How I Cut And Layer My Luxy Hair Extensions | Ashley Gaita

What up you guys welcome back to my channel today, I'm doing something a little crazy, but it ain't nothing I haven't done before, so I just got brand new hair extensions and because my other ones were just getting old ratty and my my natural hair actually outgrew The ones I had before, I'm not to cut them with you guys if y'all these things are so annoying eyes. Oh I've never had my extensions professionally cut or anything like that. I always do myself. I also cut my own hair, so I just like doing things myself, because a it's cheaper B. If I mess it up, it's my own fault and I can't get angry at anybody else here we go. You got hair extensions girl and you want to cut them up to look good or you thinking about it. Lauren you just want to see if I'm gon na mess mine up and keep on watching baby, alright. So, first and foremost, if you're going to do this yourself, you're gon na need three things. You need your hair extensions, you're gon na need a fresh, clean pair of scissors like the newer, the better you don't want anything like blunt. That'S gon na just mess up the ends of your new tensions. You'Re also gon na need a sharpie marker, yes, you're, going to actually label your hair extensions. Why? Because you'll see why and you're gon na need like a trashcan, because you're just gon na be dumping. Yo hair in here just gon na, let it drop well, you cut it sitting on my bed, so I'm gon na probably have hair all in my bed, but it's okay, nothing! Your there! Alright! Here we go. Let'S just get on with the shelf. First, I'm just gon na brush my extensions out, make sure they're, really nice and detangled before you start chopping them up natural hairs hanging out. I did dye my hair darker to match my extensions. I dyed my hair with the Garnier dark brown color. It'S just the regular dark brown I'm gon na take my first extension, my first one, the three weft, the smallest one and it's gon na go on the bottom that by the knee my neck, so I'm gon na go ahead and I'm going to label this. One see so it's nothing crazy. You can see it. Nobody else will ever be able to see it and that's basically what you're gon na be doing. You'Re gon na be labeling as you go. Okay, let's put them in okay, so this is West number. Two! Oh look at this: do we got four left and I'm going to label it number two number two is good. Now we're gon na go up a little more, so I'm gon na go ahead and grab another three left and I'm gon na label. This one number three we're getting there now, I'm gon na grab my last four left gon na right number pull on it. So the reason why I'm labeling it when you do chop up your extensions and you have them in your hair, all good to go. Everything looks perfect when you take them out and go and put them in next time, if you don't put them in the exact same spots, the same wefts you're gon na see how uneven it becomes. So I accidentally put this one on the bottom. Then it's gon na be like what what okay we got two more to put in, and it's gon na, be the two two wefts put aside over here. This one's not as crucial the label, put my right side in you, put your right side and your right side up. Okay, here you have it guys and here's the situation we got here, okay. This is why we can't leave it like this it just to me. I, like things looking as natural as can be, and hey okay guys, so I'm gon na make it look like a natural like layering in my hair, because, as you can see, this is my end of my natural hair right here and then everything else just kind Of drops like six inches and you're just gon na part it directly in the middle, and even though it looks decent from the front still like when you wear your hair, look back everyone's like what length do I want. I think I'm gon na go right about here. Here we go, make sure you ain't, cutting your real hair girl. You don't want to like take your attentions out and be like happen to my actual hair. You know it's already looking legit now you're gon na. Do the same thing for the other side now, but this is the thing here. You got to make sure that it is even with this side you got to be even girl. You can't have no lopsided head hair going on you're gon na almost hold it like what your other one yep and you're just going so nice nice make sure it's over the garbage. Can this time shikes so that side was easier for some reason. Interesting. You look in this mirror. I have a mirror over here. So if I'm looking over here no disrespect to y'all, I just got alright. So this is my base. This is how this is the length I want it. I want it this long. Yes, I do now. I'M going to grab the two wefts, you pull them to the front and I'm gon na push these to the side. This is the two on the top cuz. You want the top to be a little shorter, just ever so slightly shorter cuz. You want to give that like layered illusion so you're also gon na grab like the sides too. That'S to side webs you put in you're grabbing that too girl, so basically you're taking the two top wets and your side webs and you're, leaving the two bottom left alone. Please get cut shorter. Do it just like this? Let me take um the sides here and I'm just gon na, like kind of do like a little bit of a face frame to kind of match. Framing it. So that's pretty much it you guys. We did it now granted my natural hair looks frizzy and that's why it looks weird. I just got to do a keratin treatment on it, because I stripped out my other keratin treatment by dyeing my hair to match the extension. Let'S see what it looks like from the back okay, so now it blends in more yeah. Okay, so guys! That'S it! That'S it! So now it like legit much better. Absolutely now, you know. Obviously you guys probably know a little secret of making hair extensions. Look extra! Legit is by just doing this wave curls like in your hair, just kind of it just makes it just like twirl into each other and then you're, just you're, looking real natural.
