You know where they implant it it's a hole, they poke a hole in your head. Basically, so that has to welcome welcome back to amy's world y'all. Thank you for tuning in to another video. This is a highly requested video i've been wanting to do it for a minute, but i'm catching it right. After three year anniversary of you guessed it, the hair transplants. Yes, if you don't know, i got a hair transplant three years ago, we're gon na get into all of that with pictures details the good the bad wear, the cost all of that okay, but before we get into that, i need y'all to like subscribe, make sure Y'All ring the bell so that you don't miss any of my upcoming videos, maybe because we're gon na keep on rolling rolling rolling rolling. We got a lot of content coming. I have to move this flat iron because algebra almost burned himself earlier. I don't need y'all trying to call pita on me, so i'm gon na keep these in here we're gon na hop straight into the video honey, because some of y'all want to know like okay, am i bar headed? Can i ever get edges? Does it really work? Does it work for black women, you know, is it a scam? Is it just? Would you ever really borrow we don't get into all of that all of it. Where do i want to start with the hair transplant? First of all, let's get into my natural hair, we'll start off there. Now i have been doing a lot of cutting on my hair the last couple months. I just been growing it cutting it growing it cutting it, the reason being when you get a hair transplant. There'S a certain area that they shave - okay, they shave it off. So i let that piece of hair over the three years grow to about the shoulder length. Then i started cutting my hair up, so they all can be back one length. Now it's almost there. It'S not as long but it's getting there, so i don't know if i got to do some more cutting, but it's almost there. Now i went to natural hair transplants that is in fort lauderdale florida um. The doctor that did my hair is dr siegel. All of the doctors there are amazing. I'Ve had two friends that went before me. One went to dr siegel. One went to another doctor both of their hair transplants. Look the same. They look good. So let me just say that all the doctors are good. Um algebra. Don'T shoot that cord so um? I went to dr siegel in fort lauderdale florida, natural hair transplants. This makes my three year anniversary. I am 100 satisfied um with my hair transplant. I want to add a picture right here to show y'all how damaged my hair was right here on both sides. Um check the picture out y'all. I did everything to my hair that you were not supposed to do from the perms to the braids, to the micros. To the glue to the tracks, to the bleach, to the fights to the anything that you could have, did i damaged my hairline so bad? That'S like the last! Maybe seven years i literally had to wear quick weave jog coming all the way up to here, because all of this was bought. I damaged all of this, like there was no hair where you seeing this hair here. There was nothing there as you all seen on the picture um and if you don't know anything about hair, let me educate you on something so that they don't take advantage of you and so that you're not buying all this stuff. That'S not gon na work. Okay. There are two different type of um alopecia and that you can have you have multiple, but for black women we put our own hair out. Doing, like you know the hairstyles y'all, we thinn our hair out with the wigs the glue, the braids, the quick weaves. We damage our hair, it's called traction alopecia. Now, once you get to a point where it's just like smooth, it's like baby ball, smooth. It'S it's not coming back six months 10 months a year that alopecia form is not it's not coming back um. Some people will tell you put this on it's gon na. Come back. Listen sis tell me if i'm lying, it's been 5-10 years and it hasn't come back, it's not coming back when you damage the hair, uh follicle to a certain degree. It'S just not coming back and i'm the person who experienced that so i had a friend of mine that told me about uh natural hair transplants in fort lauderdale, fort lauderdale florida and me, naturally how bought i was in this area. I didn't think that it was gon na work. I'M not gon na lie. I researched this place for two years and was just like. Do i want to spend that money? Because i don't think it's gon na work? I just felt like nothing was gon na bring it back. I'Ve tried everything, you name it you name it. I'Ve tried it. Okay, you name it. I'Ve tried it. Nothing worked. I knew i needed a hair transplant. So when i went there um, you know i did. The virtual consultation - i did all of that good stuff their website is really good with being informative on how to how to do the um virtual um consultation. You can talk to the doctors, they want to see pictures. You know they want to see the front. The side, this angle that angle, they want to see it um. So once i went through that process, which was fairly easy, i paid my deposit. I picked my date right, keep in mind. I know if you think about getting a hair transplant that you're probably researching a lot of places like i did, but you don't have to research anymore, because i, along with a few people three years ago, we were going to get the hair transplants um and they Went to turkey, they went to this place. They went to this country and all of their hair is still extremely thin, they're going back for a second one. So i'm just so glad that i listened to my cut and that i went to the doctor. Who does a lot of african-american women? Because, yes, you can go to all these countries to get it done and yes, it'll be so much cheaper, but you get what you pay for. We have a different hair density. We need a different type of hair transplant um and it has to be done a certain way, so they can be thick like the rest of our hair. So don't go and get a transplant based off of it. Being cheap sis. Okay, don't do it take it from me, don't do it so um, as i saw in the picture, wouldn't make it actually. This will probably make it easier. I'M gon na give y'all a full detail. Give you full detail. I know y'all hate when i put rubber bands in my real hair, but i put oil on my rubber band. Okay, so let's get into the transplant. Now, if you let me see, this will probably be the easier way to do it. I haven't, pressed and straightened my hair in so long y'all. I did a a real press. Like i pressed each out, i got all the roots okay, so we don't get in full detail of my hair. I'M going to put this in a pony all right. Okay at least get half of the hair out the way all righty. Now, let's talk about the transplant in detail. Now, if you see the length of my hair here, you'll see a drastic difference where the transplant was part it right here, that's about where the transfer was all right. Now, as you see it's it's thicker than what it was remember y'all, there was no hair here. There was nothing here, oh actually right up in here too. This is what we did, so i don't know if you guys can see closely. It'S still thinner than all this thick hair here, but even after three years, y'all is still growing. The length is actually getting there slowly, it's not as long as the rest of the hair, because what you got to know is when you get a hair transplant, they're going to shave that area bar, so this area, they're gon na, take it they're gon na shave. It bald so it's still shorter, it's growing back, but if you saw where i came from, you will understand why i like even this little bit of growth, is everything now um when they do the transplant they cut the middle of your hair in a horse. You cut so it's almost like ear to ear about right here, probably about right here. This is see it's still thin up in this area too. Now the transplant how it works, is based off of the thickness of your hair. They try to fill in the most on the outskirts, because worst case scenario, you have to pull it back and cover up the thin stuff behind it. Um i didn't have a lot of density y'all. This was like skin bald so compared to where it was to where it is. I am grateful for that, but i wanted to talk about the cut the cut that they do in your head. Y'All. It leaves no scar like you literally, i can. Actually, you could probably see down the middle. There is absolutely no scar and i didn't believe it when i was getting it. They said you know it doesn't leave a it doesn't leave a scar because it looks like a pretty major cut. I'M gon na install the picture of the cut it's really gross, but i want y'all to know all about it. So, basically, even in the middle of the hair is still thin here because they cut the hair. They cut the piece of skin out that they're going to extract the hair off of, and then they sew your head back. So basically, this area was shaved as well, so they shaved this side. They shaved this side and then they shaved a horseshoe cut in the middle. That hair is slowly growing back, it's still short, but it's here it's gon na come back. I wish i could find exactly where those strands were of where they shaved it. It'S like much shorter, it's in here somewhere, it's been growing back good, but anywho um. Let me get on to the other side, for you, yeah um, pain level, i would say, was definitely painless for me. The only pain that i had was them numbing. My hair now we're gon na get on to this eye. This side was the absolute worst. The absolute worst, i'm talking about y'all this side was so bad that it's still kind of thin, but i just still want you to get into that. You see the length of all of this back here and you see how short this is. This is all hair that was transplanted three years ago. It'S starting to get its length and its density is still kind of thin, but if you have thin hair, you will understand that going from those pictures that i just showed you to even this little bit. Like all of this was gone, this was all gone now, i'm gon na be transparent. Would i want this to be a little fuller? Absolutely absolutely, but it's getting fuller, it's getting thicker and the doctor will tell you like this, isn't an overnight type surgery, surgery where you get it and it's like. Oh, my hair is thick as it was in middle school in high school. No it's one of those things that is growing. It'S a it's a surgery. Your area is definitely going through a trauma. You know what i'm saying so um the type of trauma getting so many shots in there then they're one by one, they're implanting a hair inside of each hole that is really traumatic. So you guys probably heard the rumor that the um hair goes into a shock and that it falls back out. I'M gon na put this hair back there and that it falls back out. That did happen to a person that i know that got one. It didn't happen to me, i don't know, i'm just thankful that it didn't, but no it didn't happen to me, but basically um what could happen so you got to be preparing for the best and the worst at the same time. But what happens is this type of intense surgery on your hair is really traumatic, so basically the hair kind of goes into a shot, whereas you might notice the hair starts growing back in like three months and then it falls back out, but rest assured is going To come back, it's definitely gon na come back um. Let me see, let me see yeah, i don't really want to talk about the positive part. So, let's talk about, let's talk about the hair transplant in depth. Um! Sorry, if i keep hitting my mic, let's talk about it in depth. Reality no sit down, algebra um and yes, i'm sorry. Let me not skip over. You can flat iron, the hair. You can do it, it's your hair, you do what you want with the hair. Um, it's your natural hair is just moved from one area to the next um. Let'S talk about the real conversations of a hair transplant. No, so how do you wear your hair when they're shaving your hair, shaving it there and cutting a cut from almost ear to ear in the shape of a horseshoe in the middle of your head? How do you wear your hair? For me, i, let's see if my scarf is in here, it is. Let me tell you what i did because you're losing a good chunk of hair by shaving it and they're shaving. It bald completely so that you can um so that they can see exactly where to hit put the hair. They don't want to be fighting over your hair, so they shave it bald. So they can see a clear view now. What i did is, i bought a bunch of headbands like this, but thicker more fabric cloth type and for three months i didn't go out much, but i always like wore a cute little headband and then i had a quick weave in the middle. So i had the hair still looking long. This looks silly, but let me show y'all what i did buy a bunch of scarves because it's so worth it trust me. It'S so worth it buy a bunch of scars. I would do it like this. I would go around like this, i would go back here, i would tie it and the middle of my hair would be a sew in like it would be a quick weave or a sew-in stop. It would be a quick weave or sew-in. I would just make it really thick. I wore it curly a lot to kind of make it look so full, and this was covered up because you don't want to um. You don't want to start pulling on the hair transplant early. Ladies, you might be seeing some growth and it's like. Oh let me go start getting braids. No. I wouldn't suggest that the first two years, no tension, no braids, no heavy nothing. This is like really delicate hair. It was implanted in you're waiting for it to actually um. You know where they implant it. It'S a hole, they poke a hole in your head. Basically, so that has to pretty much cover up. It has to um heal and cover up over each individual hair transplant. This is skin, you don't want to be pulling your hair and then next you know, look you put a damn hair transplant out. You definitely don't want to do that. Um prices are different. Charles. I will tell you that um me telling you my price. It doesn't benefit you, i everybody has a different head shape. Everybody has a different diameter of hair, that's missing, so my price might be this. Yours could be less, you might have less trauma than me. Yours could be more because the spot could be bigger. Um. Some people ask: does the hair come out easier now that it's transplanted? No, it doesn't um they're, taking the hair from the strongest part of your head, which is like that carefully selected area. So actually, the hair on my hair transplant is actually thicker to me than like all of the front of my hair, because my hair was always kind of fine in in certain areas and thin and bald on this area. So for me no for me, i can say that the hair is stronger. Now i got it boned straight right now, because i pressed it out, but when i freshly wash it it's like really thick coarse and i'm excited, because before it was so thin and absolutely terrible um the healing process, i say the healing process was about a week Because you know your hair to be swollen, obviously you're taking a lot of trauma and shots, so the healing process was about a week and a half. Maybe i started seeing hair growth month three and i'm not gon na lie. I was in the mirror crying like. I was crying, i'm just a skeptic, i don't know, i didn't believe it was going to work and it's been growing ever since so i've been doing a lot of wigs. So i don't have to really do too much pulling and tugging on my hair, but it's up to you, but the only thing i would say is whatever style that you decide to wear after you get your hair transplant. It needs to be something that is low. Tension for a while don't get excited and start feeling yourself, because you have edges again and pull them out. You don't want to do that because i heard the worse the more you do it. You can't keep getting it so value the edges and you know, leave a comment in the video. I hope i answer all the questions. I'M trying to make sure that i forget anything. No, we talked about price location, the downside, the upside, the upside is obviously i don't have to have this huge insecurity under all this hair anymore. So i would say if it's something you want to do, um, it's definitely worth it again. The procedure actually wasn't painful. Getting the transplant getting them put in um the cut, i didn't feel anything the worst pain was them numbing the areas with the needle when they numbed it. It was like ah, but once it was numb, i felt nothing. Yes, i was up during the procedure fully aware. I was up on my phone eating snacks. Yes, with my head cut open, i was up. I don't know. If you can opt to be put to sleep, you can ask the doctors um, but that is pretty much it. I hope i didn't forget anything on this. If i did leave me a comment, i'm definitely gon na answer, questions and i'll put everything in the bio. So there is hope if you are headless edgeless. Okay, like me, don't be ashamed, sis there's a resolution and that is to get a hair transplant so shout out to dr siegel and the entire team nurse jenna everybody. I definitely appreciate you. We are year three and it's the update. Y'All can stop asking me yeah it's coming back year. Four is gon na be thicker child year five period. You ain't gon na, be telling me nothing matter of fact. After year five, i might not even talk about the transplant. No more, i might walk while walking around flexing like y'all like it's real, like it's just natural, you know, y'all can't tell no way get a little closer too. You know you see it, you see it. It'S short, but it's something we can't explain all right, sound off in the comments: love y'all to the next video

Ashley Williams: Your esthetic is so beautiful to me. The body, the skin, the smile, the vibe! Giving IT girl.

nyasha n: I got denied a hair transplant from the same doctor bc of my type of alopecia. I cried . I was diagnosed was CCCA and Lichen Planis. Even the PRP injections haven’t worked…too much damage already. Your results are beautiful. ❤️

Micole Fuller: Thank you my mom just got one and was telling her about you! I’m sending this to her you hair looks great can you now use hair growth products to make it thicker?

Cabrittany Omewiri: Wow, it looks so good! You hair looks healthy too

Verda Renee: I've suffered from alopecia since childhood, but I made it much worse with styling tryna cover up my spots as a teen. I've been seeing my dermatologist getting steroid injections and taking oral minoxidil+ using topical minoxidil for over a year with VERY minimal improvement. Feeling very defeated. I've thought about transplants but so scared it will be another failure. Literally nothing has worked for me.

Asia Mae: I remember when you got this done. I’m glad it’s going well for you! Your hair is healthy.

M@M GANG FUNNY VIDEO'S + MORE: Thanks for the update Amy I remember the process you are beautiful either way...

C AGoodness: I'm.proud of you Amy, you're glowing and healing good girl plus getting to your bag ❤️❤️❤️

The I Love LISA MICHELLE Show: Heyyy Ladybug, I saw your other hair transplant video and got encouragement to check it out for myself. Thank You! I saw a male YouTuber who resides here in Houston who had amazing results, but I didn’t truly begin my own personal search until I saw your video.

Aynai Sy: Great video thank you for sharing!!! also a lot of Black women suffer hair loss due to fibroids, which causes iron deficiency ( lack of red blood cells). For years I blamed myself and thought I caused my frontal hair thinning. even tho I didn’t wear weaves often. no one communicate to me that fibroids can can cause hair loss (I found out through research and consultation) . I still don’t hear others talking about this. I just wanted to mention this because as we know, not having your full edges and a healthy hairline can be a shot to your confidence sometimes. And the added assumption that perhaps we caused the situation doesn’t help when dealing with the hair loss,/thinning, fibroids and iron issues. so I want our sisters to know treat those fibroids and take care of those iron and anemia issues, as soon as you can. Again thank you for sharing! You’re inspiring me to look into this procedure as well.

Elle Thornton: I went to Dr. Huebner at Natural Hair Transplants in Ft. Lauderdale 4 months ago and my hair is flourishing. It’s a MIRACLE!

Tamara Phuckington: Oh yeah I remember when you first got it, you were so excited and I was excited for you. You told us a story about how you used to hide it. So proud

Brittney Waiters: Hi Amy! I appreciate your consistency as you pivot into the new journey with your brand. Do you mind sharing what camera you’re using? Looks good!!

Determined Diva: Your hair is looking really good! I remember when you did the video about getting the hair transplant.

Trise Des: Omg I’m going through this right now. I’m seeing a black dermatologist . I have alopecia areata . I’m using the minoxidil , topical solution, and now I’m considering getting the Olumiant prescription. I have seen hair growth but not in the smooth areas( which my derm was very transparent and told me it won’t grow in the smooth areas). I went from no sides at all to growth but I am considering getting a hair transplant .

Mary Jane: Your hair is soooo pretty you did the right thing sis it looks great!!

Good Vibes: My edges are so gone since I was a kid. Then I try to wear tracks as a teenager that didn't help. Now I'm wearing wigs. I just need a hair transplant. I'm hairless edges. I'm proud of you Amy good job on the hair growth it's beautiful

TAZ: Got a hair transplant and it works. I got it done in 2015 and I can say I am no longer in the “NO EDGES CLUB.” My traction alopecia isn’t longer and issue. Please try it to gain your self confidence back. You don’t have to be edge less. Oh, mine cost 5,000 back in the day. God luck and God Bless.

MADD Mesh: You’re so beautiful sis . Skin just soooo smooth

Justice K. Foster: What do you do to maintain your hair this way?

SOOTHING SOUNDS FOR THE SOUL: I love you Amy.

Olivia Grace: You’re spreading dangerous information about alopecia! Just because your hair didn’t come back after several years doesn’t mean others won’t. I had alopecia and was completely bald on one side for nearly 3 years… until the day I found a “miracle doctor” that was able to find the problem and create a cure… mind you 3 years prior I was diagnosed with “incurable” alopecia. Just wanted to comment that because telling people their hair “isn’t coming back” just because yours didn’t can be highly discouraging

A1i5ha L0v3: How long was recovery time after sewing the horse shoe area? Was it bloody? Drainage?

Tjané: Tbh I feel like elastic bands are better than ponytail holders bc elastics have a slip kind of and there’s no fabric for the hair to wrap around and snag on. Ik that’s not the point of the video but I heard you mention it. You and your hair looks beautiful ❤️ keep shining

J Mckoy: Girl I completely forgot you had this done. Edges face days...

Tashae Streeter: Yes ma'am, we see it, lol!... ❤️

Auntie Sadiemae: Would have loved to see more before pics to compare. I also respect not wanting to give the price you paid, but a lot of the videos like this everyone is so hush hush about the price.

Danesha George: Great Video

Newly Twenty5: What do you use to grow your hair?

Shante' Jackson: I always had natural thin edges my mom that way my Gma like that so sadly I never had nice full edges just always had a lot of hair just no edges moms the same way hair down her back no edges ‍♀️

Lola Maven: Your skin

LK RealityTV: ouuuu i like you. shoutout to youtube for getting the job done and putting your video on my home page. the intro sold meeee! and youre beautiful!

CHOSEN on PURPOSE: JULY 15, 2022 “DO NOT WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW! This is not a suggestion, but a command. I divided time into days and nights, so that you would have manageable portions of life to handle. My grace is sufficient for you, but its sufficiency is for only one day at a time. When you worry about the future, you heap day upon day of troubles onto your flimsy frame. You stagger under this heavy load, which I never intended you to carry. Throw off this oppressive burden with one quick thrust of trust. Anxious thoughts meander about and crisscross in your brain, but trusting Me brings you directly into My Presence. As you thus affirm your faith, shackles of worry fall off instantly. Enjoy My Presence continually by trusting Me at all times.” (JESUS CALLING)
