Hey guys welcome back to my channel, i'm molly if you're new here go ahead and click that subscribe button on this channel, we like to talk about all sorts of things: beauty related lifestyle related. All that - and i just came across the most perfect halo - hair extensions from amazon. This basically came about because i was getting really sick of trying to put my clippings in all the time and while my hair is pretty long, but i mean it's it's pretty long. It'S also really thin. If you can see this, it's like she's, not thick, and i love being able to do things like braids or other really fun. Really romantic. You know pulled out styles, not saying that you can't make them work, but just saying i really wanted a really easy way to be able to do those types of looks without having to put clippings in every single time that i wanted to do them, because i Was getting really sick of backcombing, my hair to put clippings in so i went on a search on amazon and i found this brand called lovrio or lovrio something along those lines, and i got these extensions now if you've never heard of a halo extension before i'll. Describe what that is, but i want to show you how they came and what they give you. They came really fast like two days it was prime. They came in this cute little box and it came with a rat tail comb. A clip. The hair itself came in this bag right here it came with a set of extension clips, as well as an extra wire, which i will show you what that's used for an instruction manual and, of course, the hair. Now this is what a halo, hair extension means. It has this wire if you can see that, and basically it sits on your head like a headband. So then in the back it just looks kind of like a fall. I got the 20 inch ones and they didn't come pre-curled. I just curled these. So i can show you when i apply them, how they blend in with my hair, and i got the shade number eight and i got the 20 inch extensions, but they have about 16 or so different types of hair color and they range in price. So if you get 16 inch halo extensions, they range somewhere between like 65 dollars and 75, and if you get the 20 inch extensions like i got they're more between 93 and like 109, and it really varies based off of the color that you're gon na get And the availability that they have with them now i noticed some of you that seems really expensive, but like with anything else, it really depends on how much you're going to utilize it. For me, as somebody who does my hair a lot - and i am a hair and makeup artist - i'm going to use these all the time and i wanted them because they make my life so much easier, they're, real human hair. I can heat style them. I can color them a word on choosing a good color, for you, though, is to pick the color, that's closest, obviously to your hair color. But if you're trying to choose between two, i always recommend going with the lighter shade, because it's always easier to deposit a darker color. On top of something like an extension. Even if it's real hair than it is to lift a color or put highlights in it. Because human hair extensions, even though they are real hair, are still treated a lot of the times with preserving chemicals. Things like that and don't always react super well to lightening them. So word the wise just go with a shade. That'S a little bit lighter because it's easier to go darker. If you have to they had a lot of really amazing natural hair colors. They came packaged really nicely and honestly, i've seen a lot of brands out there that are way more expensive than the price ranges that these gave. So i'm not mad about the price, because i know that the quality of the hair is really good and then i'm gon na get a lot of use out of it. So let me show you how to apply these now when you get these ones, they come with the wire already attached and there's a little adjuster right here. So you're gon na have to measure it to your head. First, i've already gone ahead and done that, but they show you all of the instructions on their amazon site and it's super easy to do now. You'Re gon na go a couple of inches back and you're, going to create a circular parting around the crown of your head and then you're gon na clip it up. Okay, so you can kind of see the parting that i made now. I'Ve already measured this out, but literally all you do is place it over like a headband, and that's it don't worry if that fishing line isn't sitting perfectly once you put your hair down and kind of like comb over it with your fingers or a brush, it Blends in really easily, i will say that this isn't an exact match for me, but it does blend really well once all of my hair is down and it's a little bit lighter, but i can always again bring it darker, so you can kind of see we're. Not an exact match but you'll see how well it blends. When i take this down so then you're gon na take down that hair. You clipped up and kind of just move your hands over it, or you can even take that comb that they give you and that's literally it so now. My hair is all curled together nicely, so it blends a little bit easier. I think when your hair is curled, but you don't have to wear curls, i've definitely played with it straight and let me show you it's even longer: it's definitely thicker and it's so pretty it's incredibly comfortable. It'S super easy to take in and out the hair from these extensions feels like really good quality and it's thick. So that was one of the things i was a little bit worried about. Is that is it going to be too thin because it's just one band, whereas with clip-ins, you kind of put them all over your head, so it can get. You know a little bit more fullness everywhere, but i haven't noticed any issue. The only issue i will say with these is, if you put your hair into some sort of up style, you have to be careful about the back, because if you pull the hair away towards either side, it can show that band, which is where you might want To color it a little bit closer to your hair or just make sure to position your hair in the back in a way that it's going to cover up the band. Let me show you what i mean by that, so you can see it looks fine, but then, if i pull my hair there is the band right there um, so you do have to be careful. The other nice part about these is that you really can't see that fishing wire. That'S up here like if i go real close, you can probably see it, but anywhere else like you, wouldn't be able to even see it. I think that it feels secure, even without adding any clips to the halo extension piece, because it has that adjustable band that like fishing wire, so it feels really snug to the head and it doesn't feel like it's going to go anywhere. But obviously, i'm not like whipping my hair back and forth, but i would feel fine walking around with this and look how pretty. I think that these are 100 worth the cost. If you are going to go with some type of hair extension - and you want to be something that you can wear every day or something really easy where you don't feel like, you have to take a bunch of back combing out of your hair or unclip a Billion things and try to find a ton of different little clip-in pieces. This is for you, i will say i think, because my natural hair is so long like it goes down to about here. It blends really well with these extensions. Now, if you have shorter hair, you may want to even maybe bring them to your hairdresser and see if they can like just layer it. But if you curl your hair like this, it should blend in just fine or if you're gon na do some type of braid or ponytail. I don't necessarily think you need to cut the extensions or cut layers in them to blend them together really well. So now let me show you how easy it is to take these out. You literally just reach up here, find that little fishing wire and pull it out, and that's it. You guys see the difference now you can wash these and take care of these. Just like you would your normal hair. They do recommend on the website that you air dry them, but they dry pretty straight. So then, you can just go back in and heat style them they do recommend and i would also recommend to heat style them on a lower setting on your iron. So don't go all the way up to 450, because even though it's human hair remember, it's still probably been chemically treated in some way, and it is, you know, not attached to its original head. So it's gon na be a little bit more fragile regardless. So you can style these just any way that you would normal hair and i'm obsessed with them all right. I had to put them back in i'm obsessed with them, so i'm gon na link the information down below in the description box go ahead. Take a look!
