Hi everybody cat here head of Education for Bellamy hair. I wanted to take some time today to go over some quick tips on matching yourself for clipping extensions. Now, the first thing that I always say and have an idea what you're trying to achieve with these. Are you trying to enhance your color, your fullness, your length, all of the above, the next thing you're gon na want to do is find the color. That'S gon na be right for you now when you're matching try not to focus on the root area, because this is not what the eye sees, and this is not what you're trying to visually extend it's going to be the ends of your natural hair. So, for example, when I pull my natural ends out, what I'll notice is that this color is kind of like a mid-range dark blond color now from here. This is gon na help me narrow down which color options will be right for me. I can see that these darker tones will not give the effect that I want and won't give a smooth transition. I'M gon na want to go for something kind of in this mid-range area. That will give me the illusion of the same color as my natural hair. Now, if I want to use these extensions to enhance my color, for example - and I want to give it a brighter tone - I know that I need this kind of mid-range color to help with that transition. However, at this point I can start looking at maybe the guy Tang Bali eyes or even my silk seams that offer a caramel marble blend that give a soft transition into a lighter tone on the ends. Now these colors are very helpful to create and enhance a brighter look in the hair, and this is going to be the easiest way that you can determine which color will be right for you.
