Welcome to the video everybody, so i only wash my hair about once or twice a week and i'm always doing different hairstyles. I get a lot of questions on some of the buns that i do so today. I'M going to give you hairstyles for dirty hair. Now you can do this if your hair is not dirty, but these are my go-to when my hair is past the point of wearing it down or at least fully down, so what you're gon na absolutely positively need for this video is hairspray, i'm using the monet Hairspray, it's so good a dense brush. This brush has been in my family for probably 15 years. My dog chewed the bottom of it, but it's so good that you just can't get rid of it. Little clear elastic bands wow! I look crazy. I'M also gon na have a regular brush this one's from tangle teaser and a tail comb, and the last thing you're gon na need is rubber bands, quick commercial break, because i want to thank poshmark for sponsoring today's video poshmark is the leading marketplace to buy and Sell fashion you can shop over 9 000 brands in every size and score up to 70 off retail. You can sell and make money from home and list your items for free. Now. This is really exciting because before i ever worked with poshmark, i used it myself and i still use it all the time you can go back on my closet, cleanouts and see that i always sell my stuff on poshmark. For me, this is the easiest way to clean out my closet. It also encourages me to do it when i don't feel like it. I'M like wow. I have so much money sitting in my closet. Why don't i just freaking, sell them and then i go through it and i'm always happy in the end, my favorite part about poshmark is shopping. My favorite brands, like lululemon white fox boutique, urban outfitters for up to 70 off retail prices, and another great thing is that there are so many luxury brands on there and they're available at affordable prices with complimentary authentication by poshmark for purchases of 500 or more. I am going to show you a few things that i'm selling on my poshmark right now. So the first thing is this really really cute cover up for a bathing suit. It has an open back adjustable, it's a size, small and i just love the colors. The second thing is this amazing shirt from o'poli that i never got to wear the sleeves are freaking everything i feel like. I need to be in a castle in this, but unfortunately i got it in a size too small, so it doesn't fit around my back and i've been trying to get anyone. I know to take it off my hands, but it's not really anyone's style. Besides mine that i'm close to so now, you can go shop it if you'd, like these amazing sweatshorts, you could throw these on and literally wear them every day of summer. If you want another cover up, these are very sheer. So to me they qualify as a cover-up, black thin material, so you won't be like sweating on the beach hands and then this matching top that crosses around your body, so freaking gorgeous. Then you can wear this as a cover up to the beach or you can just wear this as an outfit. It'S very wrinkled up, but it's so freaking cute. It'S like this romper, but it's really really wide and comfortable. I'M gon na be doing a little giveaway on a select few of these items. They'Re gon na be around like three dollars, so go check it out, see which ones are cheap if you like them, get them so make sure you download the poshmark app. I would also like to add, when downloading the app use the link in my description. It helps me out a lot go check out. My closet, like i said, i'm doing a little giveaway i'd love for you guys to join and take these pieces off my hands that need a new home because i'm not treating them properly here. They'Re not seeing the light of day, and i need you to give them their shining moment again. Thank you so much poshmark and make sure you download the poshmark app all right. Let'S get back into the video wow we're just gon na part it down the middle okay. So obviously my hair looks like right, so this should be proof that you can make cute hairstyles out of a bad hair day. So, for the first look, we're gon na do something really simple: i'm gon na go in with the tail comb, make a nice part to the middle of the head and do the same thing. On the other side, i'm very anal about my hair, i'm very anal about my parts. Everything has to be perfect. I'Ve been that way forever. I'M gon na take one of my rubber bands and just loop, my hair through here and then take the bottom half of the hair and also section it off just so. We don't get confused here. Okay, so take that dense brush. Keep that part in the middle of the hair and you're going to just take the top section of your hair and brush that back slick it back now, if your hair is greasy like mine, you're, not gon na need hairspray right away like when you're just forming How you want the hair to be because it's gon na probably stay in place? The reason why i keep the middle part is because i feel that when you pull the hair back, then it can give you that effect of like looking a little bit like you have no hair. So i like to always keep the part in front so you're, just gon na rush down and out with these pieces like this down and out and then the back is going to get a little bumpy. You can just pull that straight back. It might take you a few tries to get this perfect now you're, going to take your hair spray and spray all over and now do the same thing just brush it over tight. Just try to slick it back as much as you want if you're crazy. Like me, it may take you a few tries to get it. How you like a tip for getting bumps out is lightly, holding the ponytail and kind of just lightly going over the areas that you don't like, and then sometimes you can just smooth it over with your hands. Now that you have it secure, you're gon na go in with the hair tie and it's gon na get up, but you go back in with your brush. You brush over it as much as possible and if you feel there are places that are not fixable by just brushing over like maybe over here, we have some issues, you brush it, how you want it. If you want to take the ponytail out, you can just go back in with the hands and try to push it down as much as you can. It'S all about just going back and forth. Everyone asks me to do stuff like this and i'm like listen. I don't have a routine where i can just go one two: three, it's perfect! No. I sit here for 25 minutes every time i slip my hair back and i can't help it. It'S just how i am hairspray that up slick, it's like it's like it and also another amazing thing is i don't necessarily love my hairline. I don't hate it. We don't have issues with each other. Sometimes she doesn't look good okay. It does go back a bit right here so doing the part down the middle covers all of that. If you pull the front pieces down and back so that's great now, i'm gon na take out my bottom half. Obviously it's very frizzy, so you can either curl it straighten it blow it. I think blowing it out looks really nice like this, but i feel like this should be a heatless vibe, so i'm just gon na take my olaplex oil and just run it through. So this is simple cute and fast. If you'd like to you, can take this piece of hair, you can braid it or you can do this fun thing that my mom likes to do to me. Let me turn around for you and you're gon na twist them like so then you're gon na keep twisting them and now twist them together. So your key is to make sure your hair is twisted on its own before you twist the two pieces together: here's where the elastics come in, so here's what it looks like i feel like it just makes the look so much more fun and it's so easy. I know a lot of people, don't know how to braid. So this is an easier version of a braid and it's different and cool. The next look, i'm gon na show you is so cute. I did this recently and i had a lot of people loving. It you're gon na take your tail comb and you're going to part your hair all the way down to the back of your neck. You got to just do your best here, it's very hard to make a perfect part on your own, since you obviously can't see the back of your head, while doing it take one side of your hair and just tie it off to the side. I know i know you can kind of see where i'm going here. I promise you, it's not childish. I promise you. It looks cute. Just trust me on this. I did this for the first time just recently this year and i was a little nervous, but i ended up absolutely loving it and there's so many different things. If you have not caught on by now, there's so many different things you can do with pigtails. Okay, that's what we're doing so! We'Re gon na brush this directly back to give you that pulled back, look and we're doing the same thing with the bangs, we're pulling them down and back and then in the back, we're just making sure that there's no bumps! Don'T forget about underneath i like to tie these eye level. You can obviously do them wherever you like them best, and i don't like to do them too far. Behind my head, i like to kind of see them on the side. Okay, see it's actually cute and, like i don't feel like a little girl. I just feel cute and now you're gon na have to do your best to get these. Even i think i did it pretty well, so you can leave them like this. You can curl them, but my personal favorite thing to do is a braid, but here's the trick. You cannot do a tight braid, at least if you have thin hair like me, because it will tighten up and just stick right out. So you want to loosely braid your hair, but neatly braid your hair and then take your little elastic bands and use those to secure the bottom. That'S so cute! You can also do the same thing i did just before twisting and doing that. That will also look really cute and here's the end result. Even if you look at me right now and you're like oh, no, that's not for me, like. I won't look cute like that. I thought the same exact thing and i feel so freaking cute i feel put together, i feel different, so i really really suggest you trying it even if you think that it's not for you, let's see, did i do good on the back. I'M scared to look at it. We will see when i'm editing, but i feel like this look gives you this really slicked back tightened, look which i love so much it's crazy, because i feel like as i get older, i feel a little bit more confident with my hair up and it was Always down when i was younger, we're going to take out these braids and i'm going to show you something else you can do with this look. You can take little sections and do small braids. You can do as many as you want. You could even braid the entire ponytail in little tiny braids, which would also look adorable, but something else that i've done is little braids like. So i am so fast. I know just freaking here, don't mind me elastic band that girl. Oh, how cute is that now i usually will do one here, one on top and then one in the back and if they're kind of like stiff like this, all you have to do is kind of just give it a little worm. You know and loosen it up, get it to where you want it, okay, so it should be looking a little bit like this. I think it's so cute, so fun and different. Okay. The next look is our typical slick back bun, so i'm lucky enough to have been doing my hair for the past 25 minutes, and my hair is pretty much already in this position. I'M gon na do the same thing, pretty much that i did with the half up, half down bangs go down and out and don't worry if your bangs are too short for this. If you hairspray the out of them, you will not have any issues. My bangs are longer now, but i used to have curtain bangs. They were like up to my eyes and i would do slick back buns like this and just spray them a lot and they'd stay. So i always like to do eye level with this bun. I'M gon na spray, it don't forget underneath and do one more brush over and if you feel like, you absolutely cannot get your hair in this pony, because the first thing you're gon na do is a pony. It'S so much easier to do on someone else. So if you have someone near you ask them to do it for you, if you really can't do it, but it's always good to learn to do it yourself. I have a bunch of bumps here, but i'm still gon na brush everything down and have it look like how i would like take it out and go over it one more time. This is just the reality like. I wish i was sitting here telling you the way that you could do it in one minute, but i just don't know how i'm not there yet all right, but for the most part, all of these hairstyles are pretty quick. Ponytail eye level just place the hairs where you'd like them to go just a tip. I always like to pull the sides directly back. So now we have this ponytail. Before i show you, the bun show you what it looks like if you do the twisty. This is one of my favorites. I did this and i posted a video of me with this on tick. Tock and people were going crazy, like how do you do this? How do you get it to stay literally, the easiest thing ever also, if the end of your ponytail here is like frizzy and gross a cute thing that i like to do is wet it and just like take your finger and twist the end of it and It'Ll have a little cute curl at the end. Here'S another thing you can do if you don't want to go for the full bun again, my hair is very thin, so it looks like i have a tail a little bit. If you have thick long, silky hair. I'M sure that there's a lot more movement to it now for the bun you're, going to take your ponytail twist it and wrap it around like. So until you have about this much hair sticking out now, you're going to take another hair, tie you're going to take your wrist and press it against the ends of your hair, so that it stays out of this ponytail you're about to create around the bun. I usually do it like twice so now: you're gon na be left with one side. You can leave it just on one side when i first started doing this bun in like 20 20. I would just do one side like this super cute, but now i like to take half of it. Usually the bottom half and pull it around to this side. Like so and then the key is always to kind of spread it out, pull as much as you need spread it out. Sometimes i like to have some pieces sticking up at the top just taking pieces and spreading them so that they stick out a little bit when you're. Looking at yourself from straight on, i love this look. It'S the typical slick back, bun, look also another thing. I really like to do is straighten the ends so that they get that really nice pokey kind of look. That'S what i'm gon na call it this one's really cute really easy makes you look very clean put together. I want to show you another thing that you can do with this look. Take out as much as you want of your front pieces i like to usually just take a little bit out. I don't know why i just feel like when you take too much. It doesn't look right. This is a great thing. If you don't like to be fully slicked back, you can also blow these out, give them a little bit of volume, whatever you prefer now for the last bun that i like to do. You'Re gon na need bobby pins for this look. You'Re gon na take out a nice chunk of your bangs. Now i have really thick money pieces. So for me i just like to take the full money piece and get these out of your way. You'Re gon na look like a unicorn, probably put your hair all the way up into a ponytail, nice and slick, no middle part for this one. Just put it all the way up. This is gon na be a higher bun. You can see more of it if you're not into this, like back, look where you can't really see the bun. This is, for you, give it a little spray put it in a ponytail. Again, okay, my arms hurt wow. I need a second okay. Now you can take your bangs out, see what i mean like if i took this thick of bang before when i did the low bun, it's it's just a little too much. You know i'm gon na spray, one more time and really slick everything back then you're gon na take one bang and you're gon na spray. This now you also don't have to have bangs for this. I'M just calling them that, because that's what they are, they could be just your front pieces brush through that. Well, take your bobby, pin and pin it to about right there. It doesn't have to be secure, just get it in a spot like that. Do the same thing: on the other side, now you're gon na take your ponytail you're gon na split it into two. You are going to give it a little swirl, like we've, been doing you're gon na knot, your hair in half, pull it down the middle. Then you're gon na knot it again, but this time in the front. This is important that you pull the pieces to the front and to keep it even i like to keep track of. You know which piece is longer and if one piece is longer loop that one through now you're going to hold this hair here right. Have your hair tie in your hand, keep these pieces here if you have shorter hair, if not, you can wrap this hair around and then do this. Actually i might do that myself just for funsies. Keep it a little bit shorter, you're going to take the ends of these bangs and pull them behind the bun? It'S okay! If they're starting to look wonky just hold them there, pull your hair tie over, tie it all together. Okay! Now we do the same thing: pull these out, give them some more length you're going to take the bobby pins out rush, the bangs pull them to where you like, you can even loosen them out of the pony. It'S really just preference and re-bobby pin them to your preferred placement, and here is the final look. Sometimes i don't loop the ends. I leave them extra long, that's also really cute, but this is kind of the vibe i was just feeling today and those are my go-to looks. I have a few more. I can also do one where my mom styles me i like to do a bunch of different french braids that i personally don't know how to do on myself. So let me know if you want me to do more of these, because i have plenty more, but these are just the ones i've been doing a lot recently. I just want to thank poshmark one more time for sponsoring this video. Let me know if you guys try out any of these looks. Thank you guys so much for watching this video. Tia Marrow: I wish I could do cute styles with my hair, just like you…..My hair is pretty thick, but unfortunately since I really never learned how to properly do it, mainly the way that professionals do….I only get it done when I go to the salon which, is ridiculous because I could easily do it myself. I would do it myself but every time I try, l end looking like a poodle. I always have to remind myself that I don’t really leave my house that often, or am around lots of people, so it wouldn’t matter how my hair looked. It’s also hard for me to style it because most styles look odd on me, other than just a blow out, and a ponytail…..If I do an updo, it can only last for a few minutes because I’ll get a dent in my hair, which I don’t like…..So my hair is just difficult at this point. However, I am starting to learn how to do it, even if it’s not perfect.
