How To Define Curly Hair Extensions► Wigs, Weave, Clip Ins

Hey curlfriends Today, I'm going to show you guys how you can define your curly hair extensions., I'm starting off on a really old wig.. You guys remember this wig from my Kinky Curly How to Wash Extensions video. This hair has been through it., I'm just going to show you guys how I revive it using my conditioner and water mixture., I'm going to section off a medium sized section. In my spray bottle. I just have my favorite conditioner as well as some water.. You want to fill up the spray bottle with mostly water and just add in a few drops of conditioner.. Now that you've got your mixture, it's going to be super easy to define this hair.. You want to make sure that the hair is extremely saturated. That way. You'Re able to detangle the hair. Using your denman brush you're, going to start from the bottom half of the hair and begin detangling.. You definitely don't want to start from the roots, as the tangles will pretty much just matte up and knot up by the time you get down to the ends of your hair. So start off and take your time. Make sure that you allot a lot of time For this., It's going to take a while, especially if your hair is the condition that mine is.. I haven't touched this wig in a very long time. Start at the bottom and work your way up, the extensions. Be sure to hold the hair at the root. That way, you avoid any breakage or pull the entire track off of the wig. With your heavy yanking with the denman brush., You can pretty much emphasis the curl with the edges of the brush.. That is why I am twisting my wrist to make sure that the edges of the brush are touching the hair.. It'S just going to help to emphasize and create that curl.. As I get closer to the front, I really want a lot of height and volume to these curls., So I'm going to bring the front curls all the way up to the front. As the hair dries. I'M going to move the curls towards the side of my head.. You guys will see it later., But I promise you guys it's going to add so much more height and volume to my curls. It'll. Look so much more realistic and there will be so much more body to them.. I just finished, defining the curls., I'm just going to reposition the curls.. Most of them are pretty much dry.. You can already see that the right side has a lot of shrinkage. Already.. You can already tell that the hair is a little bit more poofier and bigger on the right side.. I just continue to reposition the curls and move over the bang towards the right side.. This is what I end up. With.. My hair is pretty much 75 % dry., I'm just going to let it continue to air dry so that I don't disturb the curls and they can just dry naturally.. I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial.
