Hi guys welcome to my channel. My name is madeline if you're new, if not welcome back so today, i'm doing another hair extension. Video, i feel like my channel - has just become so many hair extension videos combined. But it's like something that i genuinely love. I feel like every like beauty, influencer anybody who has like a channel or someone who's, passionate about like beauty related things has like their niche. Okay and some people, just like brows and some people is like special effects makeup. My thing like i love makeup, i love all that, but i love hair extensions. I love being able to change my look really really fast. I love wigs hair extensions. All that type of stuff i like being able to change the way i'm looking and the way. I'M you know perceived based off of how i'm feeling for a day, so i am so excited to announce that today's video is sponsored by bellamy um. I have never ever tried bellamy hair extensions. I have used many different hair extension brands in the past um. I know that bellamy is like the most like high-end. I think it's like the most used by like celebrities, and you know all that jazz um and as as for communication, it was extremely easy to figure out my color, like i feel like um. You know you, you can color match with the uh with uh hair extensions and you kind of have to like look through websites, and you know find your color based off pictures and reviews and stuff literally. They just asked for a picture of my hair unfiltered and then boom matched me with a hair color in like 10 seconds, like it was so fast um. They have also are known like for their thickness like from head to toe, and that is like rain's true. I can tell you um ahead of time. I can show you a little box. It came in. These are the ones i got. Can you guys see? They are the bellamy, silk, seam extensions, um and i have used them. I'Ve worn them in a couple tic, tacs and i've gotten. So so many questions about them. I always get questions about hair and hair extensions and stuff, but i can't believe how many it's probably because the length i got plus like the volume, the sheer volume of these guys um is incredible. So this is a little box. It came in. This is 260 grams. It'S the bellamy, silk seam 260 grams in the color golden hour, blonde balayage, and it is like a dead on color match um before you make fun of me. I haven't gotten my hair done since january, so, like my balayage has definitely grown out at the moment. Um and i don't have my appointment set until may so there is that, but i got them in the 24 inches, so they are hella long, they're, very rapunzel-esque. Um - and i really wrestled with myself about what hairstyle i was gon na do today, because i love wearing my hair curly, i feel like i have short black hair, it's growing out and i definitely had the ends thinned out a little bit. The last time i got my hair done so i feel like it blends, with my extensions a lot better now, but what's on the ground, there's a scooby-doo sock like i was saying um i got the extensions about a week ago. I never make a video for anything for that matter right after receiving a product, because i like to use it and wear it and see how it wears and see how it sheds - and i can say my honest review of these extensions - is that they are very High-End, they are okay, um, they are very like i can't explain. I feel, like these extensions will hold up extremely well. They'Re made really really well made really thick again head to toe extensions, tend to be thinner towards the bottom more feathery. These are like these are thick from head to bottom from from clip to the to the bottom um, and i - and you can definitely tell when they're in my hair, also a lot of people get their hair extensions cut to their hair. I haven't i. Instead of doing that, instead of getting them cut into my hair, i honestly just wear texture in my hair. I don't wear straight. Sleek looks a lot, especially out of the house, i'll wear them in tic, tacs and stuff, where i'm not like showing my face. But if you want to wear like really sleek straight looks, and you have like blunt cut, hair or short hair and there's like a distinct difference between where, like an extension, starts, if you color match good enough, especially if you have dark hair, you can honestly get Away with it, but i highly recommend if you want to wear them like straight, if you get tape or something you definitely want to get them cut into your hair um, to match your lengths and to create kind of layers and stuff to blend. In now, like i said with me, the way i finesse my extensions to make them look super blended with my hair, as i always added texture, whether that's a wave, a curl um. You know some type of texture into the hair and it kind of just blends in my ends with the ends of the extensions or i guess, beginning of the extension. So without further ado, i'm just going to hop in and i'm going to show you guys how. I put these in how i style them, what they look like all that jazz. First of all, the box is so cute. It comes with this little test strip so that you can, you know, take out your test strip match it with your hair and see how you feel about it and return it before opening the rest. Like you have that option, a lot of places, don't allow you to do that once you open the hair, the hair is done for no return. This is them. They are 24 inches. They are the golden hour balayage, so they still have a little bit of a curl in them. From a look, i did from like a tic tac um, i did wearing them. This is how long they are so like that's what they look like from the top. All the way to the bottom, oh, i kind of like how the bottoms have like a really light. I feel like when you have your hair lightened, naturally like, as you can tell how my hair is lightened. It'S like really light at the bottom. Look at the tips that's kind of where they lighten the most, and i feel like the extensions do that which i really really like, but i think the amazing part about these is that i think i'm gassing them up. They are bomb um. The amazing part about them is that they uh the silk seam. I guess it literally just looks like how they would make their tape ins, you know, and then they just put a clip on it. So tape, ins, if you don't know, are really really undetectable and really really thin and there's not like um, like i think. Most extensions have like a sewn part at the top. Uh versus, like tapens, are just all the hair kind of like glued together into one little strip. That'S exactly how these are. So that's why they're very undetectable they're very much like tape ins, just in like a weft in the strip um, it's 220 grams! So it's a lot of hair. It'S like the density of like a real, thick ponytail. So, like that's the density of the ponytail, so you have to take that density, plus the density of your natural hair and that's how much hair is going to be in your head, um, so yeah uh. As for the pieces, i believe there is one two three four five six seven i believe, there's seven pieces. Seven clips will go through it as i put them in my hair. There'S a couple two clip wefts a couple: three clip wefts one: four clip weft um, pretty standard for clip-ins. So because you know our heads are all round and they kind of like follow this pattern, so i'm just gon na put them in look how close look at how just based off of sending them a picture. Look at how close they matched it to my hair. Isn'T that crazy, they matched it hella close and i feel like if you have blonde hair like a balayage, it's better like to have a little bit lighter of hair extensions, because then it just looks like your balayage gets a little lighter at the tips. Naturally, um versus, if you get like hair, that's a little bit too dark and your my ballet edges lighter uh. Then it's a little bit harder to finesse, so i'm just gon na start throwing these in. I know a lot of people have like really um serious techniques when putting them in if you are doing like on a prom or doing something like that. Like an event, i definitely would like tease where you're clipping them in that whole thing, but i'm going to show you my day to day how fast i do this. So i take a two clip left. I lift up my hair. I don't even part a section at first, because i have blunt hair. I literally lift up the whole ponytail and just clip it right onto the base of my neck right where the nape is no hair. Underneath none of that, because i that's where my hair kind of ends up showing, so i want one right at the nape of my neck. Like i said, i'm wearing my hair down, it won't be pulled up. You won't be able to see um the clips, because these are the seamless clips i feel like you can get away with just like clipping them right at the base like if you look, there's no hair underneath i just clipped it at the base of my neck. So then, i'm taking a three clip weft just going a little bit above that, like i said you can tease. If you want to nope, i'm not going to do that. We'Re not going to do that. If you want to do a straight sleek, look, you have the same length, hair or shorter than mine. I would clip up the bottom like third of your hair and then just do the top portions, because what gives away that you have extensions, is little hairs poking out down here on the neck area. So now i'm going to take the four clip left just clip that in above it i told you it's like super fast people think that this takes a long time. It really doesn't like when i have my hair extensions in and done people are like. Oh my god. I know that took you forever and i'm like i swear, i swear it did not take long. Let me pull it all forward really fast. So now that's what we're working with right now now we need to start kind of getting some around the base. So i'm going to take a big section here. I just keep going up like two inches at a time, um and then also remember like you can play around and move them around. So now, i'm going to take this two clip left here and i'm going to put it right at the side of my head. Like this and then i'm going to take - and this two clip left place it right at the side of my head right here - okay, i try this. Like part, i try to bring close to the close to my hairline, but not too close. We'Re gon na see it like. If the wind blows, i have to make sure there's like baby hairs and stuff in front of it like that, we're coming along and then we're gon na get kind of close to the hairline here, see this little shape. I just cut out i'm gon na. Take this four clip left, there's another four, my bad, so there's two four clip left, i'm gon na do this and then i'm gon na clip it around like this. You see the! U i'm kind of making just like that. You throw your hair down like this perfect and then for the last one. This is a three clip. Weft we're gon na. Do the same thing same thing just like this, and we are curling the hair or putting a wave into it. I guess so we can get away with leaving out all this top hair. Now, if you want to do a straight sleek look like i said i would pin up the bottom third and then i would also bring my clips as close to my hair part. As i was as i could get them, you know without it being detectable. Okay make sure you can't see this clip back here. So my balayage has darker pieces underneath i'll blend those in with my curls it's just because my balayage is growing out so you'll have to ignore, but i'm just going to bring it all forward. It'S so long! Do you see how long it goes? It goes like all the way down to like. Well, let me stand up for you. It goes all the way down to like right here, like my belly button's like right here, so it goes like down to my belly button. Isn'T it cute, i feel like they're, so mermaidy? Okay, i will say i did prep the extensions i'm gon na brush them really carefully. So the way i brush them is i hold the base, so they don't come. Undone, i'm gon na gently brush through don't rip through them, see this piece we're gon na try to like blend that in see. I told you i got dark pieces underneath, but yeah you don't want to rip through them, because that kind of just makes them like frizz out. I feel, like all extensions kind of frizz out, that's like the end of their life, start to get frizzy and damaged because they're not attached to like a root or anything um. I think blonde ones honestly have shorter life spans. So you have to take a little bit better care of them, but this is how they look at the moment. They look cute, they look gorgeous and i will say i did prep the extensions and my hair by like dousing them in this 44 iron guard uh. That is like the main thing. If you want to make your extensions last, a long time is to throw iron guard on them at all times any type of heat protectant to make sure that they're not getting fried up. Because, honestly, that's all i do. I just put tons of heat on them constantly and then i also like to add um some batiste to the root of my hair. So there's a little bit of volume which i'm gon na do right now, because my hair is like freshly cleaned. I just hate how freshly cleaned hair feels it feels so like floppy and like lifeless, so i throw a little bit of batiste in it. I let this soak in and then i kind of rub it out. Okay. So luckily, for me my extensions still have a little bit of a curl in them, which is realistic, like i could have like honestly. The best part about the extensions is that whatever style i had them in previously kind of still is in them. So then, i really just have to like blend my hair in with the texture that i have previous to get rid of the textures. I have i just wash them the way i wash them is honestly. I just kind of like hold it together, like a ponytail scrub through the hair, and i always let it air dry. It takes a long time honestly to let the mirror dry, but i always let them air dry. I need to get another balayage sheesh um. I always let them air dry just to avoid the ex extra damage and it's like a whole process. So you can't like wash your hair extensions and then expect to be somewhere in like an hour. You should wash them the day before you have anything planned. I'M just going to throw some waves in, i use my cheese, spin and curl. This is life changing okay, especially if you curl your hair. Often it helps you do it really really fast. So the only thing is is because these are so long. The spin and curl the way it works is you need a little bit smaller of sections. So you see how this section has a big chunk of like my thick hair and then a chunk of extension, i'm going to go right at the base of where the my like natural hair starts and kind of just curl it in with the extension that way. It kind of blends my little ends in with the hair, so i've done tons of lives and talked about this cheeseburning girl. They sent me this around the holiday season. I had like a little code with them at the time. I don't know it's inactive. Still. My favorite thing ever i got all the girls in my life one of these because they are so amazing. You can't like burn yourself. Your arms don't get tired, there's a timer, which i love, so your curls are like consistent. That'S the one thing i hate is like if i hold my hair, like one hair, a little too like long versus another one like not like i'm rushing on, i hate when my curls are inconsistent, so um yeah. I like that. It kind of gives me like a wave if that makes sense, i feel like it's like the perfect curl. I don't like super super curly curly curls. I like curls, that i can brush out and make like a body wave type of thing. So that's what i'm doing i'm just throwing this in it honestly takes like four seconds to do. My whole head. You guys, will see it like takes no time at all um. Now that i'm getting closer to the face, i will start kind of like i like to alternate my curls back and forth throughout the rest of the head. But when i start to get closer to the face, i kind of like them all to start facing away it frames my face a lot when they're, like kind of like blown away from my face. So that's kind of the way i like to do them and then also, as you can see, i've only been doing like the bottom half that's kind of like where i like my curls, to sit like from the bottom half down. I don't like a ton on top of my head um as i get closer to my face. I kind of work up. You know what i mean, like i kind of like my curls, to get a little higher the closer i get to my face. I will eventually see how they're all pieced together, i will brush them out. That'S like the key to like 20 21, 20 20 curls um, i feel like people are like. How do you make your curls look good? You got to brush them out girl. I know it's scary like if you don't brush your curls out. It seems scary because you're like i'm, going to lose my curl. If you let the curl completely cool down like right now, they're hot still, so if you brush them out, you're gon na lose some of that curl. Let them fully cool down brush them out and it's like the softest velvetiest waves ever trust. Just trust me. Okay, so now that this side's done, i'm going to hop off camera curl this side, real, quick and then i'm going to show you guys how i brush them out. Okay, i just finished my other side. It'S still cooling, but this side is cool now, so i'm going to show you guys how i brush it out. I take a brush, sorry, there's hair in it and i hold at the bottom starting there. You see how it's starting to kind of work. Its way up and i kind of hold it and brush it all together like this, i do the little maneuver where i hold the top, and all this does is give me the beachiest natural body waves like it takes away the curls so they're not like i'm Curly cue and just makes them like body waves. Then the front is the most important part. Okay, just like that kind of blend these all together in the front, you see look at the difference so, like this side is like pc and then this side. Let me stand up for you, so you can see, look at the difference. One side is like velvety smooth and then one side is like pc see, don't leave them like this lean like this come on girl. Look at how blended and cute this is. Aren'T they pretty and they're so long and like voluminous, i, like a mermaid, i told you they're thick as f on the ends, look how thick they are at the bottom. You see that don't they look cute all right, you guys that is it for today's video.
