Yay another hair video, so it seems like people are really liking. My short curly hair, routine video that i posted like over a year ago and it cracks me up because i haven't made one since, even though it's my most popular video, i'm not doing a curly hair routine video today. But what i am doing is using extension. Yes, bang come through and cover my acne just like that. I got them on amazon. I will link them down in the description box. I got the 22 inches as well as the 20 inches. I wanted more length than i wanted, like just volume, so these are definitely not synthetic clippings. I actually ended up ordering the wrong color and i was able to dye it when you first get them. This is the actual color that they look. I actually ended up washing my extensions when i first got them, because i wanted them to look a little more natural, so this is an extra pack that i got, which was the the wrong color that i got first, i ended up dyeing it this color. Instead, okay, so i want to do this as a protective style, so i have my freshly washed hair here. Okay, so the first thing i'm going to do is i'm going to start by parting, my hair in the back. So this is what i'm working with in the back. My part might not be perfect, but that's all right all right, then. I part my hair into an even smaller section like that, and then i pin the rest of it up. This is a really important tip. I know that people do this like all different types of ways: some people like braid their hair, some people twist it some people leave it out. I tried to leave my natural hair out and then put the extension over it and when your natural hair dries it's going to poof up and then it's going to stick out. Just trust me on it. It doesn't look cute, i'm going to spritz some more water. Make sure that you're working with wet hair whenever you're styling it okay? So now that i wet my hair, i'm going to go ahead and start off with the kinky curly not today. This is a leave-in, which is the same one that i used in my curly hair, routine video. I love it. The next product that i'm using for this gon na be the almond jar twisting butter, which is another product that i used in my curly hair routine. After that, i'm going to be using the not your mother's curl talk, sculpting gel and the last step is completely optional, but i like to use a little bit of baobab oil. This one is from shea moisture, eek, okay, i said you can either do twists or you can do braids, i'm often to do braids so that my protective style lasts a little bit longer. I want to pin my braids back so that you don't see them. If i'm outside and like the wind blows, you should be six feet away from me anyway, you shouldn't be able to see my braids, you know, so this is what they look like when it's pinned up all right, so i'm going to start off with the one That has three clips. Maybe a black shirt wasn't the best idea for this. I should probably change my shirt, so you can actually see their hair shouldn't. I yeah okay alrighty. So i'm back with a white shirt. I don't know if that's the best idea either but hey whatever it looks like as such. So then you're gon na just do that for the rest of your hair. So for this section i'll do like three braids and then, as i move up, i might do four or five just depends on obviously how much hair you have all righty. So i have my three braids right here. So here's how i'm going to pin mine. So it's going to be towards the middle and then everything will cover it. So you won't be able to see it. So this section i'm going to go ahead and do four braids. So i've come to a point where i don't have enough clippings to fit like an entire row, so obviously we're gon na double up and we're gon na be using two of the three clips. You can also like undo the curls. If you want we're making progress. So my hair, usually parts right here. Actually i usually have a side part. If you part your hair down the middle, then it's going to look different than how i'm doing it right now and you're going to be braiding to the right and then you're breathing to the left, whereas i'm braiding backwards pay attention, because this is very important. I'Ve been coiling the pieces, oil teeny piece, bring it to the back. So the way i usually sell the front of my hair is i like to gel it down, and then i leave a little bit like a little curl in the front. All i'm going to do is i'm gon na brush it out of my face all right, we got ta bring the big mama jumbo okay and we're gon na use the same coiling method that we did before the last piece. You can see that there is nothing showing, don't look, amazing. Look it's looking a little straggly at the bottom. You can cut it. If you want, you can do whatever. Besides that, i am loving it. I would recommend taking your braid and clipping it all the way to the side here, because you're just kind of like crossing them and then once you cross them, then they won't show up. So that's one little mistake i made but hey we're here to learn. I don't really care, i'm also not going anywhere we're gon na go ahead and put our hair in a ponytail, okay, wow look at that. I actually just slipped on a little headband and i think this looks very cute. The headband obviously solves all of our track. Problems, i feel like a little bubblegum drop or something i don't know. Hopefully you have fun with your extensions if you get them so that was it for today's video. I hope that you enjoyed it and i'll, see you my next one. Bye
