Hi Sharon Danley here with another Two Minute Tip. This week. It'S about curly, hair and extensions that go with it. Since embracing my gray hair. I'Ve noticed that my wave is a little stronger than it was when I was coloring it. So I've decided to embrace the wave or curliness of it as well, and I'm experimenting with a number of things around sort of the wash and wear or the curly girl look and I will be sharing those as I go along.. However, I have a little trick up my sleeve as usual., Because my hair is on the finer thinner side. Of course, I need to add some extensions to areas that it isn't as full, as in others like on this side of my head. My hair is a fair bit thinner now than it is on my other side, so I put extensions in or one or two extensions in just to balance out the look.. So I have taken regular extensions that I have and I've deep waved them. Here'S an example of one which is a little lighter and an example of another one, that's a little darker.. This is one I we're close to the front, so I have a strip of white on the side.. What I use to get the deep wave is together. Glass, a deep wave curler.. You can find these at walmart in all kinds of places, but it's a deep waver. You can see. So i just put the hair inside the waiver move down the shaft move down the shaft till i get the look. I want. The thing is in the extensions of course they hold. So when I'm finished at night I just put them all together. Hang them up in the closet and they're ready to go for it, the next time.. So here's an example of placement.. I have one on each side right here, like so. And as I said, I have it so that the white, because I am whiter in the front - I have that fit closer to the front. So I just lift up place with a toupee comb, snap it shut and there I go.. Now. Of course, I also have one in the crown with a bumpit and because these are shorter extensions, I'm having a lot of trouble finding longer ones, but I think I think I've got that problem solved and, of course, I'll make a video on it.. So I put i put a set up at the top and then I put another string along all about just by the occipital bone or just under the occipital bone, depending on the length of my hair, so that that way I can have the extensions go. All the way down., So it's just one piece across the top one piece across the occipital bone and one on each side. If I feel that I need it. And of course, like my other extensions, I can use these little pieces. If I want to wear my hair, let's say inside pony, I just clip these extensions in here wrap the hair around gather it together, and then I have longer hair so that I've got a side ponytail. Let a few tendrils hang out and there's another look. Or what I can also do again, because it's really fast and easy just grab all the hair up into a ponytail put a clip in the back. Let the hair just bounce around, as is let anything fall out that wants to, and I've got another look. And in following the curly girl. Look, I use curl keeper or I'm using it right now.. When I shampoo my hair, I just ring it dry. Then I put the curl keeper in it scrunch it up, let it dry and I use roller clips actually to I clip in a few at the top like so maybe three or four, let it air dry and when I take it down, it's pretty much like This., Throw in the extensions or whip my hair up and it's fast and easy and there's no heat. And yet I have another look in my hair wardrobe.. Now I'm hoping to be acquiring some extensions that are going to be pre-curled to this kind of wave that I'm expecting to get soon. I will be giving a review on them because I think it will be even faster and easier than what I have currently.. Anyway. That'S the skinny on curly, hair and embracing it.. If you've got some curls or you've got some ways, it's worth while experimenting and seeing what you can come up with and, of course, there's lots of information on Ms Google and YouTube regarding the curly haired look. Anyway. Hope that helps. Fast Easy and Oh So Chic. We'll see you next time.

Jeanette Silhouette: Love this beautiful grey look you've got going on!  Makes me want to just go natural myself but I think I would have to move away first....lol.  All the best :)

Hunnie B: Hey Sharon.........love this wavy look on you, and those extensions are awesome !  Thanks for sharing, happy week-end, take care.

Bonnie H: Love the waves and the look they give you! My hair is poker straight but I am not coloring it. It is about 60% grey and 40% medium brown.  I am in process of letting it grow longer because I think I'll have more styling options.  You are providing that for me!!

Linda Castro: love the tips for wavy/curly hair.  looking forward to the review on the pre-curled extension.  Just starting to grow out the gray, and don't want to cut my long hair, if I don't have to ;-)  great tips -- now to just buy a couple extensions and try an experiment or two.  My hair is very thick and cut in layers (like a shag?) right now.  Some gray at temples and salt and pepper on top, but the rest is left over coloring (very dark brown-black) so I'm not sure how to begin -- short lengths? longer?  hair is below shoulders, but layered.

Lu G: I love your hair wavy! Isn't it so nice to have options?! After flat ironing or using velcro rollers for years, I had just begun to embrace my curly/wavy hair, but then, about 6 months ago, I decided to cut it! My hair dresser gently suggested that I not wear it in its natural state at the length I have it and I kinda agree with him. It just doesn't seem to work! Anyway, I'm thinking about letting it grow a bit just so I can wear it curly. ♥

barb coll: Your hair looks very nice wavy. Thanks for all the tips!

Dinahsoar: Love that look on you...gorgeous.

fritz fequiere: where did you get clip in gray extensions. Can you do a video on extensions for short curly gray

Beth Lincoln: I need to get myself one of those wave making tools. I can't get my extensions to hold a curl.

rxstrmom: OK...I think I need to go wavy again!  xoxo patti :)

peodigy: HELP!  Have you found silver curly hair on wave for weaving in 12" or longer that is not ombre?

Margaret Chabot: You look so cute with your hair up your so beautiful

Tena Haile: Orbital bone? That's the bone around the eye socket, right?
