First of all, we need to start this video off with a prayer. Dear god, please do not let me be bald-headed by the end of this video amen, so i have done a lot of research for this video and i just hope that it turns out the way that i wanted to so today. I am attempting i've never done this before i've never done this before i'm attempting to do a silk press at home, and i'm going to put some clippings in with it. I got some um clippings from this place called m hot. I like these because they're flat right here, a lot of the um clippings that i received from other companies they're like bulky because of the clip, but this is supposed to be like a seamless clipping, so i'm gon na use these today, along with me, still pressing. My hair, i have a cap on right now because i um wash my hair, so i'm going to link the website that i found this at, but i was looking up the things that you need for a silk press and i saw that you need a clarifying Shampoo, you need a another shampoo, that's sulfate, free where's, that shampoo at this is my hydrating. You need a hydrating one, my hydrating shampoo, that is sulfate free and then you need a deep conditioner. A lot of people who do hair suggested this to me the aussie one, and i was surprised because this is three dollars. I thought i thought all the stuff that they were gon na. Tell me to get was gon na, be like super expensive, but it's really not. This is three dollars the suave one was 199. The herbal essence was the most expensive one. I think it was like seven bucks, i'm not sure um and everything else i'll show you later. I have the deep conditioner in my hair. I mean it's safe, three minutes on a bottle, but y'all know how black people are when we condition our hair like we not we're, not three minutes, nothing. It'S 30.! It'S been in my hair for a while, though, so i'm about to go, wash it out right now and then we're going to get started. This is like the worst part for me. I have zero idea how to blow dry, my hair straight, so i bought this blow dryer the red by kiss, and it has like three attachments. This is the one i'm gon na attempt to use to blow dry my hair straight. Hopefully this works out um. I got a few different things. I don't know what to use, so i bought protecting silk blowout, it's supposed to like protect my hair and cut down the drying time um. So you can use heat on your hair, a little less than you normally would, and then i have it's a 10 silk leave-in and then i have frizz free, keratin, smoothing oil. That'S this! I don't want to use all three because i don't want greasy ass hair. I for sure, think i'm gon na use this um to cut the drying time a half, but i'm trying to figure out. If i want to use this, it's a 10 silk express or if i want to use this frizz free, keratin, smoothing oil. So i'm going to do big sections like what bigger sections than people will probably do, because my hair is really really fine like me, so, okay, so first of all that is the best blow dryer ever and i don't know how much this blow dryer was. I think it was twenty dollars. This is the first time that i have ever been able to finish blow drying my entire head, so i don't know if it's first of all, i've never been able to blow dry. My hair, like this dry and this straight um, usually when i blow dry my hair, i give up after like the second patch of hair, i'm like done, and i don't know if it's the blow dryer or if it's like this, but it actually did cut my Drying time in half, because i did not need to re-wet any of the sections of my hair. Usually, when i blow dry, my hair, i have to like go back with a spray bottle by the time i get to the top and like spray it again because it's dry, but my hair was still damp. When i got to the top okay, i am ready to straighten my hair um again, i'm gon na take bigger sections, because my hair is really fine. Um after i get my kitchen in the back, but so i'm not sure if anybody has ever used this flat iron, this infinity pro flat iron - oh my god, this flat iron is the best thing since sliced bread. I saw another youtuber use it well. I was looking at like silk press videos and this girl used uh this flat iron. This flat iron is so good. It'S supposed to be a. I guess it's supposed to be like a dupe for the. What'S that flat iron, everybody, you want to use baby, bliss or babyliss. I think it's babyliss um, my one of the hair people that i spoke to told me not to buy that flat iron because i'll probably burn my hair off, which i've already done. So i don't want to do it anymore, um, but apparently this is supposed to be a knock off of that one of that flat iron. This will probably burn your hair off too. I don't have it all the way on the highest setting. I have it like on medium, so, where my leave out is i um it's starting to break off and the reason why it's starting to break off is because so if you watch my channel, you know i broke my flat iron months ago, a few videos back. I i broke my flat iron and instead of buying a new one, i had just got one from my mom house, like this old flat iron, that she don't use no more and that's why flat iron do not get my hair super straight and in addition to That i call myself not really being consistent with wearing a bonnet to bed um, so i literally was flat ironing my hair every day on top of the fact that the flat iron that i was using wasn't a flat iron in my hair like doing it evenly. So i had to do more passes and i had to do it more times so now my leave out is breaking off. I had to get a brand new flat iron so that when i straighten my hair, i don't have to worry about um passing through my hair a thousand times yeah this flat iron is really good, so i shouldn't be having any more problems with my leave out. Breaking off because i'm really good with my libra, i don't usually flat iron, like my hair every day or anything like that perfect. Damn are you supposed to put oil on your hair before or after don't know, yeah! That'S really straight right! What i got thermal protector, silkening serum i'm gon na use this one yeah that one was a little bit more silky than the other one okay. So i'm going to put in my first clip in from m hot hair. Is this one too long? Oh no! This is perfect. Okay, another thing that i really like about these clip-ins besides the fact that they're super flat - so you probably won't be able to see them, is the fact that they don't hurt. Have you guys have anybody ever had clip-ins like so i've never done like a full set of clip-ins, but i've put clippings in my head before like at the top um and they always hurt like i haven't really. I don't know how to describe this. My hair is fine, and i also have like my scalp is really soft. Like i have like a soft spot on my scalp um, you can see it too, like when somebody's doing my hair they'll like push on it and they'll, be like oh, my gosh. It'S squishy yeah. I have like soft spots in my head, so sometimes um the clippings that i put in my head. They really hurt and these feel really like. I can't feel them at all like it's not heavy. I think it's because uh some companies, probably putting too much hair on clippings and they'd, probably be heavy it'd, be feeling like it's like pulling my hair. I really like the texture of these clip-ins because it's not like um like when i straighten them. It'S not like that super smooth, straight kind of like white girl, look like no offense to white girls, but i ain't got y'all hair um, it's kind of like that kinky straight, which i like better anyway, even like when my hair, like i. If i have a weave in when it's like that super silky straight, i hate when my hair look like that. I like it to have a little kink to it. Baby. Let them hold sleep, got what i know. It'S all good. I actually only been using that flat iron that my mom gave me for like a week and a half two weeks, so i'm surprised at how fast my leave out said. Bye like damn. This is gon na burn off. That fast. Give me something to do when i get lonely. I got something keep i know it's all good. Okay, i'm gon na use this frizz buster serum, so i just put it throughout my head because the humidity in georgia ain't nothing to play with, and i don't want this to frizz up the second i'm done doing it. I'M gon na make sure i put it throughout, not just the top. Throughout my real hair too i'm gon na do my edges. I'M gon na use the veda paste control paste for my edges. This is y'all. This is super expensive. It'S like thirty dollars, but i'm not gon na lie. It'S so worth it. It'S literally the only thing that will not revert your hair back to being curly. Well, my hair back your hair might do some other, but my hair - everything anybody ever suggested to me to try so that my hair won't revert back to its curly state does not work. This is the only thing that has ever been recommended to me and it was recommended to me by a hair stylist, and this is the only thing that works for me. Okay. So this is the final look, and i love this and the reason why i love this so much is because, with like q, part wigs that even sew-ins, it's never like this flat. I like for my hair, to be super flat because it makes it look like it's my hair. Even when people have like on lace fronts, i have a really small head. So when i put it on my head, it still is like it's flat, but it's not like as flat as this, so these clip-ins i like this - i think i'll do this from now on. I actually really. This is making me think that maybe i want micro links, i've never had micro links before um, so i don't know if that's something that's like hard to maintain or something but yeah. This is. This is definitely making me want something a little bit more natural. First of all, this turned out way better than i thought it was going to turn out. I thought that this was going to kind of be a disaster. I have never flat ironed like my entire head of hair and i've never put like a full set of clippings in before, so i'm very impressed, both with the hair and with myself and this hair. Like i said it looks like my hair straightened: it's not that super silky, unrealistic texture that my hair probably wouldn't be able to attain, because i don't have that texture hair um. Nor do i want it, but this this is. I like this. The links to these clip-ins from mha is going to be in my description box and it links to everything that i use the shampoos, the conditioners, the oils, this bomb ass flat iron and this balm ass blow dryer gon na be in the description box. I never knew about clarifying shampoo. My hair has never been cleaner. Ever usually i wash my hair, i wash the out of my hair and i'll still like see like a little bit of dandruff. This clarifying shampoo, my hair, has never been cleaner. I just i'm proud of myself. Let me know what you guys think, thanks for tuning in to this video, and i will see you in my next one bye, yay
