How To: High Ponytail With Clip In Extensions | Comfortable/No Tracks Showing • Estelle'S Secre

What'S up, deities is Lindsay. Welcome back to my channel. Today we are doing the high ponytail was clipping. Extensions actually posted a video on how to clip in extensions last year, and I asked you guys if you wanted a ponytail video. You said. Yes, I totally forgot about it, and then I filmed the big chop video, so I had to wait a while until my hair grew out, so I could wear it clippings. So I could film this video for you guys. I apologize that I didn't do it before cutting my hair. I just totally forgot so today we're going to be doing that I'm wearing extensions from a style secret, which you guys have seen in my previous 3 videos. I think you guys keep asking what here. It is: is this hair, it's the natural black 20 inches 180 grams will get a little bit more into the hair in a minute, but for this tutorial or for this hairstyle you're, just going to need a brush or two I'm using the paddle brush. For my extensions and the wooden brush for like my natural hair to blend it all together, you're also going to need a little clip to hold the hair out the way, as well as a hair tie ponytail holder, whatever you want to call it in this pack. You'Ll get ten total weft, so you'll get two four clip weft two three clip left two two clip well and then you'll get four a little one clip left so starting off we're just sectioning the bottom layer of my hair. It does not have to be even as you can see, and I also kind of have like a bump in my hair, like it clearly wasn't all the way straighten, but it's okay, because it's about to go into a ponytail. So I just clip the top part up and I'm very sticking a clip left and we're going to clip that upside down on the top layer that you sectioned off. You don't want to clip it on the bottom layer like you, normally would right-side up or whatever, because we are putting the hair into a ponytail. So you want the west's to go the opposite way. I know that might sound a little bit confusing, but, as you can see here, it's clipped on to like above the part, if that will help you clip it above the part, so yeah, it's upside down, you do that and you just keep doing it. So I'm flexing off another layer and then I'm taking a three clip left and doing the exact same thing here. I just didn't make the part very. Even so. That'S why I'm loosing that hair up so that it's a more even part and clipping that they're flipping it back and we're doing it again so again, just parting and sectioning off and then clipping upside down. So I like to clip the clips upside down until I get about right where my ears, like that's the last section, we're going to do upside down and then the rest of the clips are just going to be clipped in how you would normally clip in extensions. If you were just wearing your hair down, this will help. I know it might feel a little uncomfortable right now with the clips upside down, but when you put it into the ponytail, it's so that your clips don't have that weird, like they're, not poking out, and they make it look a lot more sleek when you actually Make the ponytail so, as I said, we're just going right-side up now how you would normally clip in the extension you're just going to keep doing that until you basically run out of extensions again. There are 10 pieces in here, there's only six long left and then you get those four little clips which we will use later. I just kind of clip it in how my head is shaped, so the smaller clips are at the bottom and very top of my hair and then the longer wefts are in the middle part of my hair. Again, we're doing this so that you don't see the clip ins sticking out like you, don't want to see that. So this is why we're doing the upside down and right setup method. Now, once we get to the top is where I'm using those little one clip left and then, as you can see on the side, I do have a few pieces sticking out as well. So I'm taking the other two clips and I'm using those on the sides of my head now, once all the extensions are clipped in I'm just going to flip my head over and use my wooden brush to kind of blend. My natural hair with the clip ins, make sure that's all blended well and then I'm taking my paddle brush to brush the extensions. But what impressed is not brush extensions? Well like it just it doesn't so so that's why I'm using the paddle brush. But then, if you use the paddle brush to try and blend it, you'll get stuck in the extension. So that's why I do that. You can also use some edge, control and stuff if you're into that as well. I just kind of like it looking a little bit more messy, which is why I don't use edge control or any thing on my edges. I just go free, alright, so I'm taking my ponytail holder and I'm tying that about three times and obviously you can try. It as tight or as loose as you want it, depending on what style you're going for. You can even make the ponytail a little bit higher. If you want that as well and then I'm just going in with some depends she's like any pieces that are sticking out a little bit, that I don't like I'm just taking the bobby pins to secure those down, and I just brush it out and we're pretty Much done again, if you do like edge control or anything like that in your hair feel free to add it.
