Hey guys welcome to this video today we're gon na be styling some curly clip-ins, so we're gon na go ahead and get started. My hair is an old hairstyle, a cell type thing, and it's really dirty. So I'm gon na go ahead and section it off into about six sections and I'm gon na be shampooing and conditioning my hair with the Mallee Moisture Pro quench so yeah. I just did that real quick and I already have my hair sectioned and from ear to ear, so I'm gon na go ahead and start braiding down my hair. So I like to use oil shea butter, so oil and shea butter, and then I'm just gon na apply that to each section and braid it. I did the back section of my head into six, and usually I have been twisting. This is my first time braiding and I don't know why to embrace, because I can take more hair and and create less like less sections, so I highly recommend braiding. If you can, because you'll it'll be less sections and it'll lay a little flatter than twists. I have been twisting, but now we're braiding so yeah, I just parted each my hair down in the middle, and I did about four braids on each side. They can honestly be ugly and gross and not neat, because we're not gon na see them at all. But you do want to make sure that your hair is hydrated and moisturized, underneath so a little water, a little oil a little shea butter and then that's pretty much it. So now, I'm to the front and I'm gon na go ahead and make my part. So I wanted a middle part. Metal parts are the easiest for clip-ins. In my opinion, and I'm just gon na go ahead and section my leave out. So I'm doing the smallest section on my on the top. It doesn't have to be super. It doesn't have to be as thick as you probably think it would, because our hair is curly. It really covers really nicely so I'm taking that big thick over section or thin of a section and then I'm partying a little bit on the corner. So the hair kind of covers a little bit better. So you won't see the side of the clip in those are my tingles I hadn't to tingled yet so yeah? That'S why it's like a little tingly. So I have the top section and I'm just going to part I mean I'm gon na pin that to the side and then I'm taking a little bit at my ear. Just in case I want to like I move it back, took my ear down. Put my hair behind my ear that will prevent you from seeing any of the clips, but you really since to cut hair so big and curly. You really don't have to leave that much hair out, which is why I like it so much so I'm just gon na go ahead and braid it just like. I did the back with the same border of products and only leave out that top and that side. You can leave out more on the side I did when I first started wearing these clip-ins I did, but I found like I don't do too much, so I don't have to be like super cautious of like the wind blowing or doing flips and stuff. But if you do, I would suggest leaving out like a whole side section and in the back, if you want to be super secure, but you don't have to I'm also trying to make this as like protective or a little manipulation or whatever as possible. So I did the one side and, as I can see, I have three braids on the side and just to leave out just like that and I'm gon na go ahead and repeat it on the other side, so I've braided all of it up and now I'm Just gon na be pinning it with bobby pins. You just want to make sure it gets. You know secured and flat in the back. It doesn't have to be extremely flat and when your bobby pin and don't pull your hair too tight and don't make sure the bobby pin isn't like really scratching at your scalp, because then it'll hurt throughout the day, so yeah just to make it as comfortable as Possible now this is the most important part we're gon na get to defining the curls, so they blend. So I'm gon na take the meal styling cream. I'M gon na have everything linked in the description cuz. I don't remember the exact names and everything, but so basically for the leave out. You want to take some kind of defining styling, curling cream or whatever, and apply that and get it as defined as you came with that product, whichever product works. The best for your hair will be perfect for this, so you apply that and then you apply some got to be glued. I'Ve only used this gel for this hairstyle just because it has such a defining and like holding power. So you apply that to the entire section, and this is going to like really stretch out your curls and allow them to not shrink up, because the hair is yes. It like matches kind of like a four-week 4c texture. But it's also kind of like stretched at the top, so I just wanted to be able to her to blend and not really shrink up on us, because the hair won't really shrink up, but your hair will so then the most important part is to take your Hair stretch it back and pin it back so it can stretch you don't have to pin it to where it's like straight. You can still be like crinkly, but we want to make sure that our hair stays elongated. So I'm gon na do this to each section. The top and the sides, it's really simple and you can also apply. I had already previously applied oil and shea butter to these sections, and then I went in with the styling cream and the Jo so make sure you protect her hair as well. So, just laying down the edges a little bit, I'm gon na take these wrap strips and apply it. So here's the hair, we're gon na get into the hair. This hair is from me launch hair on Instagram. Their website is mélange, hair and I've been using this hair since June. I just got a new set, so this is the new set up and the new set I'm about to install right now. But if you follow me on Instagram, you know I've been wearing these. A lot, and so I'm finally making a youtube video about it. So this is the new set of clip ins that I have. It is the coil curl. I'Ve always only used the curl coil coral. This is what it looks like straight out of the box. It'S 22 inches and it is the ultra set. So this set of clippings it's like a little thicker, and this is longer than the ones that have been using before I had been using the 18 inch, regular density so yeah. This is what they look like right out of the box and I'm just gon na go ahead and separate them. They are, you know, like it's curly hair, so it's a little tangled honestly, just like your hair would be so you just separate them, and then I'm just gon na go ahead and go walk I'll wait. So this is what the hair looks like straight out of the box. As you can see, the texture should be matching pretty well. This is where the clips look like the clip pins are like it's nice. It kind of has like a fabric ribbon at the top, and then it has to clip. So you don't really feel anything on your scalp like anything catching and I'm just gon na go ahead and co wash these clip ins with this conditioner from Carrie care. Again, I have it in the description, and this is what they look like: freshly Co washed and only finger tea tangled. So now, I'm just gon na take out the take off the wrap strips. It had been sitting for a few hours, and I do want to say that if you are doing a wash and go look where you don't want to have to braid a twisted clip-ins, you need to let this leave out completely dry and then just blend. Your hair, with the clip ins that you might have liked to find with the product, but you have to define the clip ins with the product, or else the hair will kind of matte up, because you just let it like run free just like. If you I did that with your real hair, you have to apply a product to it, so you don't have tingling issues so yeah, but if you want a brighter twist and style it, then you don't have to let it dry all the way we're going to. Let it dry once we finish braiding. So now I'm just clipping in the clips on this install, I did put a whole perimeter, so I put the side pieces upside down, so they kind of go with the wind or when I'm walking and I like to make sure I have the perimeter done and My top leave out section, so I'm never like having to feel like. I ran out and I feel like these are the most important sections. So I just cook these in first, so I know that everything's covered that's the most important, so I always clip in that top section with the leave out first, because that's the most important part to me, but as I can see my leave out now, it's already Blending in with the clippings and after we stretched it a little bit so it did it blends with defined curls very well, so I'm just gon na go ahead and clip in the rest. This is really up to you and the way your head is where you want to put each one and make sure you know you can, if you can't really tell just get a mirror and look in the back and always just look at all the angles as You'Re clipping it in, but it's pretty straightforward and it's really simple and since the hair is curly, it's really foolproof. So this is what they look like all clipped in. Please don't leave it. Looking like this. Please please please now we're gon na get to styling it, and I'm gon na take this curling gel jelly from Kiera care and apply that to each section and I'm taking like one row of like one clip basically and some extra wet line. Extreme gel I've been using this gel on this hair for the since I've been using the hair, and this show really works with the hair. So I highly recommend that Jo and then I'm just braiding each section, so I'm just braiding like one row like one layer of clip in if that makes sense, I am braiding them while they're in my head, you could do it like off your head and just Braid, the top layer, if you want sometimes I do that too - it just depends on what you want to do really a few days later. After this I did we braid them to restyle the hair, and I just put clip them onto a hangar and braided them off my head. It'S much it's quicker that way. Sometimes so you can do it that way as well, but I would recommend braiding the leave out clip. That'S next to you leave out with your hair. So I would put that one in my in your head and then break that one so we're getting to the top section, and it's really simple: all you have to do is make sure your hair is neatly braided or twist it in with the clip in you. Just want to interest laying flat and let you pull it really taut, so you can get as much blending as possible. This is the first time that I did a braid out with these clippings, but if you've seen my Instagram post, I've done a flexi rod set and a twist out the Flex rest. I was one blow dried, so the twist out. I just did the exact same way as this, and it works perfectly both ways. So, whichever look you're going for both will be very cute. So that's with one side Brady and I'm just gon na go ahead. Gain finish, the other side, okay, so all of the hair is braided and originally I was going to just do this in the same day, but I ended up just letting them air dry. I'M cuz. Usually I sit under the dryer, but I went ahead and just let these air dry and let them do their own thing and it didn't take long so yeah I came back the next day. This is what they look like all dried ready to take down, and I'm just going to take some oil in the oil of your choice. I'M just using this one, because I have it so yeah. I had to use a rat tail comb and get them out because I raised them so tight, but, as you can see, it's kind of like a little braid out pattern. When you get to the top sections with you leave out, you want to make sure that she, like the most careful with these, because you don't want to make your hair frizz out too much. I did some of the sections in this did get first out a little bit, but that's ok because I like that, look and it just kind of makes it like more like a natural Messier type of look, but on the leave out sections you want to make Sure that you leave it as untouched as possible. Just so your hair can stay in that braided, blended state. That makes sense. I'M not sure. If that's the right word now, I'm just going to separate each section flip it out. I did kind of separate a little bit to make sure some pieces did get a little frizzy just because I wanted it to be like kind of big on the first day, because I have that problem at the end of the video you all will see how It looks on the second day, but this hair, like it does age well so the next day it looked even better in my opinion, but we'll get to that in a second. But now I'm just kind of picking it out a little bit separating the curls. I'M trying to get everything laying properly and I'm just applying some oil to my edges before I go ahead and lay them with the style factor edge booster and I was rocking to see, though, like my leave out is blended. Like the serum I heard - and I don't think so - I'm just kidding but like honestly it does look good yeah. So I really like this hair. I know my Instagram post, I am partnered and they are sponsored on my Instagram, but that but like this, video isn't um. So I do wear this hair often, and I would not talk about it so much if I didn't like it honestly, like. I wouldn't put that like this much time and effort and just something that didn't work or I feel like wouldn't work for y'all and didn't work for me. I thought that would just be a waste of time. So when I do talk about this hair, everything is genuine. I do get asked if I'm serious about when I say stuff and yes, I am so yeah. I just applied my scarf and let that sit for a second and I'm just gon na go ahead and just kind of reposition, all the hair, because sometimes when you braid it or twist it, it kind of gets been pulled in one direction. But I'm just trying to make sure everything's covered, and now this is pretty much the finished product took the scarf off and everything's laid everything's blending. Well, I will say my hair naturally blends with this hair like my hair color, and that's really the keys to blending any kind of extension. So if your hair color does not match, please make it match dye the dye, the hair dye, your hair, color, your hair bleach it whatever you have to do, because that's gon na make it blend that much better. So the coloring I didn't have to color. But if you need to please go ahead and do that, this is what they look like on my phone camera. I do always like to do like a little check, make sure how the pictures looking good but yeah, even on the phone front facing camera. Everything looks fine yeah, I mean like they look good to me so so I know you're gon na ask: how do you sleep at night? How do you sleep at night - and this is how I sleep at night most days, I will take out all the clip ins and pin my leave out and keep to keep it stretched and just go to sleep, because I like to be as comfortable as possible And then I just reclip them in in the morning. So that's what I'm doing right now, but if you don't want to worry about, if you want to be like a little quicker in the morning, you can just take out all the equipment's, except for this top row that you blend with your leave out. Just take all those out Yury braid, your leave in section with that top clip in and so then you won't have to worry about re blending or anything. But as long as you keep your leave out stretched at night, so it doesn't shrink up your hair. Will pretty much blend, or at least minded, and that's after like one day so after this? This is the second day. Maybe after on the third day, I would definitely Reeb raid. They leave out with a clip in and probably rewrite that clip ins - not really you wouldn't have to rewrite the clip ins pari. Braids here leave out. Just for you know, that's just my preference, but as long as you keep the leave out stretch, everything will go in pretty nice sleep and I did have a little flaky in the Friant because I applied like a way to show off camera. I didn't see all of that, but I have like way too much so don't apply too much of the edge control with that gel, but I just put some oil on it and it was all good. I think it looks very natural and I like it to look a little messy. I hope you all enjoyed this video and I will see y'all in the next one. Bye

Blake Jael: Happy Saturday Guys! ✨ I included a lot of information in the description box so check that first!  Also if anyone knows the song in my new intro just know I love you! like fr fr <3

TheGhettoSnobSeries: Someone commented and said that your background music and talking is too much and I have to disagree. I think the music is pleasant and you talked just enough. Great tutuorial! I’m going to attempt to try this method with my clip ins. First time. Wish me luck. ✨

Midori: Your hair is thick, full and beautiful! One of your “sections” is my entire head It takes ENORMOUS efforts to “hide” the clips weft from being visible in my hair. I’m so over it The struggle is real for low density, fine thin hair

Zesty Zee : Girl let me tell you how I had clip ins installed and after watching this video I took them right out because this looks amazing!! I want them to look like yours so I’m gonna follow your method step by step

Nelva: This is awesome. I can’t braid so I just do plays too. I’m not into wigs or sew-ins so this is a great option for me! Thanks!

Ashley Mickell: I just won their giveaway so I came back to rewatch this so I'll know how to install them!

More Gold, Many Rubies: I would just do a tiny flat twist on the leave out because wash and gos make me nervous lol. Ion trust them

Aneesah Cameron: Yesss love it and your install process is so good! Legit the best clip in install I’ve seen on here. I always struggle with my sides but I like that method you did. I been rocking headband wigs but I miss my clip ins, I’ll definitely be getting back into them soon.

kayla: You give me faith to do this one more time my leave out is never blended right

Fab Beauty: I NEVER watch videos longer than like 7 minutes and I watched this all the way through! Love your channel!

Ms. Jackson: Love this hair...so obsessed! I do the bare minimum because I don't want to do twist out to my own head lol I just twist my leave out and blend it in once my clips are in. I love the way you did your hair

AngelaYessire: Your hair is alwayssss on point love all your vids ❤

Joia: The best curly clip in tutorial. Period

TKS93: Putting a semi-permanent on the clip-ins today! That “1b/2” definitely veers more towards a 2, and my hair is *dark* Excited to try mine!

Jusmsrob: So detailed. Thank you

Coco: I bought this hair cause if you and I love it! Only the coily 18 inch weft though. 1 bundle cut in half is all I needed for my low bun/ponytail! I definitely don’t think girls with super kinky Afro hair could use this style though unless they used heat on their natural hair cause it’s not as kinky/coarse as I thought. I could never wear it as it comes straight out of the box either. I have a 4b4c mixture and it looks good if I do a twist or braid out, on stretched hair.

𝐸𝓂𝑒: When you do the perimeter of your hair around the leave out and the back which clips ins do you use ?
