Better Length Natural Curly Clip Ins

Hey guys welcome back to my channel and if you are new here, will it i am alana simone. So for today's video i know i'm looking a little crazy. Let'S give it a minute today we're going to be doing something a little different, we're going to be trying out the better length, curly clip-ins. This is what the packaging looks like super cute. I am loving this silk action we have going on and i'm going to show you guys the clip-ins that i got so this is how they came, i'm going to open them up in a second, i got the kinky curly 3b 3c clip ins and it is 20 inches go ahead and open it up, so i can show you guys what the curl pattern is. Looking like, i figured that this curl pattern resembled my hair texture and pattern the most wow. This is some some thick hair. Okay, i don't know it might be. Thicker than my hair hold on now hold on better, like for the back. We gon na talk about these braids listen. These braids have been in for like a week and a half y'all like i just didn't feel like touching my hair. I just wanted to throw in a little protective style, so i had these braids. They were all over my head, but i took them out halfway because i knew that i was going to be doing this style next, so i kept the braids in the back because the plan is y'all know. I don't really know how to cornrow like that. Cornrow cornrow cornrow row row the corn anyway, you guys know i don't really know how to cornrow at least small like how they do small cornrows before they put like a wig on or something so because i don't know how to do those i figured. I would just leave my braids in and then clip the clip ins onto the braids because i feel like they will hold into the braids, because it's you know it'll secure them in. So i'm going to need some scissors to kind of take this apart. Clippings usually come already separated right, yes, okay, so i just sectioned off one little piece here. This is the curl pattern. This is what it looks like it's not too too long. It'S not super long, but it's definitely longer than my hair right now. So it'll be a nice little switcheroosie a little switch up. Alright, let's go ahead and get started with styling our hair, i'm not quite sure how many clippings actually came in this bundle. I guess we should count it out, um, so they're different lengths, not lengths but width widths, widths, y'all, know what i mean the clips. It'S a bunch of different numbered clips for each little piece here. Y'All get the point. This one has five, so this might be the widest the widest one. Listen, how big do they think my head is? Oh, it's kind of perfect okay, so yeah this one is five. This is two. This has five as well. This one has four okay, so it goes down in number of clips and then i'm also going to fuse it with my hair. So i don't want it to be overkill if that makes sense. So this has four as well, i'm just kind of like sectioning them off by length, so that it'll be easier for me to just pick up. You know what size i need for the particular row, so we have four ones: four tracks with two clips: four: okay, yeah yeah y'all get the point. What i'm going to do is just pull everything back into a low ponytail, so i don't know what it's looking like, but this i'm thinking will get the job done. If i knew how to do cornrows. Of course, it would have just been little cornrows, but can't do that we're gon na fake it till we make it. You know, then, so here we go so what i'm gon na do is just keep this piece here right and the piece that we just uh. We just flat twisted we're going to flat twist it going to the back so the same way that we oh, i guess i could have flat twisted the back half huh instead of having loose braids and loose twists. Ah, it's too late. Okay, so, like i said, we're going to just go ahead and do it like this right, so we have this we're going to tie it back and then same thing on this side, all right, so we've sectioned off our our middle piece, where we're going to put Our part and we're going to just start by putting the placing the tracks all in the back working our way up to the sides into the front, we're going to start off with a three clip, weft or three clip track the three one: okay, we starting off With the three one okay, so i'm gon na turn around to just kind of show you guys how i'm placing them so i'm placing them here over the bun now i know it might look a little bulgy because of the bun, but i'm thinking because the hair Is curly and thick, you won't be able to see to see the bun or see like the hump when i'm done, and i like the curly and frizzy look like the mixture because it's giving very much natural hair. You know, that's that's the vibe that i'm getting! I'M gon na do one of them with the five clips just so that i can start making my way towards the sides of my hair. If i can finesse this without having to do cornrows y'all yeah, we are starting to come together. I'M gon na just go ahead and use a couple of these, the clip-ins with chew, with two clips just on the sides just to finish it off. So i'm going to start over here all right and one more up here, so we're gon na just take these pieces. We are going to add some gel we're gon na try and get it to look as identical as the rest of the hairs as we possibly can. So what i'm doing now is the shingling method, so i'm just taking all my gel and putting it here. So you guys can see. That'S that's what it's looking like. Okay, i'm just gon na finger coil some of these ends. This is this is not heat damage all just because i put i put so much flipping gel there we go. I know it looks a little weird right now, um, once i have done this side, i'm gon na tie it down we're going to slick it as best as we can. If it doesn't dry similar to how the clippings look, we we going to make the clippings dry like our hair okay, so one of the two is happening, somebody's going to be obedient today, i'll tell you that much and we are done here so like i said I am going to wait to see how how she's going to dry to determine if we're going to end up uh wetting, the rest of the hair or not we're going to get some baby hair action going just to make her look a little bit more. A little more natural, i don't think i'm going to have to tie her down, but i might do it just for a little bit. I put the headband on just to kind of hold down the edges and the baby hairs. Okay, all right so, like i said, we'll see how it dries. My hair is still wet right. Now i'm going to go, do my makeup, you all know the routine and when i come back, hopefully everything will be dry and then we can just kind of see the final results, but first impressions y'all. I am loving this hair. I am absolutely loving it all right, y'all. We are back i'm about to take off the uh headband and just see how we're drying - okay, okay, still pretty wet, but i think it'll be fine. I might just wet the hair just a little bit yeah, i'm about the hair a little bit just so that it can have more of a blended look and it won't look too too different from the hair. So what i'm gon na do now is just pin this down just to stretch it out a little bit while i work on this side. Okay - and this is what we're looking like, i think i think it came out real good. What y'all think i think the blend is the blend is blending okay, so, yes, this is what we are working with inches on inches, what you say, and that is it.
