How To Install Tape-In Hair Extensions| Beginner Friendly| Ft Amazing Beauty Hair| Alexis Jay

Hey guys welcome back to my channel today we are doing a hair video, we're working with amazing beauty, hair extensions. Now let me tell y'all they sent me some tapings and you know your girl had to hop on and do this install now. This is my first time doing, taping so you're going to see me moving kind of slow in the beginning, which is still speeded up, so you won't be able to tell but yeah y'all. It was definitely a learning experience, um, here's how it came in the packaging. It did come with a few items which i was really happy about, and it also came with the hair extensions. Now this is the light color brown, i think, a color two or four one of those, but i will have to tag below i'm not sure how many tape and extensions came in each pack, but i'll be sure to let you guys know in the description box Below and here's just how the hair look, it was definitely soft and pretty, and i want to show you guys they sent me four boxes of this hair, so we are going to be doing this install on maya we just so pressed her hair out. I also trimmed her in and i'm just showing you guys how straight it is and yeah, let's just get into the installing video. Also, i wanted you guys to see it did not completely match her hair, but that was okay, because once it was fully installed, it blended, but you know to each its own feel free to color it to your exact hair color. If that works for you. So we're gon na just start with sectioning out the hair that she's leaving out you're gon na see me just doing the same thing until i get all of the hair sectioned out and then we'll start on the first row you're. So now we're on to the fun part, i'm just showing you guys the extensions and i'm going to be peeling off the little sticky tabs. The sticky tabs did stick really good with this specific or is it specific? I said with this specific hair extension. You are required to stamp it with like a warm flat iron, so i did use my tiny flat iron on 250, which was the lowest setting because in the description well in a um direction box, i'm sorry, i'm just messing up all over today. Y'All can see. I have it set for a little tip. It says: um clamp it together with low heat. So that's what we did the entire time now. Looking back of me editing this video, i could have did um more of a u-shape install, which i don't know how to explain y'all, because i'm still learning to take the uh best way to lay tape things. So, basically is what i'm saying like when i get to this part you're going to see me get to this low end piece. First of all, i'm looking on tic tac, you know, tic toc have everything. I saw that the girls was cutting the tape ins in half to make it fit in small sections. Well, like i said this was my first time so i was just going with the flow, but, like i said right there, where i was putting that little piece of hair up, i should have just curved it a little and made it like a u-shape. If you get what i'm saying, but whatever it still came out, really seamless and really really cute and i didn't think to cut them, but it would have definitely been more better if i would have cut it also, i do say i was using kind of thick Pieces they wasn't stupid thick, but i did see some of the girls was using weight, thinner pieces than me, but this worked fine for me. It still came out really cute. Also, when you're installing tape ends, you don't want to put it close to the scalp because it will hurt to move around so keep that in mind when you're installing it and i'm going to just let this part play, because i am doing the same thing throughout Her whole head right: we can get away, sit right. Next to me, we are finally making our way. Y'All like this is coming out really cute, like the install, was really easy. Once i got the hang of it, y'all i'm not gon na lie at first. I was like girl what, but, as soon as i started, to get the hang of it, it's really not hard, and once we got done her install looked, is so seamless look at like i did comb her tape in just a little. That'S why she made that face so don't mind that, but just keep in mind if you have tape, ends in and you're brushing through your hair and comb it through your hair, be very gentle, because you don't want to snag it too hard. You know i did that a few times and that it's not okay, so here we're going to just press out her leave out a little more, even though i did flat iron, her hair prior to the install i'm going to just flat iron it some more. So we can start the blending process. Also i'm going to throw some curls in her hair because i feel like curls would have been cute. It made the look, look so effortlessly. So that's what we're going to do also don't mind my stomach y'all. I just got hustling out because your girl was just eating and baby look. I was not about to put that weight trainer on and suck all that fat in writing and i had to let my food digest. Clearly you seen, i was full okay, so we're gon na just continue laying this leaf out guys. Oh, i definitely feel it's best to frame your client's face when they have leave out and stuff just so it could blend with their natural hair. More better. I was trying to cut as close as possible to her natural hair without cutting too much off just so. I could give a good layer. Okay, so that's all you're going to see me doing is just trimming it. I'M also going to trim the ends. Do not mind all those boxes on the floor in the next clip y'all, that's from the tape ends, and i was just moving fast and trying to get this install done. This install only took about like once we started installing it. It literally only took about an hour hour and a half max. That was only because i had to fix a few ones that i messed up and also y'all. We use the entire full boxes so yeah. If you want to do like a full head, i do require four, but one more wouldn't hurt, because i did need like a few more pieces for the top, but we made it work so um yeah, i'm just throwing some curls in here and guys before you X, i'm not sure of the specific name for this curling iron, but the one that i do you know do recommend is the ion curling iron from sally's. Their brand is amazing, so you should definitely check out those hot irons if you're interested in getting you a good, curling iron. Okay, now that all those curls is done about to go in with some edge control and just slick, her up. Okay, i wanted to do her some cute little edges just to make it look. You know pretty so yeah, that's what we're doing so. Yeah y'all the curls came out beautiful. The hair is so soft and it don't have a weird smell or anything i feel like for my first time.
