Trying Cheap Amazon Extensions

Hey guys, it's Kiki welcome back to my channel or for those of you who are new welcome. So today I have a lap full of hair. We are going to be doing a review of cheap Amazon extensions and it's really just these that I'm going to be reviewing, but I also had some comments on other ones that have maybe been fails. So let's jump right in alright. So I've been on the hunt for extensions for some time now several years ago I bought extensions. I believe these are from Bellamy, but don't quote me on that and it was when my hair was really short, so these added a little bit of length, but also some volume and they're much darker than my hair now, but they did perfectly match my natural color Before and I love that these are the natural hair ones, but they were just too short, they were great for adding some volume and I really want some drama and to be able to pop in extensions. So I can no longer really wear these unless I'm wearing multiple layers of extensions. I can put these in to give some of those short layers like a more gradual, more gradual look. So these are the natural hair ones that you can curl and use as your own hair and they were expensive. I did get a discount code that someone had, but it just wasn't worth a couple hundred dollars that these run so I've been on the hunt to find a good cheap option and where else but Amazon. So my first attempt or these extensions from Amazon they actually have kind of like a rose gold Sheen to like an ash blonde, and I thought they would match a little bit better than they did, but they don't. I mixed these with some of the shorter extensions. The brown - and it worked - I mean when it's all curled, it just looks like I had you know different color highlights in my hair, but they're a little bit thin. It looks like a lot of hair, but it when you put it all over your head. It was just too thin, so then I had just these couple really long pieces and it didn't match well with my hair, but I do still like these and I think they'll be good ones to mix, especially with the ones that I'm testing out today. I might be able to layer them on top. These are 18-inch and they're on the individual, wet that you can clip into your hair. So there's multiple, there's like four three two and one clips that all come together to make the extensions. So I will still have these link down below. I do like them. The color just doesn't match that well, but I think with multiple extensions in there could just look like all different colored hair. Next was the biggest fail of all. This ponytail is like a 20 inch ponytail and it was, I think, like $ 8.99 on Amazon and it has velcro and then a single clip. So you put your hair in a ponytail put the clip in and then you wrap this strand around it. So it looks like one big long, ponytail extension, the color online looked much more, my kind of sandy hair color and it ended up being this really light ash blonde, and the other thing you didn't consider is my highlights are on top. But when I put my hair back in a ponytail, it's mostly brown. So when I put this blonde ponytail on top of my brown pull back hair, it looked so ridiculous and it also is a little bit too heavy for this one clip that comes in there. So it kind of pulls on your hair and it starts to slip out. So this was a super fail. I do not recommend alright and then the one that I'm going to review today is also from Amazon. It was $ 12.99 per piece and it comes in one long wet. So there are five clips and it just comes as one big sheet of hair, so the reviews online. It had good reviews, but it's said to buy two or three of them. So I got two and we'll see if that's enough hair, but the part I always struggle with most about buying these extensions online is which color is going to work for my, so it really is just kind of a crapshoot. I take a chance. I look at what works about what looks the closest to my hair, as you can see on some of the other ones. It didn't quite work out, but I think this is pretty darn close, so this one is like a light brown to an ash blonde, and that looks pretty good. Next to my hair, I mean: what do you think? I think it does I'm going to try and put them in my hair, while it's straight, which might look ridiculous because they are, they do have a nice kind of wave to them. They'Re, not super curly, but they have just a nice like good beach wave. So I do also have my one and a half Bombay curling one, so I am going to try to curl my hair with them so that it looks a little bit more natural okay. I know I look a little ridiculous here, but the first thing I do when I'm putting in extensions is, I pin up really tight against my head, the last like inch of my hair. That way, when you put in the extensions you don't end up with all these shorter pieces, underneath that poke out when the hair is sitting on top of it. If you remove this bottom layer, then when the extensions are sitting on top of it, the longest layer will be the extensions on the bottom. I hope that makes sense, but anyway that's what I do to make it look a little bit more natural okay. So now that that bottom layer is all pinned tight against my head, I'm going to put the first sweat at the base of my neck how's it looking okay, so first one and then have to back up to get it all in the camera. So the first one is in - and you can see that you maybe could get away with this if you just needed to extend the length, but I want a little bit more volume. So I'm going to put the second one in a little bit higher than the first all right time for the reveal okay. So I would never wear it with my hair straight because you can see the obvious break, but this actually matches really well with my hair. The categories: alright, I'm going to curl the top layer of hair and I'll be right back with additional tops. Okay, so there it is with my hair curled. My final thoughts are that I absolutely love these. I think these are so worth the $ 12.99 and then times 2, so it's 25 dollars and they came prime for this hair again this match my hair color really well, so I do like them more because of that, but it was so easy to clip these In and then just have to curl the top layers so that they match, I mean that was like it took me, maybe 6 7 minutes and it's like full glam hair. So I think these are awesome, but one thing I do have to mention: they are synthetic hair, so you cannot curl them or straighten them over. I think it's 180 degrees, or they will melt because essentially they're plastic, so make sure you do not curl or straighten them above 180 degrees or read the directions to make sure that that's actually the temperature. But I love these. This is awesome. Let'S see the back. Hopefully, hopefully I curled all the pieces in the back that I might have missed them. So let's see the back alright guys. So that is all I have for you. That is my experience with cheap Amazon extensions. I told you about a few of the other ones that I've tried, but then these are by far the best and so worth not paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars for these extensions.
