2022 Natural Hair Update + Photos - Hair Loss & Gray Hair - 4C Hair/Type 4 Hair Hd 1080P

What up y'all?!? I just wanted to stop in and share what's been going on with my natural hair over these past few years. It's been and exhausting challenge for sure. :(

Okay, my armpit is going to be on display. Okay, it's kind of shadowing right now, y'all gon na, have to ignore that. It'S all right. It'S all right! What'S up y'all, i hope you are doing fantastic. It'S been so long once again um, but today i just want to come on here and kind of fill you in as to what's been going on and why i haven't uploaded um any new hair content as of late um. As of late like a couple years. Okay, honestly, i've been still experiencing hair loss and trying to recover from hair loss in the front of my hair and, as you can see, it looks like my hair, looks kind of fine in the front but as y'all know, being natural um type force, hair type 4C, hair can be very deceiving. It can kind of camouflage issues which is great when you're actually having issues right um, but i will insert some pictures here. So y'all can see what i'm talking about. It is extremely embarrassing and honestly for the past several years. I have not wanted to talk about this. I don't even want to talk about it now, so i have had blood work done and everything turns out. I have a gluten allergy gluten sensitivity, possibly celiac, i'm dairy, intolerant or lactose intolerant um. I'M dealing with a lot of allergies, so i can't really like pick up just any old product anymore and just try it out like so much has changed my favorite and still on the low end of normal um. You know still dealing with the joint pain and all that stuff yo i've kind of been stuck for the past couple years, so i have just chosen to like just not say anything and it's been really hard um, i miss y'all. I miss interacting with everybody um, but as far as dealing with my hair and trying to do my hair, i am at a complete loss. I'Ve been at a complete loss. I'Ve done so many haircuts. I have lost track. I actually just cut my hair last week. So my my sides are back up to 5 inches. I think it was around 13 inches in the winter and i just cut cut cut cut because i mean what else do you do when it just continues to fall out right? You try to try to come up with something right: um i've resorted to adding you know fake ponytails and fake puffs and uh extensions in a way to kind of help me camouflage and come up with hairstyles to get me through the hair loss situation. I lost my puff for a while um my wash and go. I have not been able to wear it because the front just looks ridiculous. Okay um, my hair stand out overall, but the front y'all i mean i don't know what to do with this hairline other than to have some sort of a bang, okay and just like never pull it up. Um. I still use topic hair fibers to kind of camouflage areas when i need you know some extra help, um but yeah. It'S rough. Anybody who's ever dealt with hair loss, and you know how difficult it can be, and it can really take a toll on you emotionally, because even when you're not trying to think about it, like you have to wash your hair at some point. Okay, you are faced with it even when you are not even trying to be worried about it. You know what i mean, no matter how careful i have had to be. I have always been reminded that there's an issue i don't know. I think i might be getting a wig soon trying some sort of wig just to have as an option um. If i can't get my front to correct itself, but i'm hoping that it's not anything like alopecia or whatnot. What seems to happen? Is it tries to correct itself, but yet after, like a month or two whatever grows in is just coming back out like it doesn't have time to sustain itself in my scalp, if that makes sense, so i don't know why it's short cycling like that um. But it's doing the same thing over and over and over again, and i just cannot gain any traction um with the situation so uh i might have to go, see a dermatologist and see you know if there's anything there um, i don't think, there's anything wrong with My scalp there's no itching, there's no flaking, there's no inflammation or anything like that, but who knows i don't know, maybe i'm allergic to something that i don't know about. I wouldn't necessarily be surprised, but i'm hoping that is nothing else. To add to you know my plate: if you will but um yeah, i will say that one update other than you know. The fact that it keeps falling out is, i am graying so much um. I i'll have a clip. I took a clip earlier, i'm wearing a different shirt, but i took a clip earlier to show y'all my grades, like i have so much gray, hair now and like if i was to part you know my bangs there's so much gray hair. So that's pretty cool to see the texture is definitely different than the rest of my hair, like the black or dark brown portions of my hair. So i've been wearing a lot of twist outs and stuff like that. I honestly have tried to preserve every dagger on strand that is left up here and again. It'S deceiving because on camera it probably looks like there's no issue, but i assure you there's a huge issue and um i'm really trying to correct it right now, i'm using some essential oils. Again. I'Ve had success with that in the past, so hopefully it'll work. For me now, but i know a lot of people don't lock their hair up. I have considered that multiple times - and i mentioned that here before, but i have considered locks a huge reason why i haven't uh. Just done like put a set in is because i feel like i need a stronger foundation in the front to support the locks. If it's falling out, the lock is going to just fall out, and that would just be probably worse than what i'm dealing with now. So um, maybe one day, maybe one day i would just lock it up and just i i guess you can't even say be done, because you always have to do some sort of maintenance right. I have thought about changing my hair's name from miss fro to miss fang, because the attitude that she has given me over the past couple years has been the most all right and our relationship ain't been that we haven't been that tight all right before i go. I definitely want to thank you all for your love and support um, your prayers. Your well wishes all of your comments, um our last video. Goodness it's been since january. We are absolutely like just so touched by all the support that we've had over these. I don't even know how many years it's been, i think i started 2013. 2014. 2012, something like that. It'S been so long y'all. I think i was like 28 okay. I will be 38 this september, so it's been a really really long time and i just really appreciate all of your support and i do miss you all and um. Hopefully i can just come on here and chat um. More often till next time take care.

thabeautiful1: Things will get better with time, I feel like you're close to a breakthrough. Keep on pushing, you'll get there. And your gray hair is lovely, I'm gray too in a lot of places and I'm only a year younger than you. I learned to embrace it and now it's a part of me. Please check back in whenever you feel well enough to do so. It was so good to see you!

nerdynap: Prayers for you and your family. I'm dealing with "unexplained" hair loss now and it's been an emotionally devastating experience. You still have a voice here, thank you for the update. Please know that you are not alone and you are not your hair.

dshunj1: It’s good to see you! I started following you for hair content, but stayed because of your personality. I dealt with hair loss and (stress induced) autoimmune issues. I was never “tied” to my hair, but when I felt like I was not in control of my body it was devastating. I went the holistic doctor route. It was expensive, but definitely worth it. I also dealt with being severely anemic. I had to get infusions and take daily iron supplements. Sending love and light your way. We will be here for your car chats too!

Embrace Awesome: Always so good to see your face - your smile is always a blessing so even these short videos are great Keeping you and the guys in my prayers

Tinahgirl83: It’s so great to see you!!! I’m glad they’re figuring out what’s going on with your health. Celiac can cause SO many problems. My mom has it (she got diagnosed a few years ago after literal decades of problems) and having it under control has helped her a lot. Hopefully it will you too. Feel free to come on here anytime. Your content doesn’t have to be just hair. We will rock with you if all you want to do is car chats or vlogs or anything at all. In the beginning we came for the hair, but we stayed because we liked YOU.

Red seouls: You’re just as pretty now as you were back then sis! I’m so glad to see you! I’m praying you will soon find a solution!

maquitta g: Hey girl! Sooooo happy to see you again and you make graying look fabulous I've been going through something similar since my Dad passed in 2019. Last year, I was done fighting with Kizzie (that's my hair when she's misbehaving) and decided to try locs. The two strand twist method left me looking homeless after a couple weeks. I didn't have the patience for comb coils -- especially after my texture changed AGAIN -- thank you Amlodipine Finally, I discovered braidlocs and haven't looked back -- perfect for my multi-textured, bipolar and slightly fragile hair. Hope you find what works for you...

Resha Ree 313: Hang In there girl! I’m going to see a dermatologist soon. Getting healthy in general helps with hair growth/retention…but it gets more difficult when you have other health issues going on. Praying for your success!

The Fabulous Life of Jan - Snippet Queen *: Yay...she's back! Welcome back guuurl! You have been missed. Keep your spirits up. Things have changed for all of us. I too am grayed up in the front and have now taken my 4C hair to locs. I am only 8 months in so this transformation has not been officially shown to the world as of yet. Hiding under slap caps and wigs has been my go to style since locking. Lol...we all have fears and insecurities. You are not alone. Just know that your channel is a safe zone. We care about you and all wish you the best. Don't stay away too long. Sending positive vibes and a hug. Janet

Kiyoncé Kartier: GIRL YESSSS!! I’ve missed you so much! Now let me watch this video

Angela Wilson: Glad to see you! ❤️ You look absolutely beautiful as always and I love your hair. The gray looks lovely on you and you wear it well. Thanks for being so transparent. Wishing you and your family good health and prosperity. Take care! ❤️

Jae-Anne Danae: Definitely missed you and your content! I’m so happy you came back and gave us an update. I’m also happy that you’re bringing us through real life issues and showing us what you’re really experiencing. I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this hair loss. You’re still so beautiful and your hair is beautiful and I hope you will overcome these challenges. I will definitely keep you in my prayers.

Joyce123: Hey!!!!! So good to see you! My hair does the same thing in the crown area. I started using toppik - bcuz of you- and that was a game changer for me. Helped my confidence ALOT. I got a tapered cut in Jan and have been loving it. I'm going in a few weeks to get another hair cut and I'm going shorter. Thanks again for the update! I'll keep you and your family in prayer!

AnnMarie Gallimore: OMG! It is so wonderful seeing you, you are truly missed. You are still amazingly beautiful but as someone who is living with fibromyalgia for the past 20+ years I understand the joint pain. Please keep the faith and come back when you are good and ready.

Peppamomma: So glad you're here! You can upload vlogs and the wind down tooo :) You are beautiful and the positivity this platform needs! I have gluten intolerance and I'm sensitive to eeevvvverything! have Ehlers-Danlos and have joint pain and dislocations often. I am in my 20s and handicapped (it got worse over time) but I'm not stopping , I can still walk and cook most days.Life is good. You and I are similar in size and I recently gained and lost a bunch of weight from cortisol, eating gluten anyway, sugar! The key is keeping inflammation low. Sometimes you will feel like a bubble woman but life is so much fun regardless. You can maybe try Micro-needling or red light therapy.

Taylormade TV: Im sending prayers up for you! I know that you’re probably frustrated, but stay encouraged! Many blessings to you!

Shola Awoyode: Miss you girl!! ❤️❤️ Thanks for your vulnerability! Loving the gray hair too, so beautiful!! Your journey will help a lot of people.

SimpleeKomplex: Hey ! It's so good to see you. Blood pressure medicine definitely causes hair loss when you first start but your hair will recover once your body gets used to it. If you're perimenopausal, that can be an underlying issue for you as well. You look lovely nevertheless.

mayflower_13: It's so nice to see your face! I'm so sorry the hair loss experience has been so tough on you. I hope that you find a solution that works for your hair and makes you feel more comfortable and confident again. As far as I'm concerned, I think you'd still be just as stunningly beautiful even if you were bald!

Antoinette Chevalier: So great to see you again! I went through a very similar hair-loss situation when I was about 5 years older than you are now = had all kinds of testing done by my general practitioner, my gynecologist, an endocrinologist, etc and none could give me a definitive answer. However, it was suggested by some of the medical practitioners that I might be going through “the change” — even though I didn’t have any of the other symptoms associated w that. Eventually, after about 2 years, my hormones must have stabilized because my hair stopped falling out. It never grew back as thick as it used to be, but it does grow longer at a relatively steady pace and yes, like you, I have a lot more grey hair (I keep mine dyed, LOL). Just keep being gentle w yourself and with your hair. If you stay the course, using quality products and not putting unnecessary tension on the hair/scalp, I think everything will work out soon. Keep the faith!

BBGigi 7: I’m so glad to see you again, you’re still gorgeous girl!! I really pray that someday you no longer suffer with the pain and hair loss. It really sucks having pain! I suffered for over a year with back pain, trouble breathing and rashes. I recently changed my diet to a Keto diet and started working out. My allergies are better and I’m not having the back pain or trouble breathing that I had been suffering with for over a year. Sugar for me was my weakness and I didn’t realize how bad it was for me. Hang in there sista! Much love ❤️

Mara111: I've missed seeing you and I'm so sorry you're going through so much. I've been going through something similar and I am being tested for coeliac disease too. My hair was thinning in my crown area and my hairline but I would say yoursuper powders (I can't live without the detox pack now) helped me get my nutrients back in when it's been difficult to eat food without getting some sort reaction. Also for joint paint, I don't know if your doctors have checked your bone density? When it is low it causes so many problems. I have fibromyalgia and I make sure I take d3 with K2, magnesium and b12. Try and see homeopathic doctors and an acupuncturists. Sometimes you have to try it all to figure out what is best for you. Praying for you and believing all these things will pass soon ❤️

Katrina Day: Hi Kriss! So happy to see you made a video. I decree and declare all is well with you and your body in Jesus name!

Wilna Prochet: Hey girlfriend, so great to see you on. Your body is going through a spiritual, emotional, and physical transformation I was faced with almost the same experience a few years back. I changed my diet, I'm now 95% plant base, and the other 5% I do eat eggs and fish on occasion. I also changed my hair product routine and mostly use Ayurveda products like alma, henna, etc. I use fenugreek as a hair and skin spray and teas. My hair, shin, and body have been thriving. Focus on your health and hair thriving, say to yourself every moment you get. I am well, my hair is growing healthier, stronger, and longer each day. When you change your mindset, your body has no choice but to obey. Check out these 2 lovely ladies on YouTube, Curly Proverbz, and the GreenBeauty channel. They have some great tips and advice about the products I mention above. Please stay positive and take care of your inner Spirit! Love, healing, and light I send your way :).

Travera Q: I’m glad to see you, and I understand your struggle. I cut my hair in April and it was down to my shoulder blades. It is so thin that the length looked ridiculous.

jewels robinson: Kris so nice seeing you! My hair start getting thin in the crown, within a few months could not believe what was happening massive thinning, cut my off it, grew but the crown did not remain thin, I decided to embrace it. I"ve had long hair, thick hair, perm hair gheri curl hair, flat iron hair, highlighted hair, natural pass 12 years we (my hair) had a good run, I purposed in my heart it's all good. You are such a beautiful woman don't let that hair worry you, if you have to rock a shave head do it with pride. The Most High have his strong loving arms of protection around you, he will bless you and keep you, no worries Kris the Biblical God in control many blessing to you♥

ROBYN DUDLEY: My hair started thinning 5 years ago. Mostly the crown all the way to the front. It’s so thin, when I wear a pony tail, I look bald at first glance. Keep your head up! I can’t say “it’s just hair” cause it is so much more than that, but you’ll figure something out. Maybe we can do wigs at the same time. Lol.

Regina Gordon: I’m so glad to see you. Thank you for being honest about your hair. Have you tried seeing a tricologist? And a nutritionist?

Jhea__nell: The last two videos you dropped came right after me thinking about you. Yesterday I was like “I haven’t seen Kris in awhile” and now here you are. I too have been experiencing some hair loss, but in my crown area. Blood work came back fine, Dermotologist says the next thing to do is a biopsy to run tests. Gurl I’m thinking about locs too. Great to see you! I’ll keep praying for you and your family.

MsAfrocomb1: Aww, missed you. Sounds like your hair cycle is being interrupted by something Hair growth goes through 3 cycles Anagen, Catagen, Telegen. Hair loss/ length retention has been affecting quite a few people I know, and it's challenging to remain positive..."hope deferred makes the heart sick". Whilst we love your hair videos, we know you are so much more than your lovely hair and we love seeing you x

Aubrey: I know you know this but I'm just reminding you you are so much more than your hair (I know it's hard me and my strands have battled too, we still battle ) you are awesome your temperamental strands are awesome! And you are always a pleasure to see. Take advantage of the happy moments, our hair seems to have its own mind and we don't always agree. Good to see you, stay well and continue striving for better, wishing you the best.

Marsha Smith: Hey, I struggled with hair loss/breakage a lot in my center for some time. So, I decided to get a tapered cut which eventually led to a buzz cut ✂️. Best decision EVER

Jasmine Desdune: You are still looking fabulous! It seems like you've come up with a lot of creative ways to make the best of your hair loss. Definately agree with your thoughts on waiting to get locs until you have healthier hair. I was loose natural for a few years (how I started watching your videos) and got so tired of all the maintenance that I got locs. I wish I had done it sooner. It's been 3 years and my hair is thick, healthy and to my shoulders with less maintenance than ever.

Veronica Graham: It's so great to see you. Blessings Sis ❤

DINOLOVER6717: It’s so good to see you back Kris. I missed your energy. Always keeping it real.

braidslikebrandy: This happened to me during the pandemic. I think it was a combo of stopping birth control and being scared/paranoid of covid. My hair is slowly coming back. I know how you feel. I just wore wigs and kept cutting thin ends. The wigs helped with my confidence.

ColdDiva: Sending warm hugs, went from the thickest longest hair I ever had to the most breakage, thinning and irritable scalp I ever had. I honestly am tired of this routine of hair care only for it to lead to devastating demise of hair loss. I’m out of solutions at this point.

Vimbai Carr: Thanks for the update. Been dealing with some similar hair loss issues lately and have felt frustrated but this helps me feel like I’m not alone. Sometimes our bodies just don’t coorperate the way we want despite our efforts. Thank you for being brave and sharing.

Annette R. H.: It was just so wonderful to see you again, Kris! Doesn't matter what interval you upload a video, no matter how frequent/infrequent, I absolutely enjoy watching whatever you upload. As a fellow woman experiencing hair loss, I empathize with you. I believe, for me, it's a genetic issue (my mom & one of my sisters are bald). And though I do have hair (just enough to partially disguise it), I am reminded of just how fine and fragile it is on wash days. I have chosen not to wear a wig bc it's simply too hot and irritating, so I style my hair in a w&g that "covers" most of the baldness in the top center of my head. Hang in there. You're beautiful inside and out. And just maybe your dermatologist will have a solution for you.

Golden Babe: So good to see you. Thoughts and prayers to you, the boys and Ms. Thang!

Khristian Simone: I’m glad to see you back but I am sorry to hear about your hair loss! I can totally relate- last year I lost some patches of hair and I still actually have a dime sized spot that grew back at first but it’s gone again. A dermatologist told my I had alopecia areata and they gave me some steroid injections for the spots and it did grow back (though a different texture) but ultimately I stopped because I didn’t want to keep getting injections . I’m giving applying aloe Vera gel a try but at this point it is what it is ‍♀️. I have noticed that a lot of natural haired ladies are experiencing this same thing lately and at this point I am starting to wonder if there is any connection between something we are doing or using . I will continue to keep you in my prayers! ❤️

natural beauty: I am so glad to see you. We really missed you and will be praying for you and your family. You are still as beautiful as ever, somethings never change!!

Trustar_2010: It's so good to hear from you!!!! Also feel free to share other things of your life besides hair. Girl I'll watch you eat gluten-free toast and still be just as invested

suneegrl: Yay! Lovely to see you again! Girl I feel the issues. My body and hair ain't actin right either. Imma keep praying for all of us to get better. I feel like I might embrace headwraps for a while..... Also the gray is beautiful

Morgan Parks: So wonderful to see you again! Sending hugs, love, and prayers your way ❤️

D Warren: Great to see you. Thank you for you honesty. The hair loss is real and painful. My loss is the front to my crown. I"ve tried everything, dermatologist using a steroid, and now supplements that are not working, fibers, oils and have even purchased clip-ins that dont work for the front, a wig that I can't bring myself to wear. Scarfs covering the top has been my go to for now. Not having the hair with no hope of it coming back is a hard pill for me to swallow. Praying for inner peace and acceptance. Hugs

Harriet: My young beautiful sister. I sympathize with what your going through. I’m a lot older have experience hair change. Please don’t give up and prior to sister locks, extensions etc. you must go to a dermatologist to determine what the problem is with your scalp/hair. By putting a band-Aid on your problem it’s not understanding what the problem really is. In other words sister locks, corn rolls, Extensions can be done but you have to know what the problem is before you do these things. By trying to hide it is OK but knowing what’s causing it is much more important. Also it might be treatable by diet, less manipulation, etc. you said your hair grows and then breaks consider a dermatologist to advise you. DON’T give up and stay in prayer God got this. Much Success

Dana S: I was so excited to see a video from you! Yay Your ringlets are adorable! I am dealing with hair loss too on my edges and breakage throughout. Trying not to freak out too much. I think it’s stress and medication and possible anemia. I’m taking biotin and now msm (now brand) and good oils. Hopefully, they work and me just chilling out. May our Dear GOD bless you all and I’m praying for you and your families!

Wellness With Linda: so good to see you and you look amazing . missed your videos and I know you will find a definite solution, we are rooting for you, praying and sending you and your family lots of love ❤️

Tee Ray: You’ve been missed for sure!!❤️ Wishing you the best as the hair journey continues.❤️You are still a beautiful bright light, be well. ❤️

Platinum Branch: Thank you so much for popping in with an update. You're still looking gorgeous as ever! Praying for you and your lovely family. Praying Holy Spirit will lead and guide you to the answer... He knows it ALL. ❤

JadeJade333: Thank you for blessing us with your presence! It's so good to see you! Praying that you will be able to find a solution. BTW, your arms are amazing!

Jackie Jones: It’s always a pleasure to see you, glad your doing great! No worries God is still in control ,He knows what you’re going thru but He say that He got you! Praying for you and your family

deidreej: So good to see you! I truly understand what you are going through! I'm losing hair and can't explain it either. You should look into seeing a trichologist (hair specialist). Good luck

Auntie Pea: I’m so glad to see you. And though things are not ideal, your hair does not define you. You are still beautiful. I trust husband and children are well. A reasonable portion of health and strength and family is more important than hair loss. It was good to see ur lovely face. Your hair may have changed but not your smile! Take care dear one.

angela g: Loved seeing your smile today. Thank for having the courage to check in with us. Sending well wishes.

Robyn Dawson: Hello Lady it is so nice seeing you again. I have always enjoyed your content. I was around from the beginning. I know that hair loss is something that is challenging for all of us as women but you are beautiful. My word of advice is that you try, (and I know it is not easy), but try to accept/embrace(I had to do this too) your hair falling out and use the hair that grows to work with styling. You can teach people how to work with what they got. Anyway, you are still beautiful girl and funny. PS I like the gray hair, it looks good on you.

Jaesha: I’m having the same issues in the front, mainly on the right side. I get it to grow and something will change either in my immune system, stress, hormone or nutrition and it falls out. I have given up. I’m just going to focus on getting as healthy as I can and camouflage the sparse areas. I have a couple of wigs if I want a specific style. I bought a one piece curly bang puff ponytail wig on Amazon that I wear for zoom calls or put and about and leave my twists in otherwise. My texture has also changed and I’m graying as well. You look fantastic and my heart goes out to you and your struggle. I thought about locs too but the slightest tension and I mean slight can cause the hair to fail out and stop growing. ‍♀️

C Shines: Say what?!?! Yay!!! So happy to see you. Hang in there.

BeautyWithinKakra: Hi Kris I’ve been going through similar GI issues- dairy, gluten and sugar problems. I literally can’t eat anything except meat, fish and potatoes :(. I gotten some hair loss in my front too bc of it. I’ve been doing AYUVERDIC treatments— Amla, fenugreek, moribga, aloe are my favorites

Jazzerlat45: Honestly, I would be happy with any kind of content you upload. If your videos require you to manipulate your hair while it is going through it, then please do not pressure yourself to make hair content. I very much enjoy your makeup videos. If you have any other hobbies that you would like to share or even opinions on shows you have been watching that is completely fine, too. It's all up to you. We're just happy to see your face again :) That said, I am glad to know that you've made some discoveries. I am praying you continue to find some more answers ❤️ Stay strong, girlie

BeautybyMattie: Hi Kris, it’s so nice to see. I’m so sorry that you are dealing with hair loss. Do you think it’s a protein overload. When I was dealing with protein overload I had tremendous amount of hair loss. I did a video on how I corrected it. Please go check it out. Blessings!❤️

BrownDiamondRina: Sis I understand what your feeling, I’ve been dealing with a bald spot in my crown section and it’s been there for some years, I’ve been debating on seeing a dermatologist, but I’m hesitant, because of the shots in my head, that they might have to do, but I’m doing something and it seems to be working, I’m using black Jamaican castors oil daily with massage and water I’ve dealing with for years, it seem it grows back, but not thick or long, and the bald spots returns, but I praying for you and me girl, that this method i doing will be the solution to both our problems and who ever else are going through this!!

OrganizedTanglz: Still pretty tho! Thank you for sharing! I just came back to my afro after almost 2 years of locs. I noticed thinning at my temple on my right side. I don’t put anything in my hair except vO5 shampoo, olive oil, water (grape seed oil at times)tea tree oil in water and vinegar. I’m allergic to gluten ,soy, dairy, tomatoes, chocolate and gum. I have high blood pressure, anemia and I’m diabetic. I hope the thin spot stops at the templePS I pluck the few grays that make an appearance. Keep pushing through!

Sheryl: Hi there, it's great to see you doing videos again! Love your honesty. So while I know that fixes for hair loss isn't for everyone but here's what worked for me.....first stop using tap water to wash your hair, use distilled water instead (made a huge difference for me). next, find your favorite all natural leave in conditioner and mix organic castor oil in it ( I use melanin haircare for the record). use this every time you shampoo your hair which should be at least once per week if you are losing hair. next try using fenugreek leave-in hair spray (there are several DIY you tube videos to walk you through how to make that (it's really easy)). Lastly, keep it basic and simple, do NOT be a hair product junky (that was me but had to stop that). That's all, I wish you well...btw... I use Melanin's entire line from the leave in conditioner to the shampoo, oil and the butter and now I'm about to try her new deep conditioner...the product line just works!

Ami- lee: I've missed you sooooo much I hope u and and ur family is doing gooood Gurl the camera isn't deceiving anyone who has been watching your videos pre lymes ur hair is not at its best(not your fault obviously) I honestly wish you the best of health and I will keep you and ur fam in my prayer

mswtaz94: I was surprised to get this and glad. Glad to see you still do have hair. When you first started to experience hair loss, I did too. Watching your videos gave me hope. I was diagnosed with alopecia areata. Bald spots came and went almost every year and had several hair cuts too. I saw a dermatologist and got steroid shots. I wore hats and wraps. By 2020 it stopped growing back. In spring of 2021 it was coming out in clumps and I had more scalp than hair showing and had to shave my head. I am now totally bald and have alopecia universalis. I have no eyelashes or eyebrows. No hair on my body. I am devastated and was suicidal last year. Few people understand what this journey does to you emotionally. I am forever changed. Please see a dermatologist to find out what it is. All my blood work was and is normal. He told me it was stress. Take care and I hope and pray you don’t have my experience.

Evelyn Thomas: Thank you for your honesty and it is soooo good to see you!

Vanessa Lacks: I thank G-D that you are doing better. I know it's hard to deal with hair loss especially with 4c hair. I have been thinning for years and it is now so thin you can see my scalp. I use crochet faux locs because they are so light. I braid up my natural hair then put a net over the braid. The loc attaches to the netting which fills in the "bald spots" It stays for only 30 -45 days. I rest a couple of weeks with wigs between wears. Crochet braids saved my mental health!! Oh and I wear a lot of head bands to cover my non existing front. Plus it looks great with the hair styles!! Hope to see you soon talking about different wigs!

myra myles: It's great to see you, so sorry that you are experiencing hair loss.

des4ny: I had hair loss issues since being pregnant with my younger daughter who is now 5 1/2 yrs. old. I finally realized after going to the doctor earlier this year that the issue is due to low iron/anemia which can mimic alopecia. Don't know if that helps you but God is able, and I speak healing in every area of your body I Jesus's Name! Amen! Blessings on Eternal Blessings love! So great to see your face, even in the trying times!

L Trotter: Great seeing your beautiful smile! I'm going through my journey as well... looking into gentle but longer-term parasite cleanses (plus other things) to attack issue from multiple directions. Maybe parasites are stealing my nutrition and throwing off my gut health...??? I don't know but praying for all of us as we learn and overcome this and find our individual answers.

DM Williams: My hair used to be so thick in my younger days. I am now in my 60’s and my hair is very thin in the crown area and around the temple area. I was very upset about it but I have been determined to just keep it as healthy as possible by washing and deep conditioning and low manipulation. I also spray clove water on my hair to try and strengthen and grow it. Please know that it will get better.

Charlene Brown: You came across my mind today and started praying for you because of your previous videos pertaining to health concerns. The gray is beautiful, Lord in the midst give her peace.

wifeymom2: Praying for your health and the health of your hair. Sending love your way ♡♡♡

Diba Lowen: Peace my Sister. It is so nice seeing your post. I have really missed you! Hang in there with Miss Fro a.k.a. Miss Thang! I am dealing with hairloss at my temples and edges. It's so devastating. May you find the solution soon.

VikkiLD: Hey girl hey! Great to see you back! ❤️❤️❤️

Renee Brown: You may just be allergic to America. Honestly, I've been developing dairy, egg and wheat allergies the past couple of years as well. When I visited Europe last year, they magically disappeared. Came back, immediate digestive issues. My husband and I met a man from Greece who is living in the US. He said that he never had dairy or wheat issues in his country. After a year or so here, he started developing sensitivity to dairy and wheat. When he goes back home, again....they magically disappear. Anyway, I really wish you the best. I very much appreciate your content because my hair is just like yours. Sharing your story helps a lot of us going through the same thing!

Myiesha: Have you tried gluten free shampoo? I send prayers and well wishes to you and your lovely family, feel better soon ❤️ thank you for the update!

V M: Good to see you. I had to go keto and take collagen peptide powder aka hydrolyzed collagen and bone broth daily. Going keto was the best thing I have ever done. Healed my gut and hair thinning issues. I didn’t realize how bad my gut was until I went keto. No sugars whatsoever and less than 20 grams of carbs a day (& that’s from green vegs). No processed foods whatsoever. No gluten. I wish you the best & I hope you figure out what’s going on. PS One other big one. Vitamin D!!! 10,000 iu a day plus vitamin K2. Dr. Eric Berg & Dr. Mark Hyman both here on YouTube taught me this.

Life with Krista J: I will continue to pray for you sis! But I'm do grateful to see another video! You're story will give so many the courage to live life despite it's challenges

mssmmns: I have followed your story since 2018. I am so sorry that you are going through this with no resolution in sight. I'm praying that someone will see this and you get the chance to go Mayo clinic and get everything checked out.

boutux: I'm always happy to see you videos when they pop up. I'm sorry that you are still having issues and hope you find out what is causing them and find a solution so you can be back 100%...(I don't mean YT (which would be great) I mean health wise). I love gray hair so to me yours blends well with the black and looks fab. I look forward to your next video, how ever long we have to wait to see it.

Nadia Borges: So nice to see you again❤❤ Take as much time you need I will be here waiting, sending lots of love and hugs for you and your family ❤❤❤

JLJ: I got excited when I received notification of a new video from you! You still look beautiful, as always. Will be praying for you.

DeQuanda Jones: Thanks for sharing. I too have thinning hair problems. I have been going through this for 10+ years and it has gotten worse over the last couple of years. I’ve started doing some research and figured out I have a thyroid issue. Per my blood work, my thyroid levels were low. Gluten causes a problem with my thyroid so I try to keep my diet grain free. I’ve added collagen to my diet and essential oils topically. I also make sure I take a multivitamin and selenium(for my thyroid). My thyroid level has gone up and hair growth has started. I think a trichologist could help before a dermatologist. I found a trichologist in my area that’s also a stylist! I may go see her if my hair growth stops. Hang in there and keep researching. Thanks again for sharing!

Marlene Motivates: I’m sorry you are dealing with hair loss . That can be frustrating. I hope your health improves

StephTho: Hey girl, so good to see you.

Antoinette Edmondson: Cloves Cloves Cloves! Hi Kris. Nice to see you're back as I've enjoyed your videos! Im a 4c natural who has experienced years of thinning hair & hair loss due to blood pressure medicine, stress, menopause and everything else that we as black women tend to take on in life. Ive tried countless remedies with limited and no long term success at retaining hair or length. Someone suggested i try homemade clove water. (boiled distilled water & cloves) which i spray directly on scalp daily and massage. Do not rinse out. Also i will use home made clove oil (lightly boil whatever carrier oil that works best on your hair and add the cloves). I leaves some of cloves in each product. My hair thrives with grapeseed oil as my hair Does Not like coconut, olive nor castor oil or proteins.. Results have been AMAZING!!!! Hair shed reduced within a week and my strands have been getting noticeable thicker. Ive been using for 8 weeks now and my hair is growing like a weed and no longer breaks, snaps or sheds. Prayerfully this will help some of my fellow naturals. God bless!

Umeca Douglas: We love you and will keep you and your family lifted in prayer

P. E.: So good to see you!! Gorgeous as usual

Tiffany C: Still looking stunning, glad to hear the joint pain is better. Sending virtual hugs, good energy, and prayers

Love Brownpaper: Will pray for you ♥️ I’m sorry you’re going through this

Carolyn Hunt: Hey girl, I followed you way back when because of your personality(so much fun). Im so glad to see you and miss you. Just fyi, I follow a chemist and she talks a lot about the make up of our hair(deep). Check out "Curly Chemistry". She does private sessions. Other than that, God is in control of everything, continue to see Him. #myhairstartedtogreyalso

Michi Love: Going through the same thing for years now and nothing is working. I was told my blood pressure medication was the culprit n I can't stop my BP meds in order for my hair to hopefully recover. It's very frustrating and, for me, devastating. I'm at the point where I'm thinking of cutting my hair off. My sister started locs n she keeps asking me to do it, but I'm not ready for that. I get where u are coming from and I will continue to pray for ur healing.

ForNaturalBeauty: Hello, miss ya too! I also had some hairline issues. I had to take a look at some of the hair products and how I was styling my hair. It got better. Have you looked at the hair products you are using. Avocado, Tea Tree, Apple Cider Vinegar, Coconut Oil sometimes affect the scalp. Check your thyroid and hormones if you haven’t done so already. Less tension. No ponytails or head bands may help. You may have dermatitis and/or eczema. It could also be the oils you are putting in your hair. Are you under any stress, anxiety? Is it hereditary? Our hair is our crown. I hope it gets better soon.

Allison Whittaker: ♥ Kris...gurl I was JUST thinking about you the other day. The Lord made a way and here you are...praise God! There isn't anyone I know who is NOT currently dealing with SOMETHING, so trust and believe that you are not alone. I am scheduled to have surgery next week to remove a mass that has grown on one of my groin lymph nodes. I have been diagnosed with a rare disease called Rosai-Dorfman. It is classified as an "orphan" disease because only about 100 out of a million people contract it annually. This will be my 2nd surgery as my very fist mass was removed from my middle thigh. Please pray for me Sis and I will do the same for you and your family. ♥ Anyway, you still look beautiful as ever. I was so happy to see your notification, and it made my day. We must keep our faith as God promised to forever be with us. You have an army praying for you. Love you Sis!! Please keep posting, we love hearing from you. You brighten our day! ♥
