That'S really nice in case some of the ones on here, fall off or break or whatever. I really hope this color works. I picked it out myself. I don't trust myself. So that's great, let me unattach it from its packaging. It first comes in like this little netting to keep it all together and nice and neat i'm gon na, take it out of that because no longer needed here. It is what do you think about the color? Can we tell yet? Oh, my goodness so far that looks that looks pretty spot on okay, so first impressions. It is weird because, if you've seen any of my other hair ascension videos, this is short for me. I go for the long stuff, but i don't want to have to worry about trying to blend right now, so i got about my length so this will. This is going to be very different first impression of feel they are super soft, really really like really like that, and not like the fake soft. I think it will fit with my hair very well. Let me just let's just say that the thickness is excellent and that's thicker than my hair now and as far as the thickness on the way down. I said this in all my videos and i'm gon na say it again: natural hair gets thinner at the bottom, so really hair extensions if they get thinner at the bottom, which i think most of them would that's completely a natural look, because that's where breakage happens And all that good stuff, but the quality of the hair extensions is how much thinner does it get and how quickly does it start to get that thin? So that's the real test, and this i would say it looks like it's doing pretty good. So i don't know if you're gon na be able to tell from this, but you see it gets thinner, but that's like a normal thinner and it's not like crazy thin. I'Ve had some hair extensions where the bottoms just look like a rat tail. That'S not what you want. These bottoms look really nice and healthy, and though they're thinner than what's up here again they're all gon na do that it's not like super thin, like it dogs, i'm impressed so far. This is going to be good. So if you are interested in trying these out, i am going to have them linked below, but i'm sure you want to see how they do on me. First, so keep watching we'll get there. What i'm going to do now is i'm going to go straighten them. Obviously, because my hair is straight and if i put these in right now, it's just not gon na it's not gon na. It'S not gon na be good. So i'm going to straighten these and i will be right back okay, i am back with some straightened hair extensions these even as i was straightening them falling in love with them. They are so soft and they seem to be really good quality and the color match. Like looks incredible. So they're really really nice, i'm fangirling a bit. I mean, and i just love how the color, and even just like the highlight style matches so freaking. Well, um. Okay, so they have some pretty nice, like their clips, seem pretty nice, so the color matches the hair. You know, so it's not like a dark clip with light hair. It has a really nice feel to it. It has kind of like silicone down here, which is something that really helps this grab onto your hair and not fall off. They have a four clip, weft two three clip wefts, two, two clip wefts and two one: clipped weft; okay. So now what i think we've all been waiting for, i'm going to put them in, and i will show you as i do it. I might be looking this way a bit. This is where my mirror is so heads up: i'm not going to be going into extreme detail on all of my tips and tricks on how i install hair extensions, because i have a dedicated video for it right up here or up here. One of those places - and that gives deep insight into how i install my clip-ins. However, these are different. These are not seamless that video is using seamless, so i am going to be doing an updated video on the best tips and tricks to use regular hair extensions because still plenty of people who use regular. So it might be a little different. So first step section your hair. You want to put them in from the bottom up, because then it's just trust me on that. You don't want to start at the top. You want the least amount of hair as possible down here, but you still need enough for the clips to actually grab hold. You know so maybe something like this. It doesn't need to be perfect, as i'm sure you can see got my alligator claw clip whatever this is called. This is all based off the size of your head, but i i'm gon na go in with the three clip now i'm going to attempt one of my tips in my other video and stack this one at least this layer, maybe not all of them, i'm going To take a two clip left and i'm going to stack it by clipping it onto this, you do not have to do this, but i'm going to see how this goes now. Another thing i do to help hold it in because my hair is thin and kind of like silky. I mean in a way that hair extensions don't like to hold on super easily, so i'm going to put a little bit of hairspray along the base and then you put it in voila wow. These are a lot longer than my hair i mean granted. I was measuring from up here, and this is a bit lower. It'S fine! It'S fine! All! Right! Now! You take your hair down all right now. You do another section right above that one again, you want enough hair there that the next row can clip onto but as thin as you can make it. So you can really get these clips in here. Now i'm going to be going in with the four clipped wefts. This is kind of like the widest part of my head. That'S the only place. This is going to fit voila, they're, feeling really nice and secure, which is good now, another little tip i'll give. You is you, don't want the clips too far close to the front of your head, because then, if wind blows or you know putting hair behind your ear stuff, like that, you don't want the clips right here. Just this, that's not going to be good. Now we have, we have left. We have two one clips and two two clips, so i'm going to attempt to put a two clip here. My hair gets pretty thin up here, so we'll see how we see how we do slight diagonal can help it blend better. Oh, it's not two, two clips. I have a three clip and a two clip all righty roo move on over here. Three clipper. All right, i have two one clips left is how it's looking. Let'S see, where can i fit those? Let me just see if this is a spot that they'll like that works. I might need this one. A little lower, we'll see with these one clipped left. Sometimes you just got ta find where there's a spot. To put them, i put them all. That'S rare! Really! That'S rare and you don't need to have them all in your head. That completely depends on if you're going for wanting to add length versus just really caring about volume. If all you really care about is volume, then if you get them to match your hair length, then you only need a couple clips really to make a difference. I just want to see if i can fit them all, and i could so. What i think i would want to do is long term trim them a little bit, make them a little closer to my length. I don't want to have to wear them all. I think i just wanted. I just wanted some for volume, so in order to do that, i'll need to trim them up because they are longer than my hair. If you can't tell, but my hair is now like quadruple the thickness that it was before - and i freaking love that but like my hair doesn't like to hold curls, if your hair can hold a curl, then you can definitely pull this off without needing to trim Them my hair doesn't like to hold a curl very well at all, and i like wearing my hair straight anyways a lot of times most of the time. Let'S be honest, so i do really want these to be able to be able to be worn straight. So i'll definitely need to trim a little bit, but i think i can do it myself. I don't know, maybe i'll make a video trying to trim my hair extensions because it might be a disaster, but it might not. You know so one of the things that i love about having clip-in extensions is that you don't have to commit to you know the permanent or semi-permanent hair extensions. You can sleep, your normal hair, shower your normal hair and whenever you want a little extra something, even if that's every day, you can just clip them, and it really doesn't take that much time once you get the hang of it, and what's also awesome, is that You can still style your hair in almost like any way. You can position the clips differently based on different hairstyles, and if you get real human hair hair extensions, then you can style them just like your normal hair heat style them whatever, and that's what these are. Remy human hair extensions, which is why i was able to straighten them, and you don't have to worry about them. Melting, like you, still want to treat them well, like you, do your own hair, because it's real hair, so it still can burn it still can have breakage and get damaged just like your hair, so treat it well. Overall, i will say that i do really like these hair extensions, if you can't tell i'm enjoying them to sum up my review quickly thumbs up for sure. I want to give a quick thanks to all of you who are subscribed. Last week we reached 500 of you and i am so thrilled. I know it doesn't sound like much, but that is halfway to my 1000 goal, which is my first main goal, and so it's just super exciting. So i just want to say thank you so much. I want to do something fun and exciting once we hit a thousand. So if you have any ideas, let me know. I think it would be a lot of fun to like color my hair, a funky color, but i work at a church. So i don't think that would really be appropriate. So if you have any other ideas of something fun, let me know down in the comments. I would love to see what you guys think if you found this video, helpful or enjoyable, please make sure to give it a thumbs up, because it really helps show me what kind of stuff you like and what kind of videos you want to see. Let me know in the comments if you've ever tried extensions before and if so, what kind of you tried, because i'm really curious, i haven't tried them all yet, thanks again so much for watching and have a wonderful day.
