We Tried Wearing $9 Hair Extensions For A Day

I saw a ton of buzz going on online about these extensions from Amazon and I had to check them out. It turns out they have over 3,000 positive reviews and most of those are 5 stars. There'S like 20-plus different colors. They apparently looked super high-quality and there are only nine dollars now. Hair extensions are notoriously expensive. So I grabbed a couple of my friends to help. Try these out and we're gon na see if nine dollar extensions can actually be good. It'S cool that the extensions come in different lengths. I like to keep it pretty natural, like I'm. Not super glam or over-the-top, so I'm going to choose 16. I say: let's go 20 inches, don't think I go home right first. Things first is to see if I can actually get a good color match. I'M kind of doubtful because I die and highlight my hair. A lot so it's like eight different colors they're named two different things, but they just look like different variations of platinum blonde. So it's time to pick a color easy black okay. So there are different shades of black, which I didn't know. There is a black brown. There is a natural black. It looks like there's like 12 different options for brown, hair or more, and not all the pictures really like match up to the descriptor. So it's a lot more than I expected and it's actually kind of hard to choose which one is gon na be a match. For my hair 276. 1/3 cuz. That'S the color. The color we are going to go with is call 6b, h2 7j. So the pretty accurate description of my hair color just reading a couple of these reviews right now, one of these as amazing for the price. This is the best nine dollars I've ever spent on beauty. It does say one negative is that you can't really comb it. Well - and it does get a little sticky - that's not not something, I'm interested in stinky, it's only nine dollars, so what's lures that could happen right Wow, it feels really soft actually like be a perfect match. Highlights, are pretty stark like a really bad 90s dye job. Wow, this is like kind of freaky, I'm actually kind of shocked. I think it really really blends really well and it looks really real. Who is she? Oh, it looks like it matches pretty well, so I don't think for the fullness of my hair is exactly mashed with just one set of hair extensions, so I think a second a second set would have helped that out a lot. Oh, my goodness, oh I feel like a princess. What do you think and from what I can tell in the mirror? I look amazing. I am also aware that if I play with it too much, it's just gon na fall out and then everyone and then I'll be exposed so like I can see where obviously my hair ends and the extensions start like it's not a perfect blend, and so I'm, Like a little worried about like keeping it all in place, it's not totally uncomfortable, but I'm aware that something's done to the head, so I think that's gon na be something like throughout the day goes away. I know it's not oh yeah. I look ridiculous. No! No! No no stepped into a phone booth to admire my hair for like xx times a day. I keep playing with them and they feel pretty good, like you feel, like they're, in place. Okay, so it's 4:15 and all the little annoyances inside the hair is holding up pretty well. I made it to the end of my work day and although the extensions have held up very well, I am happy I'm not even gon na wear them out after this. Like they're, already kind of pulling on my hair, hey yeah gravity has really done its job and it's just making my hair really heavy and my head and my scalp are kind of robbing a little bit as fun as they we're I'm over it from now. I thought they looked and felt like real hair. The color was a perfect match and you know they stayed secure and as far as I could tell, nobody could tell that they were fake or could see where they were clipped in. So I definitely think they were worth it. They got really tangley a lot of flyaways. I would pay a little more for better quality hair extensions. I think they're good for maybe like five six hours. I don't think they're good for an all-day type of thing.
