Beauty Works Double Hair Set Clip In Extensions Unboxing & First Impression | Hair | Adel H V Brooks

Hello guys and welcome back to my channel, thank you so much for watching and i hope you're all doing well so today, i'm coming to you with a bit of a different video to normal. Today, i'm going to be doing a review on the beauty works clipping. Hair extensions - this is actually take two because i filmed this five days ago, but when i was editing it, i didn't feel like the review was up to par, because the whole point of me doing this. Video was because, when i was doing my research and trying to figure out if i did actually want to invest in the beautyrest clipping hair extensions, the reviews i came across weren't that great, like they weren't, really really helpful and also when i did put in the Clipping extensions: after doing the review, i put out some pictures on my instagram and i got so many questions and a few of the questions. I didn't answer in the review that i filmed so we're doing take two today, so i can answer a few of those questions and give a better review. I also feel like now: i've worn them there's a few little things i can just add in extra um. So yeah, i'm so glad, i'm doing a part two and the first one didn't work out, because this is gon na, be so much better a lot more useful for all of you guys and yeah we're going to get straight into it. So i picked up the double hair set of luxury hair extensions in 20 inch in the shade ebony i got matched through instagram dms with beauty words, which i highly recommend. They were really helpful, really quick and i literally just sent four photos of my hair in natural light and they matched me straight away. I highly recommend doing this just because last year i bought the lulabelles ponytail match myself through looking at pictures and other like bloggers. Influencers who i thought had the same hair color as me, it came and it was not the right color i overdid uni um, because it came on like as i was walking out of my flat. The postman came with it, so i was like okay. Let me take this. I opened it up at uni and the girls are like, oh like that, is not a match girl like that is never any old. Color like i couldn't get away with it at all. So yeah i highly recommend getting match either for instagram dm or you can get color swatches sent to you. You can match it with your hair and then do your order. So, as you guys can see, the hair has a little bit of a wave and a kink in it. But that's just because i've already worn mine and styled mine, as you guys have seen on instagram, but they do come naturally straight. But the hair itself is absolutely amazing. It feels so soft very much like my own natural hair. It is very thick which i absolutely love. That was the main reason why i bought their extensions and i love the different tones, the natural tones within the hair, because my hair has gingery and red tones within it when i'm under sunlight or bright lighting - and you can see these as you guys can see. I'Ve got my ring light on. You can see the different tones there's some ready tones, there's some gingery tones in there and i love how, when i put these in it matches my hair so perfectly, and it looks so natural like you can never tell. I had extensions in, if i didn't say, or if you didn't actually know, i had short hair before. If you know what i mean like, if you saw me out on the street - and you hadn't known me before - and you've literally just seen me for the first time, you could actually think this was my hair just from the color match the thickness. It'S just all amazing, now we're going to talk about the weft, so you get six wefts all together, so you get two full head wefts, which are four clips long. You then get two mid length, wefts, which are three clips long and then you get two face. Framing wefts, which are one clip each um. I actually had to cut my four clip full head weft, just one of them into two separate ones of two clips. I'M just going to show you guys, so this is the full wet. As you can see, it's quite long and i can literally only fit it here because i don't have that much hair on top to hide it. So if i did put another one on top, you would see the clip and there is no other space along with the mid wefts to fit another four clip weft in so i cut mine into two which i'm just going to show you guys now. So i cut mine into two wefts, which works a lot better for me. So i use these as my face framing wefts, and i find that when i want to wear my extension straight, it's a lot better to disguise them. It looks a lot more natural just because the one clip wefts are just thin and you literally just place them right there and it just doesn't blend in as well. So that's why i cut mine, but also the full clip forehead wet was just too long for my head. Okay, so now moving on to the application of the clip-ins, i did find on the first day when i didn't backcomb, where i was gon na apply the clip-ins that they slipped out of my hair, really really easy. However, my hair wasn't freshly washed, so it was a little bit greasier, so it did make sense that they were kind of sliding out of my hair, but on the second day when i did back comb, just the areas where i was clipping in i didn't do The whole load of hair, just because it can tangle your hair and make it really knotty, especially if your hair tangles really really easily um but yeah. That did work a lot better. So i highly highly recommend because the first day it was sliding in and out everywhere. I think i had to take them out and readjust them at least 10 times that whole day that i had them in and it started to get a little bit annoying. But that is my fault, because i do highly advise that you do backcomb it. But i don't want to tangle my hair, so i literally just did the tiniest areas right at the top, but i was just going to apply the clip and yeah it made for a much better fit throughout the day. So that is another thing. So now i'm going to show you guys how i apply the clipping extensions, so you're going to need a comb or you can use your fingers. I find if i've got acrylics on it's better to part my hair. I don't have any on at the minute, so i'm actually just going to try and use my little clippy just to part it and then clip it up. We'Re not going to use a comb. Actually because this doesn't need to be too neat, so i start with my mid wefts. I work my way to the top and then i finish off of using my face framing wefts, whether that be my two clip-ins that i use or if you guys just use the one clip so we're gon na get straight to it. So i think if i had bangs it just wouldn't be a look. I don't know what i'm messing about at this time, but what do you guys think bangs or no bangs? I don't know i like it a little bit, but i also really really don't. I think it enhances my features so much more okay, so we are ready. We do need to comb. I got that so wrong turns out. You are going to need a kind because you're going to need to backcomb the areas that cannot apply the clip. So i'm going in with the middleware first, as i was saying so i know i'm going to need to tease three areas, two at the end, one in the center, just where i'm going to apply my clear and we are going to go in with our first. Our first midway, they're really easy to clip in as well, which is great, okay, and that is our first wefts in which is perfect. So so that is three clips in and already it is really really thick. We'Ve got a nice bit of length. My hair, you can't really see the difference too much, which is amazing. I don't think you can really see it at all, and that is it's straight without styling, which is amazing. The match, as you guys can see, is perfect. I love doing this. It'S what the hairdressers do on instagram, you know, and you see all the shine, i'm not doing it right, but um. Personally, i think if i was gon na, have this curly just for more everyday kind of look. I wouldn't have to put in the face framing rest, and i could kind of style this and curl this - how it is now and get away with it. But if you're wanting a more glamorous look, i definitely add all the clips in and of course, if you're gon na have it straight i'll definitely add all the clips in just so. It looks more natural, more realistic and nice thick full and long. So we're gon na go in with these now. Okay, and that is all the clippings in that was the application done. It'S really nice, quick and easy. It doesn't take very long and, as you can see, you get the immediate results that you want. I'M actually going to zoom out, so you guys can see the full head of extensions okay. So this is the forehead again. I do that they apologi me, which is just one clip each um and yeah. I am obsessed, i honestly couldn't rave about these hair extensions anymore, like if i could wake up every morning and just click and then do my hair. I would so do it, which brings me to some of the questions that i got asked. So a lot of people were just asking about the quality of hair or beauty words because they were either thinking about getting tapes in beauty, works, hair or nano rings. So i have had neither um. I did look at getting both, but then i thought i don't know what's really going on with covid um in terms of. Why am i gon na pay so much for that hair to just stay in the house like it's just really pointless? So i think i'm gon na save that for next year, when i'm graduating and going on more trips stuff, like that, where i'm just gon na make the most of that hair being done um. But for those of you that are in a position to splash out and treat yourself and get your hair done with the tapes and the nanos um, i would highly recommend beauty works hair. It is so natural. The quality is amazing. The thickness is unreal. So, yes, i would definitely definitely highly recommend. Another question i got asked quite a lot was: how does beauty works hair compared to luna bells? Now i can only go by the ponytail which i purchased, in which i felt like that was more of a one-off kind of occasion-wear piece. It was more synthetic i felt and it tangled a lot, and i felt like that was just more of a cheaper option for now, rather than an investment piece like these are, i feel like these are gon na last me, a good while, if i take care Of them and look after them, like i do by natural hair um, they feel like my own hair. They don't tangle, they have a gorgeous shine to them. I can style them up in so many different ways and that i didn't feel like i got with the lulabelle's hair. So yes, i would say this is definitely more of an investment piece, more quality, more luxury, hair, um and yeah. I would definitely pick beauty wax. Hair over lulabelle's, if you are going to invest and want to wear them regularly or nights out for pictures for dates, um just like whenever you fancy really so yeah, i would definitely highly recommend beauty works over lulabelles. Another question i got was how much were they? So these were 200 and 399. I think and then you can get the 10 either with um student discount uni days or with influencer code. So i know molly may has molly10 um for you to get 10 off. So yeah definitely use the codes to get your money off guys because it does help. They also have their own discounts every now and then and have their own discount codes to always check on there. They do do sales quite regularly, um and i'm sure they'll be doing black friday, which is coming up very soon, so yeah definitely keep an eye out. I think for the quality of hair. They aren't really that expensive. I remember paying 180 for hair extensions before that. Were nowhere near as thick they weren't as long the quality wasn't as great um and yeah. Those lasted me maybe like a year, so i have high hopes for these. I might do like a review next year and show you guys how i'm still getting all of them um if they make it to a year. But yes, they are great pricing for the quality of the hair and what you get and pretty average in terms of flipping hair extensions across the board. Okay. So i think that is all the questions that i needed to answer. That is now my full review. I felt a lot happier with this review. I feel like i've done a lot better today, i'm a lot more with it.
