Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel today I'll be showing you how I achieve this braid out with clippings featuring curls curls. If you want to see how I achieved this look, stay tuned, a hair featured in today's video is from curls curls. It'S their kinky curly 3c for a clip-ins in 20, inches in the natural color, and it comes with two bundles as well as some extra Clips just in case any of them fall off. Here'S how the hair looks straight out of the package before shampooing it. The package also contains a care instruction pamphlet, just showing how to care for your clippings as well as install them, and the line I'll be using to wash my clippings and my hair is the curly fake SOG line and before I apply any product, I'm just gon Na wet the clippings to get them nice and moisturized and open up that cuticle and then I'm gon na go in with the shampoo and the 1-minute texture. Treatment and you'll see that I'm not running my hands through it, but rather just get in the clip and clean all together, making sure that I'm not singling it up and I'm just gon na apply the conditioner and let it sit. While I wash the other bundle - and I kept them together to make it nice and easy, this texture treatment only goes on for one minute, and it is amazing both on my natural hair as well as the clippings you see, I did have a little bit of Shedding but that's expected, especially when the air has been bagged up for so long, and then you see that I'm squeezing out the excess water after rinsing with cold water and I'm putting both sets of clippings in their own terry cloth, fiber towelette, so that it dries Without any snagging or frays, and I'm just gon na repeat that process, but the same exact products on my own hair, this wash they was long overdue, but these products will always bring my hair right back to life. Lg did not sponsor this video, but I just really love this line and I've been using it for about a month now. So after doing a cold rinse on my own hair and wrapping that up in my terry cloth towel it wiping off my face, we're gon na go on to the install of product. Now I am letting my hair down imparting it as I want it to fall. Whenever my braid out is done and you'll see that I just put it in about four sections just to keep it managed and under control, it's just easier when you work in sections. This is the leave-in conditioner, also on the curl effect line and you'll see that I'm also going to use their curl definer. I noticed that when you're using clippings and trying to mesh them with your hair, it's just best to use the same line both on your natural hair, as well as the clippings everything just meshes better together when you're using all one line. So, in addition to the leave-in, like I said, I'm using the curl definer as well as some eco styler argan oil gel just to seal everything in, and I need to make sure that my hair stays nice and moisturized because if it dries is not gon na Change formation so go in with the clippings in addition to the products I'm using my Denman brush just to detangle, and you see that or you're going to see that I separate a natural part with my fingers rather than a comb. So it's not super clean open up. Those clips put them in close the clips and then apply the same products in the order of leaving curl, definer cream and then gel to seal it. All in after I install a clip and product, I bring down some more hair with my finger once again to keep everything nice and natural. This clip, unfortunately, got super blurry, but you'll be able to see later in the video that I'm gon na repeat the process, and I like to do two sets of Clips before I do. My first set of braids, so natural hair clip natural hair clip as some product in and then do some braids for your braid out, and I just wanted to bring you all a different method. You know that I have two other clipping videos, curly clipping videos. If you've been watching my channel for a long time and in one video I had no leave out all my hair was up and then in the other video I mixed my hair, but it was a wash and go. I wasn't even gon na play myself and try to do a wash and go in this video, because I know my hair isn't in the best condition, just because I've been doing a lot of blow. So I wanted to try something different with the braids out back to the instruction of the video. Once everything is detangle, you just want to braid it down as if you're braiding your natural hair for a braid out and go on to your next section. A couple of pointers about the hair - it did have a smell after initially unpackaging it, but once I washed and conditioned it that went away and then also I wanted to note that I was nervous about going under the dryer with these metal clips. I thought that they would burn my scalp, but they did not and if they're installed properly, then they will stay intact and they will not burn you from this point. Until I go under the dryer, the process is pretty self-explanatory, so I'm gon na shut up now and let you all watch you just want to make sure that your hair is nice and saturated, apply your leave in your cream and your gel do a clip in On top of your natural hair, bring it together by detangle in braid it up and continue that process all the way up until the top of your head, and we are. Finally, on the last braid, I will say that this process was a little more tedious than I expected, and it took maybe a little over an hour to install these braids with the clip ends. You see, the ends are super curly and I was gon na apply. Some perm rods, but I couldn't find them. I had 13 braids all together before I go under the dryer. I'M just gon na apply some mousse and before doing that, I'm gon na squeeze out any excess moisture from the product in the water to help my drying process go a lot smoother and I went under the dryer after air drying for about 40 minutes and I Set under the dryer for about two hours now for the takedown, I'm using some organic virgin, coconut oil and applying that all over my braids before taking them down in this clip, my hair was about 90 % dry. If I had it my way, and if I could do this style over, I would sit under the dryer for the same amount of time and continue to let it dry overnight. This braid out would have turned out and lasted a whole lot better if it was 100 % dry. We all know that if we set a style and take it down before it finishes drying 1,000 %, then it's not gon na hold and I could see where was gon na go if I let it dry 100 %, but I'd take you some really good results. That'S the only thing I would change in the future is making sure that it is 100 % dry. I can't stress that enough, and after smoothing all my edges here are the finished results. I will say that leaving out your natural hair in between the clippings gives a fuller look, but in the future I will probably just do a leave out section up top and put all of my hair up and let the Clippers just do their job. But it was cool to try a different method. I hope you all enjoyed it be sure to check out those curls I'll list all their info in the description box.
