The 70'S Blowout Tutorial You Need

The 70’s hair tutorial/blowout of your ✨ dreams✨ I don’t know why it died down but it needs to come back ASAP. This entire decade was nothing but body, volume and gravity-defying hair. I love it.

Your best friend for this tutorial is going to be the Tangle Teezer Ultimate Styler (available here: https://bit.ly/3P85iqs)

The key feature of this look is the brushed out curls/waves and to do that we need one heck of a hairbrush. The Ultimate Styler offers a gentle, snag free brush + a wide surface area to reach a large number of hair at once.

Pro Tip: Don’t be afraid to backcomb. Big hair is a combination of curls, teasing and spraying so don’t hesitate to brush backwards and add hairspray for extra hold!

But wasn't that just the most beautiful thing you've ever seen? Obviously we have to try it. We have to it's gon na, be the 70s hair tutorial of your dream. Oh it's giving margaret thatcher. I was scrolling through instagram and i came across the three most iconic fabulous vivacious, hair, wig styles, filling up with them right then, and there, as one does created by the amazing sarah nessia, a hair and wig stylist based in london, and i love them. I never really vibed with 70s here until i saw these styles, they were never presented to me so beautiful on, like a beautiful silver platter. I was like i ate it right up. I saw them. I was like. Obviously, i cannot let you guys go without a 70s tutorial, not be fair, so welcome to the 70s tutorial of your dream, and i don't want to take off this. Look because it's it's a look at weird is the fashion week. Maybe i should i've actually already gone ahead and curled my beautiful head off here, which took me way too long, and i sustained way too many injuries. You can get the very same. Look with a curler, your dyson air, wrap or even heated rollers, whatever works for you, i went for pretty tight curls and i clipped them all of them up, because the tighter the curl, the tighter the wave pattern it will generate, and so it's going to be A lot more defined, we're not going for loose waves, we're going for pretty defined waves well to myself. What can make this video even more iconic than it already is, but even more iconic. If i create the incredible 70s hairstyle with nothing, but this brush a little personal challenge, i think it'll be fun. A little bit of um brush asmr just feel that two-tier teeth technology it's a bit of a harmful when creating your waves. It is always important to curl the wave under itself not over. This is what's going to build that volume and give that very, very recognizable and famed 70s blowout doesn't really matter what heat tool you use so long as the barrel is pretty narrow narrower the barrel. The tighter the curl more of these individual little curls you have better to hold in the hairstyle. I missed a couple hi. This is shirley temple speaking. People still get that reference, i'm sure they do. I have fixing you guys this girl things in life. That get me as excited as a curl pattern. Now i'm going to do the thing that butters my bread every single time we're going to brush out these curls, but before then let me introduce you to the tool that is going to do all of the brushing this baby. I like to call him george, but his full name is tangle teaser, the ultimate styler hairbrush. This brush is literally designed to brush out curls. Now you might be thinking yes, bundle brushes, do that which fair enough they do, but all cars get you from a to b, but some cars just have a nicer experience. You just get to feel a lot more cush when you're going for me to be. You feel a little bit smidgen better than that. 2007 barely goes up the hill opal tigra, which happens to be the card that i tried anyways, so it's literally designed to brush through curls to create the best waves. You see these right here. Patented two-tiered teeth technology that tangle tees are pretty much birthed. This very specific and unique configuration of teeth allows the hair to actually snake through the teeth and smooth the cuticle for optimal shine. Super gentle. You can see right here, making it the perfect to go hairbrush to maintain and smooth your hair, especially if you're wearing a wig like me or, if you're, wearing a weave or extensions. This is the perfect thing to actually blend your hair and the weave together, which is a thing you should do it sometime or you ask me: yes, it's suitable for all hair types, let's actually focus on the brushing brushing out your hair, go with downward strokes and, Following the actual path and shape of your head, do not use it with heat. This thing is specifically designed to use on dry hair, to finish or perfect, your look, or in this case create it, do not be alarmed by the frizz. The 70s was pretty much known for first, it is gliding through the hair so easily, and i can feel that it is not snagging on anything which you can experience with certain other brushes. I like to do this with my wigs, my favorite things that i like to do to build even more volume in the root scratch it up a bit who's messy but she's. Getting there. I am feeling myself. Oh there's a day there um, i'm actually gon na. Go in with a shine spray because, while frizz was pretty popular back, then damage was not and we do want a bit of nourishment i'm opting for a spray shine in this case, because i don't actually want to rub in any older serum, because that might weigh Down: okay, let's get styling first thing i want to do is actually build some volume and the best way that i know how to do. It is brush out the hair and then back on it because we're using a brush as opposed to something like a comb. We can get a much larger section, but at the same time, kind of keep it a lot softer. It might seem a bit unorthodox to tease up the hair, with the hair fully shown that it's teased and in this case it's helping the wave hold their place. We'Re going for a pretty main effect here in this case, the tangle teaser is actually really really amazing, because i get to hit a pretty large surface area doing that again, the 70s weren't too strict on pretty strict hair rolls the one hair rule that the seventies Followed was the bigger the better. I love the decade. It is flamboyant and big and unorthodox as hell, that is the 70s hair tutorial of your dreams, curl it brush it down and then brush it the hell up. I love this so much. Thank you, george. You are amazing to everyone else. This thing is amazing, buy it check it out for yourself see if it works, no doubt that it will, because it's a pretty established hairbrush, but give it a whirl see what you think i will be linking it down below. So you have no excuse. Do you want to try one more hairstyle? This is your top one final bite. Oh, i love it. It'S past midnight and i look like a doll i like that, give it a whirl. Try it out. It'S an amazing, incredible bloa. I don't know why the hell it went out of fashion, but i'm seeing it's coming back now. Codex Noir: Beautiful. 70’s hair was its own special thing for sure. Please don’t feel bad if you can’t get your hair to do this, keep in mind that back then, EVERYONE had a perm, Men too, that’s how they got this style so easily. I know because my mom was a Prof. hairstylist back then & she specialized in perms. She herself had a perm, even though she had naturally very curly hair. I very vividly remember these looks, the products & techniques used. I remember her getting all dolled up with a BIG blowout to go disco dancing I even have a glamour shot of her where she had the whole look going on, bangs, blue satin disco dress, BIG shiny black curls, a full beat of Mary Kay cosmetics… I remember it so vividly. Later in life I myself tried to recreate the curls to no avail, i have stick straight hair that will NOT hold a curl. So I just appreciate from a distance. Men absolutely love this look too, I’ll tell you that much. The first & second wig shown, perfection, just like that.

MissMargaret: That’s my haircut. It makes doing this blow out almost effortless. I usually let my hair air dry in it’s curly state, but I also love this full 70s blowout. I always get comments on it.

Deirdre Clyde: Genuine question: Why is it called a blowout? I thought a blowout was, by definition, created with a blow dryer. I first heard the term in the 90s from curly or wavy girls trying to get that smooth straight Rachel hair, but more recently I have seen blowouts with a wave or curl created by a round brush. I could see calling Farrah Fawcett feathered hair a blowout, because that does require a blow dryer (and also a specific layered cut), but not the big bouncy curls like this. Am I wrong here?

Jessica D: You have no idea how perfect your timing is for this video!! I am attending a 70s theme bday party this weekend!! Thank you Stella ❤️

James C: Oh, now you need to do fashion hair series from 70's, 80's, 90's, Farrah Fawcett, Dolly Parton, Linda Carter, Dorothy Hamell and so on. Have some fun with the iconic older styles.
