How To Apply And Style A Full Head Of Clip-In Hair Extensions | By Cliphair

Hi guys my name is holly may and today i'm going to be showing you how to apply clip hair extensions correctly and also one of my favorite hairstyles to do when i'm wearing clip hair extensions. So please keep watching okay, so, as you can tell, i have blow dried, my hair um, it's a little bit pink from the last video um and my extensions are still going strong with the pink vibe, but basically i'm just going to show you how i apply. My extensions correctly so that you know they look real, there's no clips showing all that kind of stuff, because a lot of people don't actually know how to like put them in correctly like where to put the wefts in which area and all that kind of stuff. So i'm going to show you how to do that today. Um, the best thing to do the tools to use are a backcombing brush, um or just a comb, hairspray or any kind of like texture powder or texture mousse. Whatever you fancy, as you can see, my hair is still lovely and pink from when i last dyed it. If you haven't seen that video make sure you go and check it out um, i dyed my hair extensions, um and yeah they're still looking really cute um. So yeah, i'm gon na pop these in my hair and i'm gon na show you step by step how to do so. Okay, so i've blow-dried my hair and just quickly, if you're wondering how to get really smooth silky sleek looking hair, it's the least, stuffed heat protection, blow-dry cream, it's actually incredible and um. It just keeps your hair really sleek straight um and just really smooth and all that kind of stuff. But the reason why i mentioned this is because it's very very smooth - and if i was to put extensions in my freshly washed hair with this stuff in it, they probably just slide out so um texture, creams, hairspray i've got these two here, so i've got to Be twisted at me: i've got the got to be a powerful volumizing styling powder, perfect for putting your extensions in. So i'm going to be using this today, oh and a comb, you can't forget comb, okay, so the first thing that i do is part my hair. So i'm just going to turn around and i'm just going to part my hair like so so. We'Ve got this here and then what we're going to do is we're going to add the texture and then what we're going to do is going to back comb. It. A little bit so that the extensions have something to grip onto so with the wefts. You get. You get four three clips, but you get the small three clips. Um you get the bigger three clips. You get two two clips and then two one clips um. So what i start off with is, i start with the smaller three clips, and i put that first on here also to get a bit more grip on the extension you can always like twist it and then push it down. Then we're just going to do the same again and we're going to take the other three small clip right now. Moving on to the big three clips and the last three clip all right now, we've got the all of the three clips in there. You want to just bring it to the front and just brush it through right. So now, as you can see, my hair is a little bit flat around here. I'M gon na then take the side and just part it on one side, directly put the texture paste on this part. Now, with the front parts of my hair, i really try to um like backcomb it quite a bit right and then we do the other side. Then and then, with the one clips, i literally just pop right underneath where my kind of bangs are right and there we go so now. What i'm going to do is i'm just going to style it. It looks a bit crazy at the moment and i'll be back with you to do the finish. Styling. Okay, wait. There not finished. I need to brush these out first um, so i'm going to go in now with the mousse. This is they've got to be twisted. Curling mousse i'm just going to pop this in my hands and then i'm just going to put it all through the hair. It smells some real stuff all right and then i'm gon na brush it through. I don't really actually brush it through. I just kind of brush it through my fingers, and this is the final look, so that is the end.
