Vivien Beauty Hair Extensions Review | How To Clip In Extensions On Short Hair

Hi guys welcome back to my channel, so you guessed it we're back with another hair extension review. This is the packaging of their hair extensions. It'S really pretty. It says, vivian beauty on it and it is remy human hair extensions. They sent me 20 inches in length and they sent me the color blonde with like darker brown roots and i dyed it red to match my hair by the way i actually re-dyed my hair red. I don't know if you guys follow me on instagram, but you could see there the process that i did. I actually re-bleached my entire hair to a bright orange and then re-dyed it red. With the same dye that i'm used, i was using to dye the extensions, so it matches better and my hair actually looks better. My roots are brighter and there's way less patchiness than the first time. I did it. So i'm kind of happy with the result. So this is how the hair extensions look right outside of the package. This is the color that i dyed them to it's like a close match to my hair. I know that my hair looks a bit brighter from the front because that part was bleached more but from the inside. It'S the exact same shade as these hair extensions and i'm pretty happy about it. By the way i used a drugstore box dye for this. It was by garnier ultra color in the shade black cherry, and it wasn't that dark of a red. So if you're looking to box out your hair red bleach at first, though um i do recommend this hair dye, it didn't wash off right away either. So the color looks pretty vibrant and strong. I recommend it i'll be showing you guys how i installed my hair extensions. First of all, i did straighten my hair again. If you follow me on instagram, you know that my natural hair is very very curly and it just doesn't match the texture of the extension, so i have to straighten it to make the match as close as possible. I am going to attempt to curl my hair with extensions and the way that molly mae does it. I don't know if you guys see molly mee's videos, but she has the most beautiful hair ever and she always shows how she curls it, and it looks so. Nice and she wears hair extensions all the time, so i thought this would be a good video to try out her method of curling her hair and show you guys along the way to start, i am going to section my hair, leaving a tiny bit at the Bottom and grab a three clip in piece, so this one, it's not the biggest one. They have there's a forklift in which is the biggest size in the package and i'm going to actually clip it upside down under my hair. Just because my hair is short - and these are 20 inches, so they're a lot longer than my hair. So that way, when i put my hair down, you'll see this before my actual hair, so it looks more natural. So to do this, i literally just flip my head upside down, open the clips and then i'm gon na literally just clip it upside down. Then flip my head and then boom see like my the hair extensions are under my hair. I don't know. I always find that this way is like a lot more natural than clipping it the right way, because then you can see just the short bits underneath popping up now, i'm gon na section my hair for a four clip piece like right behind my ears more so This is a four clip in piece. It is a lot wider in size by the way the hair feels so soft and nice, and really really good quality. It didn't shut at all when i was dyeing it and a lot of hair extensions do shed when you like, put chemicals on them, which is nice okay. Now we have the four clip secure and place. I should have worn a color other than brown, because i feel like it's kind of contrasts not too well anyways. Now we're gon na section another bit like an inch and a half above the first section that we did so kind of like here, make sure there's like enough hair in between the sections to cover the tracks and the clips. So i'm gon na grab another three clip piece this one over here. Okay, now i'm gon na throw some of my hair down. Now we have the two clips and the one clip pieces. So we got two two clips and two one clips so we're gon na. Do two clips first and then the one clips are gon na come more in the front just to make the blend at the front more natural because they do have a few layers. And so here i'm gon na just section like right around my temples. You can use a suction cup, but i have like acrylic nails on and i feel that they section my hair a lot better or even like the same way. I'M just gon na clip this in i'm gon na do the same exact thing. On the other side. Now we're left with two one clips these two pieces over here, so they're gon na go one over here and one over here boom. We have 20 inch long hair, it's thick, it's blended and it looks amazing. Okay, i just wanted to show you guys more of a close-up before we start curling it together, like the blend is so nice and it looks really natural. I feel that adding curls is going to make it look a lot more put together and nicer, and i really want to try out molly's technique. Okay, i just clipped in a rough section just to section to the bottom half of the extension. So that's the three clip that we have at the very bottom and the forklift, that's right above it. I have my curling iron over here. This is just an, i think, an inch and a half curling iron from the brand conair that i bought of shoppers drummer like ages ago. I'Ve been using this curling iron for like ever and it does the job. I don't think it's the best, but it works. Okay, so we're gon na section in one direction going this way and then put it in the barrel, hold the bottom and hold it for a few seconds i'll, let it loose. So it's kind of like a softer curl. Look that we're going for we're going to take another inch section, do the same thing and let it loose. She usually like rolls hers and clips them in place, but i'm just too lazy to do that at the moment. So we're gon na do like a rough version of hers. Instead of calling this trying out molly mae's version of curling, her hair extensions, i'm gon na call this mars version, my own, so yeah we'll see how that goes. Okay, so i curl the medium section of my hair the same way under these just the side that side and the other side opposite direction. I'M gon na curl this section and the top part off-camera to make it quicker for you guys, but it's a very simple process. It all falls the same way and sectioning your hair helps a lot okay, so our hair is all curled now so we're gon na. Just brush it out the same way: molly does it. I guess that's the part, that's inspired by her and just gently hold it so that the clips don't come out and brush hold and brush same thing here, just hold them, so they don't come off and brush. So that the curls become looser and more natural here, too, just brush them up brush those curls out, i'm gon na just finger comb them to make them look a little bit messier. I, like my curls to be like not too too polished, moisturizing mist to make it look shinier and yeah. I hope you guys like this video.
