Hello and welcome back to my channel For those of you who have been following along. You know that I am in the market for some realistic, looking hair extensions and that journey began with me. Purchasing a halo, hair extension.. I'Ve seen a lot of them online and read a lot of great reviews, but I wasn't ready to shell out $ 500.. So I came across one by Sunny Hair Extensions, which I have reviewed in a two-part series.. One is an unboxing and one as a one month later tips and tricks that I will link in the description box down below.. But when I did that when I posted those videos, the company actually reached out to me and said that they would provide me a discount on any other products. I wanted to try out if I would be willing to share my honest reviews.. So that is what I have done, so this video is actually going to be a review of their clip-in hair extensions.. So this is what they look like this time around. I went for a slightly different colorway.. I know that the one that I got in the last video was really really close to my natural hair color, but I wanted to see what would happen if I got one that had a darker root and then went lighter at the bottom, because my natural hair Has a bit of that balayage look to it, so I wanted to see how that would land., Also with the clips having to go a little bit higher and my hair being so fine. I thought that the having the rooted option would look a lot better. If my hair were to move around or blow in the wind at all, because the Halos sit really low, so it's not as much of a concern where these will be a little bit higher up.. So that's why I chose a different color.. This is in color T 14/60, and this time I also got the 16 inches, because I found with the halo being 18 that it was just a little long for my hair and I'm getting these mostly because I want some more volume, not necessarily length and when You have them longer than your hair, it's a lot more obvious and you have to be a bit more careful with styling. I'll, probably end up getting the halo one cut once we are allowed to go back to our hairstylists.. So let's open these up.. Okay. Once again, these are incredibly soft, they feel really really nice and they are held on here by a twist tie and again, you've got your elastics here., So I am going to go and snip those and then we'll be right. Back., Okay, elastics have been successfully removed.. So now, let's take this apart and see how many pieces were working with., So we can unwrap the first weft. That'S what the color looks like you see the clips at the top. There's a good number of clips actually.. Sometimes, when you have less expensive extensions, they try to get away with fewer clips. But that's you want more. Like the more clips you have, the less weight there is per clip, so the less stress on that one specific area of hair when you clip it in.. So let's take a look at the color match, which is nowhere near as close as the other one.. I don't think I could possibly have gotten closer than that, but it's also not too bad.. It kind of gives a highlight effect.. The top is a little warmer. I think than my hair, so maybe my purple shampoo will work with that a little bit once I wash these out. The thing with hair extensions, though, if you get them and you do find that your hair extension is a bit lighter than your hair, because these Are human hair you can take them to a hair stylist and get them died and cut to blend better with your own hair style.. I read as well that it's actually better if you find that it's a little lighter because it's a lot easier to darken your hair extensions compared to lightening it.. Whereas you know a lot of processing has already happened to this hair. So you don't want to necessarily be putting it through a bleach treatment., So keeping your hair healthy will be better served if you're just adding color to it as opposed to stripping anything away.. So that's one strip, then we have one of these three-piece guys.. There'S a second one. That'S three pieces.! We have two more that are two clip wefts.. Oh sorry, three of the two pieces. And then we have one little guy here., Oh Whos, shedding a little bit.. Okay, so I actually like the little piece cause you can incorporate that into some other hair styles. Sometimes if you just want a little bit thicker of a braid or something like that., So that gives us seven pieces., Which is pretty decent.. These are this whole set. Was $ 89, which is incredibly cost effective compared to other extensions that are out there, which is why I stumbled across this brand in the first place., Because while I do want volume and luxuriousness in my hair, I am not willing to spend hundreds and hundreds of Dollars to get it. So so far so good.. I think the next step is for us to see what they look like in. So I'm going to go ahead and start installing them.. So with my hair again, because it's so fine like you can see., I like to start quite far down like if I as low as I can go with still having enough hair to attach a hair extension to. About. There is where I start. Like quite low, because I want all of the hair extensions to be kind of down here, so that there's still enough hair on the top to cover everything.. I know people with thicker hair can get away with putting some higher up, and I love the idea of that for blending. But the realities of my hair are different than that.. So let me grab I'm going to start with one of the two pieces because down at the nape of the neck is quite narrow., I'm not if I was putting these in for a night out on the town, I would be putting some product and back combing. The roots so that it could hold on.. I just really want to try these on right now, just to see them and I'm not so worried about longevity, because I'm going to be taking these out again: afterwards., Okay, so there's the first piece. I'm gon na. Let down just a little bit on top of that, so that we have a bit of the natural hair in between.. Let'S see how wide yes we're gon na do the four-piece guy here., I just kind of find the middle clip it in like so., So we're gon na let just a little bit. I don't know that I will actually be able to fit seven pieces in my hair.. I'Ve never put that many before. But. I mean you can see already just with with this hair. That'S already down once it's in and kind of in with my natural hair is in between. It doesn't look that bad. I think this is actually pretty good length for me., I'm going to take one of the three pieces with this one, I'm not starting in the middle I'm starting over at the side.. I never go into this piece. I want like a good inch of hair so that it can cover the extensions., So I've done this starting as far over as possible and wrapping around so now I have a little bit left, so I'm going to grab one of the two pieces to match up With that., Let's start that on this side and then bring that around to meet that other weft.. You know what Like you can tell, because I know what my hair color is and what that looks like, but it doesn't look crazy. Like it just kind of looks. Like I have some highlights, or something in there., Let's see if we can get away with maybe a couple more. I get a little nervous, putting them in higher than this., But let's see what happens.. So I'm going to do the same thing matching a three piece and a two piece. But this time I'm going to start on the other side. They're, so silky And Line that up. One trick that I've learned is, if you do end up with the edge kind of getting close and you're having trouble hiding it. If you unclip it and then kind of clip it, I don't know if you can see that so, instead of going straight across clip it at an angle, so then the hair in the extension itself will come forward., Which does a couple of things.. It will make the edge of your hair at the front, look thicker and then it will help use the hair extension hair itself to hide where that clip is., Because the hair is kind of coming out like that.. So it's not just like this weird right angle.. If you put them think about putting your extensions in kind of like a u-shape around the back of your head. Kind of like the way that the halo would attach when you're clipping that in. And now we just have this one little guy left., Which I don't Think I'm going to use for this look right now., But I I can see myself using that in the future for some hairstyles., Because again, when you have fine hair, your braids are really thin, but if you're doing a style, you can't always do the whole shebang. So you can just like put one of these, maybe one of the twos in and then do some kind of a style, and it just gives you a little bit extra volume for whatever look you're trying to achieve.. So let's take this down Yeah like there's. No styling. Hair extensions have a tendency to look better when they're styled.. I literally got out of the shower blow-dried my hair and I put a little bit of texture spray and that's it.. So considering that I'm actually incredibly impressed, I mean this is a way better blend than I thought.. It feels really nice.. Everything feels incredibly secure.. Nothing is pulling.. Nothing feels like it's about to fall, out. Nothing's, moving around., It doesn't feel heavy.. This is about 120 grams of hair, so it's not like tons and tons and tons and tons. If you have really thick hair, you might need a couple sets., But I'm actually really really impressed with how easy that went. In., Like I wasn't really being precise with it at all, I was just throwing it on to see. And it went in beautifully and just looks like. I have a bit of a stronger balayage in my hair than I do., And I'm like that. When my hair parts, which will inevitably happen when you have thin hair, like that, looks a lot less obvious than like if that parts - and you can see the top Like if someone's staring at your head, they're gon na see it.. But it's a lot less obvious than when you have like something this color all the way down and then the hair parts you can see it really easily.. I just wanted to also point out how smooth this looks., Like it's, not obvious, that there's rows and rows extensions in there.. There'S a couple places that feel where I can feel them, but it looks very smooth. There'S no ridges in my hairline, where the extensions are sitting., So the wefts do lie really flat against the head.. I think these would actually pair really well with the halos as well. If that's something that you're looking into., The halo does a nice bulk of volume at the bottom and doesn't put pressure on your hair strands. But if you want a little bit more of a blend above that, you could definitely get both of these sets and mix. And match and pair them together. Cause they are offered in the same colors so that a cool option that's available as well.. So overall, I am incredibly impressed with this, especially for the price I know for this quality. I have way more expensive, hair extensions at home that do not blend this well.. They never matched my hair color as well, and I've had them dyed. And they just don't sit as comfortably as these.. So I'm really really floored. So highly recommend. I'll leave a link to them down below., I'm not an Amazon affiliate. Yet so I don't get any percentage of anything.. I just think it's a great product and it from the market for hair extensions. But like me, don't want to spend a small fortune on them highly recommend checking them out., They have a ton of color options. And again, like their customer service, is really really helpful. So if you aren't sure about the color or the length or the style, reach out to them. They've been very helpful in helping me choose the ones that would match me better.. So that's it for today's review. I hope you found this helpful and stay tuned for the next one.
