I Bought $8 Hair Extensions From Amazon! Do They Suck?!?

Hey guys, it's just the glam pixie, and this is my $ 8 hair extension review first off. I want to start by telling you guys that I am suffering from some pretty severe allergies right now. So if I sound, really sniffily and have watery eyes, that's why I'm not crying! I promise second yep, you heard me right. I bought $ 8 hair extensions from Amazon well technically, 879 and 780, but you know clothes. I picked up these two set of hair extensions from Amazon and honestly, I'm really curious to see if they're any good they're, both synthetic. So I don't want you thinking that I got real hair extensions for under eight dollars, but that doesn't always mean bad. So, let's give them a shot, let's go ahead and start with these guys. These are the CJ ESL. In a fashion, sexy two-tone long, curly, wavy, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. The title goes on forever, so they are in the color hot, pink to dark purple and they were 780, and that includes the shipping. So I didn't pay anything for shipping for these, so I will say that I did cheat a little bit. This is not technically unboxing for these guys, because, as soon as they came, I I couldn't resist it and I took him out. They did, however, come originally in a hair net and just was a little bag and let's pull these suckers out and voila. So these are the 24-inch, I believe, and you can see well it says hot pink because it is a blend of purple and hot pink hair. It comes off as more of a magenta, but honestly, I still think it's a pretty decent match, like the lower section that purple really does match my purple and for some reason, these lights. My hair is picking up more pink than it really is in person. It actually does have a slight purple tip, so these when I look in the mirror in person actually match really really well. They are pretty soft. A little frizzy you're always going to get that with fake hair, where, as soon as you start touching them, they kind of frizz up, but in all honesty, they're pretty decent and that's a lot of hair for $ 7.80. The weft on the back you can see is pretty wide. It has this white and tan netting and there are five clips, which is nice, because it should pretty much keep you secure without moving around the clips are decent. I mean they look like they're sewn in fairly well, not too bad, considering the price, but I might end up having to reinforce those at some point, not a big deal at all and in general I think that they're actually a really pretty match. I love the curl on them, I'm not to separate it for sure, but I'm really really excited about these. I'M super super excited, so we'll see once I put them in the hair, whether or not we really like them as much as we think we're going to now. The next set are these guys. These came in dark purple and they are the s9 white trim. D. 2426 straight curly 3/4 full head one piece of all buh-buh-buh-buh the lot I got the 24 inch curly dark purple. Just so you're wondering and all links to these descriptions are gon na be down below in the description box. So if you want to shop for them to yourself you're more than welcome to but yeah, this guy was actually sold in 22 colors. So there's a big range in him. They were a little bit more expensive at 8 dollars and 79 cents, but I mean like a dollar. More and again, I didn't pay shipping so whatever this is what the packaging looks like on that this one definitely did come packaged way nicer, the other one literally just had a hairnet in a ziplock bag. This one's actually a lot nicer. So let's go ahead and I'm just it so you can see it's covered in this white net and I'm gon na take off this stuff say it's packaged actually pretty well for the price definitely definitely better than the other one like I said, that is a really Beautiful color I mean it looked really really blue on camera, but I mean it is a true royal purple in person, you're really really beautiful. They are definitely shiny. They do have a little bit of that, like fake shine to them for sure, but that's okay. I mean that's what you get when you get synthetic you're, not gon na get that realistic shine, but again they are fairly wide left nice bounce pretty much the same type of netting on it again. Five Clips this netting, however, is a little bit stiffer. It feels like, I think, the other one is a little bit softer and more like movable and flexible, but yeah. They feel really really soft. I think these might be softer than the other pair. My fingers brushed through them, definitely better than the other pair. Yes, I think these are maybe a little bit higher quality, though I did get caught there, but yeah really really pretty very nice, especially for eight dollars and 79 cents, so now's the fun part, let's put them in so I'm using my parting comb, soft scrunchie and A couple of these little goody rubber bands - I just get these guys from Walmart and I'm going to separate the bottom section of my hair and get it out of the way so using that soft stretchy pull it up and just secure it into a ponytail. The back of my head to get it out of the way, then I'm actually gon na go ahead and grab the first weft. So I'm gon na use a purple on the bottom. Since I have purple on my bottom layer, unclip these over they're kind of stiff, which is not a bad thing, I think they're stiffer than the other ones and it's kind of hard without a mirror, but we're gon na try so right there at that part. Push that clip in and snap I'm gon na do that, and hopefully these are actually gon na make it to behind my ears. Oh look at that. They did finish some mermaid hair mmm with that hair. Okay. So now I'm gon na go ahead and take oh. This other weft and I'm gon na do the same thing. Hopefully much height. Oh, these are kind of narrow. I'M gon na do this, so this is definitely something that's better for like where I put it right behind the ears and across the back of the head. The problem is now that I can't really do that. So I'm wondering I think what I can do is I can put it into a half ponytail and make that work. So that might be what we have to do. So I'm going to go ahead and again part my top layer and separate that I'm gon na do the same thing with these guys, so right where the part is I'm just kind of taking the hair and adjusting it where need be. Okay, I'm kind of trying my best to blend that okay. So, as you can see, the blend is not great because I couldn't put it up very high. I'M gon na go ahead and do it on one side. So I'm gon na create a side part and pull me on my ear when I'm done so we're gon na go like that and we're only gon na. Do it kind of our right side, yeah that looks so much better okay, so I think the trick to this is creating like a half ponytail look or some sort of side part and then blending it that way, because if you're gon na do one around the Crown of your head: it's just not quite long enough, so I think when you do this, you should either buy two of these for the top layer or plan on doing like a side part of some part. So that's what I'm gon na do just because I only have the one and I'm gon na kind of pin this back here. That is really really beautiful, and I actually think that it looks really good like the blend is really solid. You can swim. It stand up, so it is very long with two colors of purple are definitely different, but I think, as long as you kind of play with it move them around and wind them around each other, I'm gon na be quite pretty. That is some mermaid hair for sure I absolutely love it and I would say that considering both of them were under $ 9. Around eight I mean for about 16 bucks. I got this pretty much full set, I'm so happy with how it turned out. I think these are definitely a steal on Amazon and again, I'm gon na link those right in the description, so you guys can go and pop over to Amazon shop for them. I actually come and pick up another one of these multicolored left's to go ahead and do a full head, because this is just oh, so pretty like this is straight mermaid. I am about this.
