Hey dolls and gents, so I know a lot of us order: hair online now, so we're not able to actually fill and see the hair in person before purchasing. So I know how super important it is for you to get the best quality for your money. So today I'm going to kind of walk you through how to tell the difference between high verse, cheap quality hair. Oh I'm going to hold up two bundles here, and I want you to tell me whether the one in my left hand or the one in my right hand, is the high quality hair and which one is the cheap quality here, have a very good look. So if you guess that this one is the cheap quality hair, then you are correct. So I'm going to explain the difference between these two. First of all, with the cheap quality hair, there's going to be a lot more short pieces of hair in the bundle the bundle is going to be collected from fallen hair on the ground. Instead of one donor, you want hair, that's collected from one donor, because that means all the roots are with the roots, and that means all the ends are with the ends. The cuticles are going to be aligned, which is going to cause it to have less shedding and less tangling. Another thing that you'll notice between the cheap quality hair and the high quality hair is that this one is going to be more silky to touch the low quality hair is going to be more frizzy and it's easily going to break when you run it. Your fingers, through it you're, going to see a lot of broken shedding hair. When you run your fingers down the shaft, especially very quickly, and I mean I have several pieces of hair in my fingers right now, just from combing it a few minutes ago. Another major difference is that the high quality hair is still going to be in its natural color, so it hasn't process for texture or for color, while the cheap quality hair is probably going to be dyed. So it's going to be very hard to bleach or recolor. The low-quality hair, while the high quality hair you'll, be able to bleach and die very easily. Also, the high quality hair is going to last you a lot longer. High quality hair should last you at least one year, especially with continued use. I'Ve had some virgin hair. That'S lasted me 2 to 3 years, because I take really great care of my hair but the cheap quality hair. It'S probably gon na lash. You may be a month or two and it's just gon na look crazy, so the high quality hair every time you wash it it's just going to get better and better with the cheap quality hair you're going to wash it like two to three times and the Hair is going to get more more coarse, more and more tingly, and it's just going to look crazy. So if you've wash your hair two to three times and you notice that it looks really frizzy really coarse, you probably have the cheap quality hair rather than the high quality. So those are just a few other ways that you can tell high quality hair from cheap quality hair. So nobody is wasting their money because everybody works hard for their money right. You don't want to waste it on cheap quality here. So, of course, the high quality here is going to cost more than the cheap quality hair, but the high quality hair is going to last. You a lot longer so you're going to get more bang for your buck. Mariah Adriana: Just remember quality is not all about price. A lot of expensive hair can hold traits of lower priced hair and vice versa. Always do your research, go for known & reputable companies rather than pop up companies.
TaharasLounge: Yes I brought hair from a vendor and i thought it was gone to be high quality by the price, but the hair was the descriptions of the low quality hair! It was like money down the drain, literally!
WebMDMA: I’ve gotten a sew in 3 times in the last year and a half and I’m guessing i bought low quality every time but honestly I love it. I love when it gets dull and it loses its shine because to me it looks better on me and I don’t rock the slayed silky look lmao.

Patricia White: more expensive hair is not always better. I have spend hundreds on virgin hair that was horrible and I have bought hair on aliexpress that was gorgeous and amazing and lasted me over a year with maintenance. It depends what you are sent. I purchase from Westkiss Raw hair and Her Human Hair on aliexpress and the hair that I have received over the past yr or so has been beautiful, low maintenance and minimal shedding. All hair sheds but its the amount that counts when dealing with virgin hair. So I'm not paying ridiculous money just because I think if its more expensive its better because that is so not true.

Leeya Tomich: so last summer my hair decided to fall out.......almost 30% of my natural hair was gone! my hair was as thin as paper, i wasnt gonna put up with extremely thin hair, so i go on amazon and try to look for hair extentions, i found one that perfectly matched the color of my hair and everything, so i wore it for a few days and i noticed the ends were feeling brittle and frizzy and just not even feeling close to normal hair, so i cut the frizzy ends off then a week later the ends just got super bad again, so i threw them away and ordered a new one, this cycle went on 5 times and then i was just done with hair extentions! i was so mad and discouraged and i knew i was never gonna have better hair ever again... i mean i took great care of my extentions, i brushed them all the time, i even put special oils to make it look less frizzy, it just never worked...so i need to go to a proffesional about this stuff, can you please tell me some sort of beauty salon, or website i can go to that has a

Vicariously Me: Hey great topic. Definitely want to look for strings and oddly colored strands in your hair if you find either of these LOW QUALITY. High quality hair is going to have more of a natural curl not a straight out the box rollerset/barrel iron and spritz curl. The Jet BLACK hair is almost always a sure sign of low quality unless you're buying Chinese hair in which case refer to all other tell tell signs to determine.Lastly any hair with a waxy shine... LOW QUALITY or NOT OF QUALITY however ya like it! Great topic love ttys xoxo

mimi j: If all the bundles look exactly the same it's usually low quality. Think as if you were cutting hair from different people everybody usually had different textures of hair when the curl pattern isn't uniform even a little unhealthy looking that's usually the best hair IMO

honorthelegend1: the tips are great if people were able to go into a store and could apply the tips. There has been some hair that has not last but it was not expensive. I would recommend that people buy what they can afford and take the best care of it. If you find a company like Mayven that is horrible never buy again.

hawaichika: the level of shininess indicates if keratin has been added or not. Cheap Asian weaves are full of keratin (multi layers, keratin dipping ) . This is why when you wash the extensions the hair gets worst. If your weave is jet black then it has been dyed. Natural hair may seem black but up close you realize its just a very dark brown. Black is not a natural color. Always pic natural color when you purchase, even if you want to dye it and be blond. Your weave will last you longer if it's not already processed before you start processing it.. If you know what I mean.
