High Ponytail With A Side Bang | Feat. 100% Unprocessed Remy Hair Ponytail Extension

Hi wonderfuls welcome back to my channel, it's olivia joy here and in today's video i'll, be doing a high ponytail with a little side. Bang, let's get into it! I'M going to start off by brushing my hair just to make sure it's nice and smooth and detangled. Of course, then, i'm going to fix up this side part because it's looking a little scraggly and y'all know my parting skills are a little shaky, so just bear with me for the side. Bang, i kind of just eyeballed the amount of hair. I want out making sure it's not too thick and not too thin, but, of course it's up to your discretion. I personally like mine, a little bit on the thicker side when i'm finished parting. I just tie the bang up and out of the way just so that i can focus on the base of my hair. Brushing my hair up into a ponytail before slicking seems to be what works best for me and kind of just helps to mold my hair into the ponytail height that i want once i'm finished tying my hair up, it's time to slick, so i'm going to use The let's jam extra hold gel, which can be found at really any local beauty supply. I usually do about three passes with this product and use a good amount to make sure everything is looking, sleek, shiny and in place, and speaking of sleek, shiny and in place. Using a soft brush really helps to lock in gel and keep everything looking nice and smooth. Of course, after i finish brushing, i have these extra hairs that didn't want to go into the ponytail the first time, so i'm using got to be glue spray to lay those down then re-tying, my hair into the ponytail. I know that seems like a lot like what but short hair problems. If you know you know, i love this easy edges edge, control gel because it slips my hair so beautifully and doesn't flake or make my hair look gray when dried again, if you know you know sorry, no fancy edges today, just a little swoop and shape action. Edges are now done and it's time to tie this bad boy down with a satin scarf and focus on the pony. The ponytail i'm going to be using is from dy hair 777 and it's their ponytail wrap clip hair extension. This piece is 100 unprocessed roomy hair, and i got the brazilian body wave texture in 16 inches before putting in this ponytail. I'M going to take another hair tie to put my hair into a fan. Bun, i don't know about y'all, but ponytail. Mixing with ponytail is a no for me, i'm strategically placing the comb in the middle of where the hair tie and the base of my hair connect, then taking a hair pin to secure the extra flap and this part isn't technically necessary. I just do it for extra security, because why not next i'm going to take the wrap piece along with some hair from the ponytail just to add another level of seamlessness? To this look, i wanted a little bit more of a thicker wrap just for extra security and to go along with the thickness of my bang. Then i'm using my trusty got to be glue spray for extra security while wrapping. I just want to add that i previously flat ironed my hair before doing the style just to make this looking process a tad bit easier and so that the texture of my hair matches the texture of the ponytail i'm using now. It'S time to take down the bang and don't worry, i'm definitely not leaving it like this and right after this lip sync intermission, i'm going to flat iron, the bang, along with the pony and finish out this look, i personally don't really care too much for the Ponytail to be completely straight as long as it pretty much matches my bang, i'm all good and we're done this is the completed look.
